Excellent food, great ambience and amazing Customer Service (our server Gautami was fantastic). I can stay here for hours and just enjoy being here. Will definitely keep visiting.
I've been going here for years and years and am in love with the samosa chaats, kashmiri Chai's, faloodas and recently the madras coffees.
You want to know if a place is serious? Look at the amount of nuts they add into a kashmiri chai. These guys load it up and that's an expensive ingredient.
Seriously I think these guys are the gold standard of Indian street food.
Service wise, often I am waiting though for an order. That normally wouldn't be an issue, but I don't operate on Indian standard time. Setting expectations and under delivering is how you loose customers.
No complains regarding food. Everything taste good. I wish they can maintain the cleanliness of their establishment. This place always smell so bad that I am never able to eat there. Like someone else mentioned, the staff who make pan touch pretty much everything around while there are making pans and that included answering phones, taking cash etc. I really recommend keep up with proper hygiene and enforcing strict sanitation measures.
On August 28th, I ordered Pav-Bhaji with Crispy Bread through Uber.
Bread was indeed Crispy but Bhaji container was about 2/3 full which was very disappointing. (I have a picture but don't know how to post it.)
Prices have gone up for everything. I am hoping that at-least they would try their best to maintain Quality and Quantity!
I feel that the store is somehow responsible for reduced quantity but it would be nice if store can do something to secure food from pilferage and contamination, just to be sure. I repeat, I don't suspect the delivery driver for reduced quantity.
Tried chaat at Milan Mississauga today evening. I had Ragdi Chaat and cardamom tea. Chaat was tasty and fresh. Teas tasted good. Ambience is good. Service was Sooper fast. Overall I would definitely recommend evening snacks at Milan Mississauga.
I really love the taste of vada pav here. It's the best in Canada. I also loved Samosa chaat but there was too much tamarind chutney. So I asked for replacement and they did it without any further discussion. Really loved service and food after replacement. Must place to go for Indian fast food.
I was not really excited to visit Milan it's just close to our home. We have ordered lots of stuff for the family, tea, ice cream, chat pappri Masala Chai I can make way better than them.
Yesterday I bought one papri chaat from Milan and specifically Instructed them “not “ to put a lot of green sauce (chutney)! When I Came home and opened the box, was extemely shocked to see the chaat box was literally full of green sauce (chutney) and very less chick peas and absolutely no youghurt at all, where actually it is suppose have everything in the right amount and should be mixed well (because I have tried before and it was a lot better then this)! Extremely disappointed to see the workers are clearly not listening to the instructions given to them and irresponsibly doing the opposite of what they are told. The quality has definitely gone way too low. It was a go to place for me and my family and friends, after this Definitely not going there again!
Best chat place I have visited in Mississauga so far. I definitely feel nostalgic whenever I go there. Awesome food, lovely and lively ambience, graceful and humble staff, amazing hospitality, super reasonable rates, vast variety of options. I think it's more than enough reasons to recommend someone to visit this place whenever you crave chat.
Staff behind the counter were not properly masked as per Covid protocol and when we decided to eat inside the place, no one checked for a vaccine certificate. Won’t risk my health or that of our family if restaurants won’t take precautions.
Good varieties in indian light snacks. The prices were little bit higher then average Indian restaurant but its worth it at the end. I visited recently after restaurant interior got renovated and it feels more like family restaurant for quick bite. Staff was friendly and helpful to me during visit. Dabeli, Vadapaav and kachorichat are my recommendation. Obviously falooda and paan were good as desert too. Thank you.
Great place for chaats. It's as authentic we you can get. Only thing that was missing was the spice even at full spice level. But other than that, this place delivered it's promise!
My go to chaat place whenever I’m in Mississauga. I definitely recommend their papdri chaat however only order it when you’re dining in, take out doesn’t have the same spazaz.
Food was not served warm or fresh. When asked to change the server started giving excuses. Person in the front desk while taking orders didnt care to even wear a mask. Will not be visiting again.
I ordered misal and vada pav from here. Tasteless and so oily. Hire a Mumbaikar chef to make such items btr. Bombay bakers make better vada pav and misal.
This is the best place to go if anyone wants to eat indian street food such as dabeli, vada pau, pani puri etc. Me and my wife visit this place atleast 3 to 5 times a month. Service is great. Food quality is awesome.
Loved the kachori chaat and falooda (not overly sweet)! Bhel puri was a let down but I can't wait to try other items on their menu. This place comes very close to the street food in India!
The kulfi faloda is great. Could use a bit better organization and maybe new floors /decor. The deserts are why we come here and those are consistently good!
The samosa Chaat was great. You can choose between mild, medium and spicy. The sweet Paan was also amazing. Ordered sweet lassi and it tasted a little off but then the guy replaced it for free with Mango Lassi free of cost. Great customer service.
Kachori chat, sev puri and ragada Pattis all taste the same. No difference! The Pudina chutney tasted more like coconut chutney. Misal pav was not up to mark. Dabeli felt like bhaji in pav. Kulfi faluda was good.
Ordered samosa Chaat and ginger tea. Both of them were horrible in taste. I checked with them and they said the tea is machine made which explains the extremely strong taste and leaves a very bad after taste. It doesn't taste even 1% like ginger or tea. When you term yourself as a Mumbai based eatery, pls try to do justice.
Caused food poisoning after the Masala Tea, I think the milk was rotten. When I poured it in sink it was sticky. 3 stars cause when I visited earlier it was good.
Management should check in the expiry and storage issues
I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a delightful evening and the place was clearly one of the reasons for the outstanding event. The waiters collaborated in a graceful style, the meals were great and my friends were so cheerful. We shall no dout come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
Discovered this place accidentally and I am so glad we did! Have been their return customer ever since. Alu tikki chaat and masala chai is my favorite - all the flavors just hit the right note. Highly recommend.
Amazing! We had samosa chaat and another type of chaat, it was really good and level of spice was ideal. The kulfi falooda was an amazing end to my desi cravings. Definitely recommend it. I find it kinda pricey from other similar places tho
Yesterday I went to this place at around 7pm. I ordered paobhaji, mix chaat and dahi bhalla. Chat was awesome but the bhaji was not so good. I got disappointed by the bhaji but my friends liked it. Moreover, the two boys in the front were busy talking with each other. Only the girl on the chat was paying attention to us. My friend ordered a paobhaji to go and it took around 30 minutes to come. When the girl who was working inside brought the bhaji she didn’t even said sorry. The girl in the front apologized for the delay and according to me it was only her who was working yesterday. Everyone else were just talking and laughing.
Good place for chaat (Indian savory snacks & street food), paan, chai (India style tea), Kulfi, falooda and ice cream. Affordable prices and good consistent quality. Seating available. Self service. Parking easily available.
Hello Milan. Today I visited in afternoon with my big group of friends i enjoyed all food and everything in milan. I would like to give 5 start but I didn't. Because of less staff. Milan is very popular place for food. We came from Brampton specially. Every one was running and and we waited a lot for our food. And I appreciated staff of milan. They said sorry for waiting. Frankly speaking management should increase crew. It will be good for milan and customers as well. Thanks.
I have been a regular visitor to this place and love each and every item on their menu. The only item I haven't tried so far is their Falooda and is on my agenda for next time. I have also taken my non-Indian colleagues there and the mild version of all items is tolerable for everyone. Definitely recommend this place as a Indian street food joint.
I had Kashmiri tea from this place. It was good.however color of tea is not natural. I am not sure what is mixed in tea to get color but that was not real kishmiri tea. I will avoid it. Taste doesn't guarantee anything. Sorry.
Amazing place for chaat. I have been going there with my family for a while and never been disappointed with quality of food or service. Sometimes their order management becomes an issue during weekends but overall service is good. The long line up on weekends is the only thing that bothers me.
I have been to Milan several times. I have pretty much tried all the items on the menu. Consistency of the food taste varies every time so I sometimes have second thoughts going again. The mango ice cream is great, all the chat items are good such as dahi puri and bhel. I sometimes feel a little off when I have the chole or ragda. Today my dad ordered the ragda patis and the taste just wasn’t right, I finished most of his plate and he ate the dahi puri which was really good. The vada pav and dabeli is really good and I really wanted to order Samosas to go but they ran out of it around 8pm.
I saw the owner/manger interacting with the customers and guiding the staff which shows that he really cares about his restaurant.
The lady who was making the chats seemed like she didn’t want to be there but rest of the servers were super friendly and always smiling. Milan has great potential just wish they would stay consistent with the taste of their food.
I am in love with their Shahi falooda, it's an amazing drink, I especially drive all the way from the US to get this item here. This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in a corner of a busy plaza. They have amazing food/appetizers, place is clean, and customer service is exceptional. Once my drink didn't taste the same as it usual does & they provided me with excellent service.
Great chaat, Indian style. We tried the Dabeli, Pav Bhaji, Samosa chaat and chai. Super tasty, but a bit spicy (we ordered medium). Good portion size, and cheap! Definitely coming back!
I've been coming here for years since it first opened and by far the best falooda, chai (masala, elaichi, Kashmiri, etc) and chaat dishes. I've never tried their paan although I've seen entire parties of people come late into the night just to eat it. Great service and friendly staff - parking is sometimes an issue as it is located in a plaza and it can get busy but theres always a place to sit. I highly recommend this place for either a snack or a dessert after dinner. My family and I come here during Ramadan all the time.
When Milan Paan opened, it was impressive food quality. Last year I was very disappointed with the kulfi falooda. So decided to give it another try today. Now the quality of Chaat is terrible. Came here today for Chaat with a friend and ordered Chaar papri, Kachori Chaat and chai. Could not eat it. It was awful. Staff are disengaged, tables are left dirty and no proper supervision of food quality. It made me very sad.
Their Chaat Papdi is really good my family gets it quite often, one time after taking it home it didn't smell right, so came back and the staff was super friendly and offered to make us another one again. Definitely recommend!
