The quality service that they provided me was a very pleasant experience, especially the midwife Nadia Reis who was in charge of my baby girl and me throughout the entire delivery process and part of the pregnancy, thanks to the fact that she speaks Spanish and English. He was able to make everything easier and more comfortable for us. The greatest of thanks to you.

Melissa was extremely insensitive when providing me with results from blood work, making me feel anxious, upset and embarrassed that I had “the highest numbers” she’s ever seen. She referred me to a local OB and told me I could still keep my upcoming appointment “if I want”. Melissa made it clear my future appointments will now go through the OB office. Melissa never contacted me after the referral to follow up, so I assumed that was that. It wasn’t until MONTHS later I received a kind phone call from Heather asking if everything was alright, as she’s been away from the clinic and realized I haven’t been in for any appointments. After explaining how horrible Melissa made me feel, Heather advised I could have still come in for visits/receive support from the Midwives team. Had Melissa provided me with this information, or followed up after advising how concerning my blood work results were, I would have loved to continue to receive support from the Midwives. However with only a month and a half left of my pregnancy, I felt like I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time. If I was welcomed back, Melissa should have followed up or advised me of this instead of repeating how she is flabbergasted by my results and was quick to refer me to an OB. Melissa definitely ruined the experience of my first pregnancy as her comments always stuck with me.
I am grateful to have met Heather and would give her a 5/5 review if I could. Her phone call reaching out to me meant a lot and made me wish I had known I could have continued to go to the Midwives clinic throughout my pregnancy. I’d consider to go back to them again only if I am not on Melissa’s team.
