Tasty after I cut the top off my panzerotti and spread the toppings out the pepperoni and mushrooms so I could enjoy them in every bite mushrooms were piled in the middle and the pepperoni on the outside edge but with the toppings piled up and not spread out it was easy to remove most the olives that I didn't order wasn't going to drive the 20 miles back to town to return probably won't eat there again
Listen, if you like cheese the pizza will be your best friend. The donair was amazing, but the pizza sub and donair sub is the best I’ve tried. Definitely recommend
After reading a few reviews, I decided to purchase a large fried (option for fried or baked) panzorotti (pepperoni, bacon, mushroom & green olive) I purchased an extra sauce to be on the safe side. It was not oily, but the crust was a tad on the tough side. Ingredients looked and tasted good. Definitely not too salty. The sauce is not sweet, which is great for my pallet, but it did not contain meat in case you are wondering. Absolutely, I would recommend this place for a panzorotti. The large could easily feed 3 adults or two adults and two children. The ownerbthanked me for my patronzarion, which was nice. Between 4 and 5 star is a reasonable review or 86 if you prefer a number,
I was not impressed with my order from Mike's pizza & donair the Panzarati i ordered was locking in cheese and it had way too much ham in it Was not enjoyable my marinara sauce came frozen and my wife ordered a poutine and she did not get a poutine she just got plain fries When we called to ask why we didn't receive our poutine They didn't seem to care to resurrect their mistake.so for that I will not ever order from Mike's pizza donair again and I will not be recommending this place to anyone else.
Pizza here is awesome.unfortunately many people think that “leftover fat” means bad pizza when it’s the exact opposite! “Greasy” pizza means this pizza place is using “REAL” mozzarella cheese.which should be applauded! It’s unfortunate when people seeking “healthy” food order pizza and complain when they get a real pizza and then complain about it, but hey, that seams to be the world we are now living in! There are plenty of trees to hug in our city so please, go hug one and STOP complaining about a restaurant who actually sells a product which IS the way it should be made!
Delicious pizza. Crust has great flavour and the cheese is of great quality. They place cheese as the last topping so if you like your toppings on top make sure to specify it. Next to Ricco's pizza this is the best pizza in eastern London and a great value. They pour on the cheese. No skimping on toppings. Their wings are also amazing
Pizza is awful. Recommended from our community (Thorndale) cheap mozzarella cheese, which is piled on. No flavour and that's a shame because this would have been my go to if it was decent. Save yourself the money and go the little Cesar's if you want cheap tasting pizzas and you will probably be happier than what is served there.
Hands down the best panzerotti's in London! Loads of fresh ingredients, lots of cheese that's not salty, best dough ever. Deliverd fast by a super freindly guy, could it be Mike? I ordered some poutine too, omg nailed it! Fries are perfectly done, loads of gravy and cheese. Made my Saturday movie night perfect! Thankyou
Extremely disappointed, pizza was bland and dry. Very little sauce if any at all, minimal toppings. Pizzas weren't fully cut leading to a mess when attempting to serve. Last time I had pizza this horrible, I was a five year old eating an English muffin with ketchup, processed cheese slices and sliced up hot dogs.
Called to order a donair pizza horrible customer service.it was 615 asked for pizza too be done for 7. I picked it up at 7 a d it tasted lime it was made at 615 and sat there for 45 mins.worst donair pizza I have ever had absolutely disgusting will never ever go back to this place
If cheese is your thing you WILL NOT be disappointed. The regular pie is so loaded with greasy goodness it would drown a lesser crust. I USUALLY order light cheese for a more balanced experience.
Pizza was so burnt, it looked like a vinyl record. I could've smashed a window with it, the pizza was so hard. The donair meat was like strips of leather, I didn't know whether to eat it or use it as a belt. Tossed the pizza out the seagulls in the parking lot, they wouldn't touch it. I won't be back.
Amazing pizza, I won't order from anywhere else in London! I first heard about them from "Pete & Stax" on Jack FM (now Bob FM) who went there to try a Nova Scotia donair and became addicted right away! My husband and I are both proud "Blue Noser's " from Nova Scotia so when we heard Stax give it a thumbs up on the radio, we knew we had to check it out and that we did.and the rest, as they say, is history. We found out that we used to go to their place in Nova Scotia but he had different people working there so we did not know it was the same pizza and donair place because there are donair places everywhere but they would be hard pressed to find any that are as tasty as Mike's!
Food is good I will admit that, go in for lunch today girl serving me doesn't even take out her headphones cause she is talking to someone on the phone. She looks beyond annoyed to serve me. Takes my order and then immediately makes it wrong. Proves she was not listening to me order and that my patronage was more annoying then welcome. Will not be coming back here for food every again.
We had the Donair Fries, loaded up with tender and delicious meat and slathered in sweet donair sauce. Fries were crispy and the whole package made for some incredible munch, with enough for leftovers. With the dearth of good poutine spots in London, this makes for a pretty great substitute!
If there was any more cheese on the pizza they would have to call it cheese with a sprinkling of crust. Panzaroti is huge, even the small. Always quick. Tastes great. The burgers are hard to eat. But only because of how big they are. Enjoy.
We had their pizza today. Added extra marinara sauce. This pizza reminds me of the first pizza hut pan pizza I had when I was 6 or 7. It brought in so many memories of family and childhood. I had tears of happiness after the first piece. My dad had saved up some money and got me my first pizza. I remember my mum was yelling at him because it was so expensive.thank you so much for making my childhood alive today. Simply delicious.
I ordered a pizza and garlic fingers I was not impressed. There was so much oil on the pizza it made a puddle in the cardboard box it came in. The garlic fingers were chewy and the donair sauce was watery. Very disappointed.
Wow disappointing donair ordered with cheese and the cheese was not melted whatsoever ontop of that the cold and uncooked donair fell apart after one bite, i did order a slice of the pizza as well and the pizza actually did taste good but unfortunately I had wasted over $10 on the donair so I will not be doing business here again and recommend taking the donair off of the title Mike’s pizza and donair
When I was a teenager, in the 1960's, the pizza toppings were 'generous' and there was no skimping on anything. All the pizza places were 'family' owned. Then the franchises came in and measured everything (toppings) in 'micro ounces'. Sure their pizza was cheaper, but their pizzas were and remain SO disappointing.
Buy your pizza from Mike's. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Mike's 'doesn't skimp on anything'. His place is family owned and operated, and Mike runs it himself. They make pizzat the way they serve it to their own family. Sure, Mike's costs a little more, BUT IT'S ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. After one Mike's pizza, you'll be hooked (and GLAD to be).
If you grew up in the 60's and remember what pizza is supposed to be, call Mike's. You won't be sorry.
We order from Mikes on Oakland for my employees, they love it, I’ve also ordered from Bradley location which is t as good. But not bad. Too much cheese for my kids. Good pizza and wings though.
I am from the Maritimes & the order from Skip the Dishes was less than I anticipated. I heard it's like from the Maritimes. The donair sauce was watery dripping off my garlic fingers. Disappointed I can't find donair like out east coast in London
