I was impressed with their level of customer experience. The representative was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. She explained the differences of each washing machine and dryer and the promotion offers patiently. She offered drinks and cookies during the visit. That’s a bonus! I had cappuccino. It was good. I enjoyed this shopping experience a lot.

Very incompetent workers I lost a lot of nerves and time I have never encountered worse service! You will have a problem with delivery and also a refund for your order if you ask for a Refund. You will be delayed in this process for as long as possible. Don't repeat my mistakes! I still haven't received my refund and I can't give my mother a gift because of this

For a company that sells such high-end products, the lack of customer centricity is appalling. When I finally got to Jim at the President’s office I was expecting to have my issue resolved, yet he completely dismissed it with a “sorry not sorry” attitude and lacked very basic customer service skills. Had Miele given me the $90 credit I requested, they could have kept a customer for life. Instead they lost thousands in future revenues because of their inflexibility and myopic view of addressing customer concerns.

I’ve never been treated so rudely by a company, let alone someone who represents the President. The only people who actually listened and tried to help were the front-line customer service reps, yet when I shared with Jim that the reps acknowledged my issue and said the President’s office should be able to help me out, he got annoyed and said he’ll “talk to Julie” to ensure she doesn’t misrepresent the company’s willingness to help its customers ever again. Lol. I hope Julie moves on to another company that actually values her customer service skills.

Here are the facts of what happened:
• In Sept 2022 I asked Miele for the part number of a specific oven rack. They gave me the number and I placed the order.
• We were in the middle of a move so I didn’t open the box until the following summer. Immediately I saw that they gave me the wrong part number.
• I asked to return the part and get a credit so I can purchase the right one. I understand that 10 months passed but the item was brand new and I was hoping they would be flexible considering THEY were the ones who gave me the wrong part number (which I have documented via email).
• After many (generally positive) conversations with several reps, Jim from the President’s office very arrogantly communicated to me that there’s absolutely no way they will consider giving me a credit, given the box has been opened. There’s no seal and I could have easily said I didn’t open the box, but I was honest as I expected they’d be flexible enough to waive $90 in order to keep a customer. Nope.

We’ve had a number of other issues with faulty Miele products (oven dial, oven light etc.) but this lack of customer centricity sealed the deal and we will NEVER purchase any Miele products again. Reading reviews on TrustPilot, HomeStars and BBB I see my experience is very much on brand with how they treat their customers, which is a terrible business strategy. I hope they take a hard look at themselves and revamp their outdated approach, otherwise there's just no way they're staying in business long-term.

Amazing appliances, I love the design and the quality! I always receive great support from the employees, they are very professional and courteous. The office in Vaughan is a perfect location, you can take a look at the new generation of Miele appliances, and enjoy an excellent coffee from a Miele coffee maker. Thank you Miele!

If I could give Miele zero stars I would. Our dryer has stopped working for 3 weeks now. I have called Miele multiple times to send a technician. They do not let me know the time of the technician’s arrival (they are supposed to let you know 24 hours ahead) I have wasted my time waiting for the technician just to have the technician call me and say he hasn’t received the parts required for my dryer. I called Miele to let them know and they said the parts had been sent to the technician. They were going to all me back and fix another day for the technician to come but of course no call from them. I am on the phone waiting for someone listening to bad elevator music right now. I hope someone answers from customer service. I would recommend anyone planning to buy Miele to avoid it like the plague. This is a company that does not care about its service to its customers. Very very disappointed.

Wanted someplace to put my review for their dishwashers. Originally toss up between Bosch & Meile. We bot the meile it lasted 14yrs. Great! But they say a meile dw should last 20 years on average ️. The sad part is I recommended meile to my brother too and it broke a couple yrs before ours. The tech said they needed a new motor. $800+ after warranty it broke again. They bot a Kitchenaid. So as I could not get a straight answer from meile service on the error code for my dw other than to book a $300 service call I did not want to go thru my brother's experience sooooo this time I followed my brother's product recommendation and bot the same dw as he did. They say meile is like the BMW of appliances. I agree. BMW. Break my wallet

If you are looking at purchasing Miele Appliances please be aware of Manufacture support. Unfortunately my experience has cost me 1500.00 as we followed Miele technical service expertise. We had changed the recommended parts only to find out the last part recommended was obsolete. My service technician was left with non refundable parts and myself THE CONSUMER a bill. I deal with several builders in Ontario along with Condo developers who will be aware of my experience which in over a year was never resolved. They have no clue of customer support and they have no clue who they are dealing with.

Terrible Company. I was really convinced I was doing the right thing buying a $4000 Built-In (Panel-ready) dishwasher. I was prioritizing quality / durability over price as it was a built-in appliance. It ended up being an average dishwasher.at 3-4 times the price.
Even worst. To repair it would cost over $1000.
And it is not over. Customer service is completely awful. Talking to customer service is in fact taking an appointment.or nothing. So it is an endless loop. You try to explain your disapointment/issue, they send a technician. Technician comes says it is broken.call the service.they want to send another technician.did that twice already.hoping I could talk to a real person. A real joke.
And no, not yet over. The finance department is calling and sending me letters asking me to pay an invoice for the repair. AND NO REPAIR WAS DONE. It was just an estimate. I declined it and it is cleary stated by the technician on the quote.and they are still harrassing me to pay a bill.
And who should a call now? Customer service? They will send me another technician? !? !
Miele Executive - Please do something! It is urgent. It is over for me Miele! Never again. I am 47 years old. 2nd company only on my black list. This tells you how terrible is this company from my standpoint.
Next step for me is to ask for compensation for damage suffered for all the time I am losing with this terrible company.

I am so disappointed with the service I got from this company. I purchased a 1000 dollar cordless vacuum in March 2022, and it was the worst idea to buy. I have tried to contact Miele by emailing, calling, calling places they told me to take the vacuum to.
I did not get any type of help, I chose this company because my clients recommended it and told me, that it was supposedly good customer service and they will definitely be helpful if in need. I don’t have another month of my time to waste to go back and forth with this. I do not want this vacuum anymore, it’s terrible, I should have purchased one with a cord.
I’m truly disappointed with this service and help I received. I deal with clients on a regular basis and I know what customer service means.

I emailed you guys whatever you asked me to, two times and I have not heard any response. I’m not understanding what is happening and why I can’t get any customer service here.

Headoffice - you need to read these reviews and take note and IMPROVE upon this. The customer service here is none existent. I purchased a Miele combi steam oven and a speed oven. I had some questions about the steam oven as the instruction manual is poor and complicated. I called client services and they didn't know the answers and told me to call the experience centre. I left two voicemails and had ZERO response. I tried to send a 'contact me' online form multiple times from different browsers Safari, Google Chrome but they both froze. Where do I go from here? Do I have to actually book an appointment to drive 1 hour to Vaughn to ask someone in person. This is APPALLING customer service and nobody seems to care or act upon these terrible reviews. I have bought Miele appliances all my life. I am English and the customer service in Europe is hands down better than this, in fact it is not even comparable - zero customer service V excellent in Europe. What is going on with the North American Miele management? This is such a huge market to win over but not like this. This is shameful. I guess I will have to not use the functions that don't seem to work, never buy another Miele product again and refer my friends and family to other high end brands who actually care about their client base. Appalling!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE> Purchased a 60K worth of appliances for our new build in November of 2021, the estimated arrival of our fridge, freezer and range is now NOVEMBER OF 2022. The steamer arrived broken from the beginning and the oven needs repair as well. Customer service is nonchalant, vague and dismissive.

The worst post purchase customer service out there. What is wrong with you guys?

Impossible to get a hold of anyone, and when you are lucky enough to talk to someone, they are unprofessional, useless and clueless.

Absolute rip-off service fees. They would charge $260, send a wrong technician and then demand $750 for another tech. So a total of $1,000+ to… drumroll… LEVEL A FRIDGE!

Shameful for a “premium” appliance brand.

Miele Experience Centre Toronto is near Vaughan Mills' neighborhood. I visited it for Miele's Ghost Kitchen when it featured a dessert tasting menu by Chef Christopher. Ghost kitchens are a pop up trend since the pandemic. So if there's something strange in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call? Ghost-busting Yelpers!

I arrived at the Miele Experience Centre as the first appointment at 11AM. The kitchen team was busy whipping up a storm ahead of the day's crowd. A kind staff provided a complimentary cappuccino, but the Miele appliance didn't kindle my interest as the coffee didn't measure up to Nespresso. Nonetheless, the star desserts were terrific.

Chef Christopher aka "Baker Siu" has an education in pharmacy. He competed in an earlier season of MasterChef Canada, and following that opened up the successful Daan Go Pastry Lab known for its cartoonish macarons. "Daan Go" actually means "cake" so the bakery is synonymous with neat cake creations as well. During the pandemic, Christopher returned to MasterChef and won the season on his creative flare. The competition was coincidently sponsored by Miele appliances.

Daan Go's Pistachio Rose Savarin unveiled a delectable pistachio glaze that complemented well with the rosewater gel disc on top. For contrast, Buckwheat Hazelnut Savarin was topped by a light chocolate dipped macaron, with an interesting sweet nutty ganache. With these and other creative desserts served alongside competition grade HK milk tea, it's no wonder judges were impressed.

The worst experience of my life! NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!
They sent a clueless technician to fix our noisy yet fully functional fridge and he managed to break it, everything got warm afterwards, and charged us big money for their lack of competence.they are terrible enough not to accept the responsibility. They shamelessly refuse to comeback to fix their own fault immediately, instead gave us appointment weeks later.
Folks out there: DO NOT TRUST MIELE TECHNICIANS! Random repairmen could do much better and keep it more honest and cheaper.

The worst customer service that I have ever received anywhere. Nothing but a bunch of liars. An absolute disgrace and truly an exercise in frustration. Their reviews speak for themselves. Shame on you Miele and your useless "Customer Service Agents" for taking advantage of people. Never would I buy another Miele product or recommend them to anyone.

This is a review on Miele Canada. We bought all Miele appliances for our new kitchen and paid for the extended 10 year warranty. Our dishwasher stopped working after 2 years. It took a week and a half to get a tech to look at the dishwasher. He tried to blame our plumbing and then he managed to get it working but it stopped again one day later. After another call to Miele it took another week and a half to get another tech to assess the dishwasher. He told us it was working but the thing stopped working about an hour after he left. Now, after spending an hour waiting on the customer service line, it's going to take another week and half to get another tech to look at it.

In our last house we had a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and it never broke down in 5 years and cost half as much.

The quality of Miele has really gone down hill and the customer service at Miele Canada is terrible! Don't waste your money!

This is not review for Miele Experience Centre Toronto.

This is friendly warning that stay away from Miele because you’ll be disappointed.

We bought Miele dishwasher in Jan 2020 (We had full Miele kitchen appliances before in our previous home). The nightmare started with loud noise and we had first call to Miele and they had someone came to repair due to wrong installation settings. The technician also heavily tried to sell their dish soap products saying our door panel inside heat tint was caused by Cascade dish soap LOL.and Miele dish soap will not have that. (We use vinegar to clean off this heat tint and disable the auto door open function and problem solved (design engineering issue).

Since then we also found our door panel inside has visible scratches that causes by the tray. After calling them they came and deny any issue and blame us. Then I was reading their product manual and found out the tray was installed incorrectly since day ONE! Unbelievable with these technicians. (All Miele appliances are required to be installed by themselves and so is our dishwasher was installed by their technician)

While technicians here they are like sales persons. I asked will those scratch cause rust they said no. Then 5 mins later they said if I use Cascade dishwasher then they will rust, if I buy Miele dish soap, then it won’t rust. (Am I 5 years old?). Then they charge us $250 for this visit unless we buy 6 boxes of dish soap from them). They said they are trying to help me and yet resolve the root cause issue. (I found the issue after they left and fix the tray installation).

Their dish washer material has gone cheap. Our previous model the water spraying arms were made by stainless steel and the newer model all made by plastic.

Buy anything high end appliances and avoid Miele if you can. Otherwise you could be on your way connecting with their pushy sales technicians.

We have a 6805 coffee machine built in. The machine has broken three times. I would suggest not purchasing Miele products. The price tag does not match the quality. Extremely disappointed.

Very bad experience with Miele. Our Microwave stopped working after 4 years. I have been trying to contact them for last 5 days and service department doesn't pick up the phone - even after 55 minutes of hold. What is the Warranty worth if we can't get hold of them - even after calling for 5 days. Terrible. Very Dissappointing.

The worse thing is that no one else can repair Miele Appliances as Miele can only do it. I spent so much money on buying all their appliances - Refrigerator, Washing machine, Dryer, Dish washer and Micowave. Now I am thinking of buying another Microwave - as everyone knows it is such a practical appliance.

Now I am concerned that if one of my other appliances broke, It would be a nightmare. Just Terrible. And this happened just after 4 years.

This is NOT a review of the " Experience Centre ", but rather a review of the 'Experience' of a customer who bought a houseful of Miele appliances closing in on a 6 figure price tag, and 1 year later, with a brand new freezer that does not work, is stuck with " the experience". The experience of spending hours on the telephone line with customer service only to receive platitudes/promises/apologies and assurances that a service person would be responding/they take these concerns "very seriously"/you "don't have to call again, we will definitely deal with this" etc. The appliances that work, work well. But buyer beware.if you purchase these high end appliances and they don't work, you are sunk. Their customer service is a dreadful "experience". Their service staffing is lean and overstretched and they just plain can't manage their customer base. The front end "experience" is very attractive but the after care is beyond dismal. Completely boggles my mind that a German Company with the international reach of this one couldn't care less about maintaining the reputation they stake claim to. It is so disappointing to have a faulty appliance from Day 1, no recourse to change it, and no ability to get it up and running either. The service technicians are really courteous and good people but they are clearly overworked because they come by, determine the fault, and then disappear for months with absolutely no follow-through. We had to go out and purchase another appliance to help us get through the summer with the non-working Miele appliance. A very disappointing " experience", and one that I would advise you to embark on with caution. Still waiting 1 year later.

Zero stars for customer service (far from German standards). Your average long wait times on hold in attempt to speak with customer service only to be told by some guy (Aman) "A supervisor will be in contact with you in 24 to 48 hours" to actually receive no follow up communication! I purchased a Miele appliance from Appliance Canada back in August of 2019 for delivery in 2020 and experianced delays through all of 2020 no appliance delivered. I was told in December 2020 to make final payment in order to guarantee delivery for February of 2021, so I did. It is now practically June and still no appliance. Does Miele really need to HOLD my Money? Their customer service people need to be schooled on customer service. Unbelievable! I would not recommend a Miele appliance to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY!

Purchased a Miele Fridge to replace our 20 year old Whirlpool fridge. It's quite shocking how noisy the new Miele fridge is. Even in another room you hear the compressor turn on and it will stop any conversation. Never had that issue with our (very) old fridge. Complaint right away and Miele sent a technician and his response was that it is normal. Paying for a "premium" appliance I'm still in disbelief how noisy this fridge is. Definitely would NOT recommend to buy a Miele fridge!

Love it! It's like a cross between a museum and a fun sales centre. It really gives you an appreciation for the brand and the diversity in appliances they have. Also - they are currently running a really good ghost kitchen that aids chefs during this pandemic. Now if only I can afford appliances here:)

5 star for products (made in Germany) and zero stars for service and customer service (far from German quality standards). Your average long wait times on hold in attempt to get appliances serviced. Archaic service appointment system where you are not able to book ahead of time. You are expected to be able to clear your schedule for a tech to come, within a 24 hour notice. Unbelievable.

Absolutely disappointed with miele products & and their warranty services. Choosing Miele was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I chose their products for the sleek design and thinking how can you go wrong with German products. Was I ever wrong!
The fridge broke after 2 months. They ended up replacing it after some repair attempts. The oven broke right after. Got repaired, still doesn’t work the way it should. Now the stove top is half broken. I am at the point of replacing it so I don’t have to deal with their extremely poor warranty services & scheduling. They are rude, disorganized & have no respect for their customers. Never again buying any Miele products. Save yourself & your money from the hassle. NOT WORTH IT.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a part for a Miele washer and received a wrong part. I called Miele in Vaughn and spoke with Hema. She requested that I send a picture of the part I needed and they would exchange it. I did as requested. No confirmation of the email or of the refund was send so I followed up a couple of days later and was told refund was being issued and I will received a shipping label to send the wrong part back. Again, no confirmation email, no shipping label. I called in a week and was told the same thing but now clarified that it will take about 2 weeks for the 'accounting department to approve the refund'. None of the time Hema was available for the call although I specifically asked for her (though she was in the office, she preferred to give messages to me through other customer reps). It's been another two weeks and I received absolutely nothing. I don't have the part I need and the money have not been refunded to me; the box with the wrong part is standing in my hallway. Absolutely unacceptable! Will never buy Miele and will not recommend it to anyone

WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MIELE PRODUCT AGAIN - buyers beware. If your appliance breaks down the only people that can service your Miele appliance is Miele because they do not sell parts to other service providers. My Miele dishwasher has broken down (for the second time in 3 years) the drain intake. I had to wait 3.5 weeks for technician to service my dishwasher. He came on Oct. 13th. Really nice guy BUT it is Oct 25th and it broke AGAIN. The earliest I can get a tech in again is NOV. 9th! Not cool. I know they are busy but then allow other service techs to buy parts so they can help you with service calls if you cannot handle the demand. Wish I had known this when I bought it. And the service call cost be me over $350 not including parts.

I cannot express how disappointed I am with the service received from one of the world's premium appliance brands. Delays, poor customer service, and manufacturing defects.

My wife and I have moved into our forever home, and were selecting among Miele, Thermador, Wolf/Subzero, and others. We opted for Miele mainly because the sleek minimalist design fit with the vision for our kitchen, with comparable or better appliance quality, and a superior warranty included. To be fair, we are reasonably pleased with the function of the appliances, but my experience has been so poor I'm close to ripping them all out and going with a competitive brand.

We ordered HR1724G dual fuel range, French Door fridge KFNF9955iDE, and Classic Plus 3D G4998. All appliances ordered together June 14.

Range issues: Was advised in July that range would instead be delivered in August or September, I said this was unacceptable and was told the manager would call me back. It is unknown to me how it takes >2 weeks to check if a delivery date can be met, and the manager took IIRC 6 days to return my call - only after I called the CSR line at least 5 times looking for updates. When the range arrived it did not come with the swivel handle as ordered. Also Miele ranges require a 30A supply instead of the typical 40A, this was not advised at any point and I had to hire an electrician to change the breaker&receptacle. Also when the oven is turned on there is a strong current of hot air blowing out from the door. What the hell?
(They did offer to install my range for free because of the delay, however it arrived six hours early which happened to coincide with my contractor's visit #2, so I had him do the gas hookup)

Dishwasher issues: Panel did not come with pre-drilled holes for handles, my installer has never seen this before with Miele appliances in >20 years which added delays and costs for his time. Also the bottom rack rolls backwards into the dishwasher. Also did not come with 3rd rack for cutlery (mistake at Coast Appliances). When we ordered the 3rd rack through Coast while on the phone with a Miele rep, it did not come with rails so cannot be installed.

Fridge issues: Again, manufacturing defects, did not come with pre-drilled holes for handles which added delays and required an additional visit by my installer. Also when the ice maker draws additional water, it sounds like a jet engine going off. I thought your appliances were supposed to be QUIET.

FWIW, I hired a company that was a Miele installer for >15 years, but then broke out on his own to start his own business. He has been installing all premium brands for over 25 years, and I selected this company because I needed all relevant rough-ins for these appliances, and he could do everything. Miele installers will not run lines in your home, only install appliances.

Miele refuses to reimburse me for the added costs I have incurred because of their self-admitted mistakes, on the basis I did not use their installer. The costs are due to manufacturing and logistics failures, not installation. This is an unacceptable cop-out of an explanation. I recommend to anyone in the process of selecting an appliance brand, cross Miele off your list. They do not care about providing even basic levels of customer service, and will not work with you in any way to reach an equitable solution.

To the Miele reps who may read this, I expect you to cut me a cheque to cover my installer's bill AND send a tech to fix your products. Thank you for making this the most miserable product experience possible.

Attention Buyers: Think of the important service you will need in the future.
Miele after-sales service in Canada has been horrific and below the least quality of products. When we purchased over $50,000 worth of Miele products, given the history in the marketplace, we did not expect this whatsoever. In Canada, we have had major issues with service.
1) Miele does not allow any other service provider access to your parts and technical diagram
2) Miele consistently charges 3 to 5 times the going rate for parts and regular service
3) since the COVID-19 pandemic, Miele won't even pick up the phone or answer emails for essential service to get the equipment back to running, even with the ridiculously expensive rates.

The single star is for the customer service at Miele Canada. Particularly the Management Team at the "Experience Centre" in Toronto. After having trouble with the install department I asked for the Install manager to call, gave them 2 days and called asking for the Sales manager to call me, gave it 2 more days and called asking for the Customer Service manager to call me. Results nothing no calls. Gave a some social media a try, Twitter and Facebook, the auto responses took my information and guess what no calls. Their have been some good and competent people who seem well trained that I have dealt with however there are some very poor staff as well. My guess is the middle and upper managers are mostly poor and this is allowing the bad apples to hang around and some good people to leave. At this point I would not recommend using Miele Canada there are other excellent German and European manufactures that hopefully understand customer service better.

Poor Warranty: Be aware that Miele does not guarantee parts to be in stock/nor readily available for under Warrantied items. For a premium brand this is not acceptable. We had to wait 2 weeks for a dishwasher part that was under the 5 year Warranty. Furthermore, when you call non-Miele service techs they tell you they cannot get parts as Miele restricts access.

Imagine if you had a fridge or laundry unit, and you had to wait 2 weeks.

Great product (dishwasher 5-Star) but lousy Warranty Service.

Im going to post what I sent to Miele
In 2009 we purchased four Miele Products, dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer. Im a person where I don't mind paying for quality but when I pay double the price and the quality is not there I have a big problem and I will not be a future customer.

We have had a problem on all the Miele products right out of the gate like motors, compressors, electrical boards, plastic cracking, sensors and the latest the washer machine failed on the 10 year mark.

Miele advertises there products last 20 years. When you call Miele they new before they came what the problem was and to fix there bad engineering design and it cost $1500.00 to fix (yes $1500.00). If you say no they still charge you $281.37 just to tell you something they already new was a design flaw, see attached photo. This bracket is an aluminum piece attached to stainless drum that slowly deteriorates over time where this should have been made out of stainless steel. When I did a tare down of the washing machine there was no door even to service the motor or belt at the back of the drum.

What I see right now Miele products is a totally throw away product if you make it to 10 years.

I told Miele that their service department like to make comments about the local well water in our area that causes all the problems even compressors failing in the fridge but I would like to point out the appliances I had before was Maytag and after 20 years they where still working and I sold them as a working appliances that never saw a service man.

We were in the market for a new washing machine. We own a Miele dishwasher and it has been excellent. After considering and rejecting some mainstream brands we decided to take a trip to the Experience Center. Kate Smantser of Miele worked with us and patiently walked us through the features and benefits of Miele washing machines. Kate was terrific. After discussing it over lunch my wife and I went back and purchased the machine. The Experience Center is the best place to go if you are considering Miele. Everything is under one roof and the staff really know their stuff. You are never pressured. Miele costs more but they are going to last a lot longer. We just got tired of replacing a washing machine every 6-7 years. Most appliances are not designed to last anymore. Miele is an exception.

I have a 3 year old Miele Dishwasher. Terrible! Even when the dishes are pre-rinsed the machine does a terrible job. My old dishwasher from 1984 cleans better! The Fridge water filter needs to be replaced every 6 months at $100+tax a piece. One for the fridge on for the freezer. $452.00 a year for filters! Sometimes showing the new filter needs replacement immediately. The fridge also makes a "clunk clunk" noise every few hours. Miele has no explanation for it. APPLIANCES LOOK GREAT! But functionality is poor!

We chose yet another Miele product. Based on the love we have for the brand, we willingly give the parent brand and the products they engineer, a full 5 stars.

For the Canadian head office decision makers who make me drive 148km to sign a form in their showroom that should be available within any of their authorized retailers, they lose 3 stars.

Please explain how you authorize a retailer to represent Miele, supervise the build out a beautiful Miele satellite showroom, but won’t allow a customer to sign a simple rebate form from that location. When I asked whether head office could email me a form to sign, the response was simply ‘I’m sorry, but it’s Miele Canada’s policy that you need to sign the form inside their corporately owned Vaughan or Yorkdale locations. ’ It’s not lost on me (but apparently lost on those that enforce the requirement) that I’m required to drive 148km to sign-up for an ECO-REBATE!

@miele, you make amazing products, but your local market policies are head-scratching at best and for many will border on sales prevention.

Grear experience at Miele! Due to my stroke we need to upgrade our kitchen. Being in a wheelchair, a curtious Mr Parag even opened the door for me and offered us not only coffee but lunch also as a demo. Parag gave us a grand tour and left no question unanswered. It was a real pleasure and joy visiting Miele. Thanks to very helpful Parag who is a real asset to Miele. Right from entering the store he explained everything and had answers to all our questions. Parag is certainly an asset to Miele company. Thank you Miele and special thank you to Parag. - Elizabeth and Zoltan B.

I recently visited the showroom and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. I had some delicious lunch prepared by one of Miele's event chefs, freshly baked cookies and coffee. The staff were also incredibly kind and well-informed. I would highly recommend speaking with Parag. It's been a while since I've experienced exceptional customer service like that. A visit to the experience centre is definitely worth your while!

$250 professional installation give me a scratched dishwasher from day one. Update: they resolved the issue quick, and they are nice to talk with. But be aware while technician doing the installation to avoid this kind of trouble.

I am now 3 months without a freezer that is still under warranty & have been waiting for conclusive service without a result.

First contact made: 12th July 2019 regarding freezer not working
Technician visit scheduled for: 16th July 2019. Still not fixed after visit, no explanation given. Technician claims it was fixed.

Technician came back around 23rd July 2019.said needs replacement part. Part on back order as he doesn't have it.
Reference number: 3964175

Followed up on August 12th, 2019: Customer service claims 1 week for part to be shipped, never shipped.

September 30th, 2019: I received a call that part is again on backorder.

At this point, my freezer should be replaced, as it is under warranty and I have been unable to utilize this purchase as I was promised.

I will update this post if anything changes or remains unsolved.

I’ve never owned a Miele product but there was one particular gentlemen named Parag who changed everything for me. You guys are seriously lucky to have him, he was so helpful and kind. It was our first time so he went over all the products what they do and how to use them. He was so specific in every area and his exceptional customer service made us feel so welcome. This was honestly incredible. He deserves to be recognized and rewarded for how he treats his customers!

Miele has always been my go to store. However, in the last year or so, they have become so large, that customer service isn't as good. I just tried going online to purchase their Care products and they have changed their interface and it is now no longer user friendly. After speaking to someone "higher up", they have resolved my issue and I truly appreciate the time they spent with me and their patience. Thank you Miele for listening!

Non reliable washing machine bought with extended warranty broke down few times loaner does not work also, it's a overpriced trash, avoid this brand, Customer service is horrible

Very unprofessional delivery team and customer service. Delivery team passed off some work to install team. Install team didn’t want to do it. Customer service gives no help and no resolution. Completely petty and unprofessional company. Regret buying their products because of this. Will never again in any of my homes or clients as result of this. They do not appreciate your business what so ever. Too bad.

Spent over 5 weeks trying to resolve a problem with a non-functioning new washing machine that was barely 3 weeks old. 4-5x a week on the phone, non-returned calls, misleading statements and promises that were never kept.

Just terrible customer service.

In addition, their invoices are fake. I ordered online with one of their promotions.a few weeks later and I called and they could not find the order. The guy put in a new order, and the prices were entered as a regular price (at the discounted price advertised). So the "$300" off promotion, is in fact their real price.

The people who run the Canadian office are just full of garbage.

Bought the condenser dryer T7644C on January 16 2019. The dryer does did not operate correctly. They sent a technician called Wayne, who did not listen to anything we had to say and "educated" us about clothes drying time. MIele Canada Service does not respond to emails, everyday when we call them, they will promise someone will call by the end of the day, who will not. The last person they said would call us is the service manager "Paula", who did not.

A true luxury brand will address issues when things do not go right - check the BBB and other websites. You will see that this is a common complaint about Miele Service - they will not respond or ignore you. Read BBB reviews and complaints and you will find a common pattern.

By failing to respond, address, or take any responsibility or admit that they sent a defective unit, the true face of their customer "service" is evident - so long nothing is wrong, you won't have any problems, but if it means that they need to address an issue due to fault of their own, then they will fail to respond, or to quote one of their reps "what do we do with the old machine'?

Dont' be fooled - Miele is not the "best" appliance manufacturer, and their aim to position themselves as a "luxury"-brand means nothing - just a marketing stunt. Service is non-existant, and their arrogance is astounding.

In addition, there are plenty of below average Miele appliances - their microwaves are dismal and ridiculously overpriced. A 100 dollar Panasonic microwave is better. Their robot vacuums are actually made in South Korea, and a $300 Eufy works better. For full automatic coffee-machines, Jura is by far better. Smart shoppers will not buy just because of a brand-name, but base their decisions on quality, service and functionality.

Now that Panasonic has entered the market, with high-end appliances, reliable and high-quality Japanese products are available to us!
