Milano Pizzeria

This was an awful experience. We ordered a medium pizza and pasta. First of all the pasta was left behind by the delivery driver. And he told us he is just the driver so we called the restaurant and they blamed the driver and and said another driver was on its way. This is the first time that I have ordered Milano's pizza and it will be the last. Their medium pizza is so small I thought it was a personal pan. When the pasta finally came. It was the original one that was just sitting under the heat lamp to dry up and get crusty. But their sorry excuse of can tomato sauce would have tasted bad no matter what. The garlic bread was hard as stone. I ask that time a customer tells you a mistake was made own up to it and prepare fresh food instead of serving garbage.

1 1/2 hour wait for delivery. Had to call the shop. Burnt popcords and pizza to trying to keep it warm. Very sad service. Will not order from this location again, and definitely not through them. I understand why third party delivery companies are so used and popular now.

I don't really like to complain about things, but I'm a regular at this location and I have been noticing the portions have been getting smaller for their poutines. I don't know if it's new management or what, but 7 whole deep fried cheescurds in a "Popcurd" poutine is absolutely absurd and the fry portions are about the same as you'd get in a small in a large. Poutine is absolutely delicious, but as I said, these portions are getting smaller and smaller.

No shade, great food, just questionable portions.

Ordered online. It was earlier than predicted. Hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The garlic sauce is chefs kiss!

Normally I've had no issues ordering from here in the past, i always liked their pizza and I'm really sad to give this review but tonight's pizza we ordered the dough or something was not well made which resulted to us being instantly sick.

Ordered online. Veggie nachos, Milano special, 6 donuts. Nachos were large, enough for three people. Very tasty, although, like all nachos, I wish they would layer chips, cheese, chips, cheese, toppings. Pizza was really good, substantial even for thin crust. The cinnamon donuts were a great little surprise. Highly recommend!

This is my favourite pizza and garlic dip. I drive to Kanata for it. Service has a bit to be desired but very yummy

Nice people working there. Food is always delicious. They also have a specialty poutine place to add even more variety!

Great pizza at good prices, I love the garlic dipping sauce. The delivery people are always awsome.

After picking up the food from the restaurant and the staff ensuring everything was on the order, I get home to realize the dips ordered were not included. This isn’t the issue. The issue was when I called to inform of the issue and request a refund of what they were offering, which was a credit of three dips, I was repeatedly told no, credit only no refund, only a refund for the one dip. This is terrible customer service and I will not be returning despite any attempts by management to rectify the situation, given management was given plenty of opportunities to rectify.

Food was good though, so one extra star for that.

Excellent place with well made pizza's. I go to a few different Milano locations across Ottawa and this one is by far the best one. Also the staff are very polite.

Subtracted one star because they do not do slices. Apart from that it was awesome pizza and helpful staff. Open late on a public holiday which saved the day! We had the milano’s special and it was great!

Waited over 10 minutes to pick up a take out order which was in plain sight. There were 3 employees working and all 3 of them saw me; but, neglected to give any attention to me at all. There was one employee who picked up the phone over serving a customer present in person. Within my 15+ years of customer service, I was always told to serve my patrons that were present and deal with virtual/telephone patrons after. I will not be returning to this location.

I usually order from the Merivale location but today I was Kanata and got donairs delivered. They barely had any meat in them. Was pretty disappointing. I always order extra sauce but with the amount of meat they gave it was like eating a wrap of sauce.

Spent $100 on 2 pizzas and 10 wings. Pizza is 100% SOGGY. Can't even pick it up. Never again
There's $100 I will never see again. Shame.

This is the best pizza place in kanata. Excellent customer service, they never mess up my order and they are quick to deliver. Highly recommended if your in the mood for good food and great service.

The St. Albert fried cheese curds are delicious, pizza is OK. Pricing is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

The crust was burnt and the topings under the cheese where uncooked. Would not recommend this location.

This is our go to pizza place at least 2x/month. We order between regular crust, thin crust, and gluten free crust and all are very good.

I had not ordered from them in a long time and will not be again. They forgot part of my order, and when I called to tell them there as no apology and then I had to wait another 45 minutes for it to come. Not impressed at all

Ordered pizza with 4 toppings, they put very little toppings on it. I felt like I was eating mostly crust with barely anything on it. I felt completely ripped off considering the ridiculous price they charge for their pizza. I don’t recommend ordering from them.

Lower quality than other Milano's I've tried, sadly. Ordered an XL pepperoni pizza on Friday night and it had barely any cheese on it. The biggest travesty is that this Milano's does not follow the same recipe for their garlic dip - this one was like a vinegary dill dip. The regular Milano's dip I've had at other places is my favourite garlic dip so I was super disappointed by this. Ordered some tater tots on the side and these were perfectly crispy and delicious. Overall, not worth the 50$ I spent on one pizza and some tater tots.

Picked up pizzas for lunch. Always delicious, always convenient! Thick crust for hubby, and gluten-free crust for me.

Horrible service. All we ordered was subs and they messed that up.subs were saugy. Tops were wrong. And there was more bread than toppings.wont be ordering here again

Great local pizza. We had the Milano's Special, minus the olives. It was hot, fresh and very tasty as always.

We have tried every place in the west end. They were friendly and their thin crust pizza is the best we’ve tried. They’ve gained two regulars!

We have been customers of milanos on Hazeldean rd Kanata for over 12 years. They have the best pizza. They are very generous with their toppings and always excellent quality. The staff and owner work very hard and are always friendly when I speed dial on my way home from work for a pick up order or call from home for delivery Thank you all. Marlene

I've had pizza from almost every pizza place in Ottawa. I stopped trying new places once I found Willy's Pizza in Kanata. My son insisted I try Milano pizza since it's been a couple of years since we have. So, we did tonight. Great reminder of why I stick to Willy's pizza. Milano pizza had SO much less cheese, much less flavor, less sauce and an overall disappointing pizza. I know it's a personal preference so I don't want to be too judgmental but we'll never order from Milano again.

Credit card won't work to order online. Also the chicken Caeser salad didn't come with chicken. Not the first time with getting the wrong food. Won't order again.

Ordered at 20 after 5, get my pizza at 645. Pizza was dried out and cold, driver had a bag full of deliveries that he was carrying around with him. Pizza is usually good but this one was not one of those times.

Our first time ordering, we waited over an hour and a half, had to fight for a discount, the manager was rude about it and the discount was minimal. They made the driver call them only once they got to our house so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes on hold, we sit down after all this time and the pizza is completely wrong

The taste of their pizza is pretty good, however I was a bit surprised at the price (expensive). The portions are a bit on the small size. The toppings are pretty generous and the crust is good, but there is lots of dough. I was happy that the pizza is not greasy which is always good.

Milanos pizza is consistent, it's great, I get the boneless bites also!:) big fan of Milanos on Hazeldean.

Good food, nice customer service but kitchen looks a little bit dirty and the prices are high. 3X more than other local pizza places.

Placed a order wanted the pizza with meat on the hole pizza with the onions and green and hot peppers on half pizza came wrong then they replaced the pizza only send the second pizza wrong how hard is it to make a pizza with meat on the hole pizza and the onions and peppers on the other half

Ordered from them last night and first off they took 1 hour to deliver a salad and a sub, when I called to inquire about the order the guy on the phone was very rude and gave no answers. The driver was very nice only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The food was ok but definitely not great. I do not recommend this place due to the service.
