Money grabbing institution with sub par education and growth for kids. Teachers are
great and friendly. Admin continuously changes and there is less focus on the quality of education and care children receive. No different than a day care, don't expect a Montessori level experience here.

My son started here when he was 11 months old and continued until he had to move on to Grade 1 elsewhere. Milestone was like his second home and for working parents like ourselves, it was blessing to know that he was in good hands. Only have the best things to say about this place - the patience, care, learning, discipline and the investment to each child's personal growth from all the staff was amazing.

We only have good things to say about Milestone Montessori. My son spent near 4 years there. The education level was high, great teachers, staff and management.
My son's teacher, when he was there, Ms Tettman, is absolutely the best he ever had.

They're definitely in the business of stealing your money! I've spoken to staff who have since moved on and they mentioned nothing but horrible stories about this place! They are not taken care of as the owner is greedy!

A perfect example of how a private instituition especially a private school must be run.

I found that they care more about getting your money, not the kids. The principal has favorite families that she will always look out for even at the cost of other children's health and safety.

Our daughter started Milestone in January 2019 and I am highly impressed by the professional and structure of the program. In that short time, our daughter’s vocabulary has expanded and she has shown great development with social skills. Milestone has an excellent program with lots of fun activities for the students that keeps them engaged. The school also engages parents by hosting events such as Curriculum and Show Me Night, as well as Parent’s Easter Craft Night. Thank you to her amazing teachers Ms. Unis and Ms Lone and the entire staff at Milestone. I never knew a 2 year old could enjoy school and learning so much.

Lovely teachers with heart to take care of kids.
It’s hard to having a teacher and staff with passion. My daughter from Jk to Sk. She loves go to school everyday. Can’t believe she has learn a lot of things from the school, especially speaking and reading. Hope this school can keep it up.

My child goes to Milestone Montessori and our family could not stressed this among our friends and family that this is the best school that we found so far. We have tried public, different montessori school and even some paid and free programs for our child but we never encountered such great staff, service and loving community as this place is.
I am sorry for that parent who gave a bad review and I want to address it here specifically about the fever issue. My son got sick and I didn't send him to school for that whole week which turned to be two weeks plus his recovery. I didn't send him to school as a respect and being considerate to other kids who are well in that facility. Nobody wants our kids to be sick but it happens and I expect other parents will be considerate as well if it happens to their kid. I am glad that the teachers will not bend to cater or try to please one parent in expense of other students. This is the kind of school that you would want your kid. I recommend this school I feel bad that the reviews doesn't give justice to how much this school deserves.
For parents who are curious and wondering if you should try to bring your kid here give them a visit and you see what I am talking about. You can even genuinely see form the parents and children's eyes that they are really satisfied and happy. One last thing, the teachers are NEVER EVER LAZY! NEVER! The activities they have for the kids are amazing! The tuition that we are paying is not even enough for all the efforts these teachers are pouring unto the children. I urge parent to talk to one of the staff if ever you are looking for a certified Montessori and you will experience a warmth, loving and just complete package school!

I have nothing short of wonderful praise for this school! My son has been fortunate in having such wonderful teachers. Tuition is a bit high but I see major development and progress in my child. I really like Milestone Montessori School. This school is a true growth and developement not only for the children but also for their employees. The director and the principal of this school encouraged and has send their RECE and non RECE teachers to go for their Montessori trainings. We truly thanks the school's admin for this great opportunity. In addition, this school is building great connections with the families through emails, Curriculum nights, arts ans crafts nights and much more. Each and every teacher work very hard and focus towards the complete developement of the child. I truly and sincerely recommend this school.

Some teachers there are very nagetive. They scared my child’s face permanently. They allowed a very careless parent let their child’s nail grow so long that he or she gave my son a very deep scar. They have this silly policy about keeping your child home for a day if he/she develop s a fever. This is silly because your kid only develops a fever at their facility. We are not paying thousands of dollars for the kid to be sent home because teacher are too lazy to their jobs. I can go on and on.

If there is a ten, I will give ten for Milestone Montessori!
It took me few months to write this review but though no words will ever justify what I am going to say here I hope it will somehow help others who are looking for a school who had caring, compassion, fun and education packaged together. I was looking through Montessori in my area in Pickering school that has 5 star and very good review. One of the things that led me to Milestone was a nice play area and classrooms based on the pictures on their website. When I called to inquire the person who answered was very professional. I checked them out at Montessori website if they are legit and I was happy to know that they are listed at the Montessori certified.
My husband and I were kind of picky at this point because of previous experience that we had gone through so we had questions and we were skeptical in general.
Their principal Ms G, was a young, vibrant very intelligent person. She answered all our questions.
I would say that this summer was our best so far. My son who was 3 and a half turned from shy and quiet to vibrant little boy. He would come home and sing, dance or read books. It only shows that he sees it as fun rather a task. I knew he received love, care and proper attention from his teachers and friends. Sometimes I hide in a corner curious to see what he was doing and I am so happy to see him like he is just at home. I remember once I picked him up early he is walking with his friends in the hallway with the teacher and he pushed me because he didn't want to go home. Even during the weekends he would asked us to drive him to school. The highlight of his summer was Ms. Stacey. He hasn't forgotten her since. When we see a yellow car we would all looked to see maybe it's his teacher that he always mentioned before sleep, before leaving for school and in our family prayers. Ms Stacy was the one who sat him on her lap on the first day when he was hesitant to go in. Ms Stacey rubbed his back when he wont sleep during nap. Now, he would pretend play in our house and would ask us to do the same. His love for art developed more because of those fun arts and crafts activities they did during summer. Special mention to Ms R, the sweet and always smiling teacher who would make sure my son gets his breakfast in the morning and it is a surprise he eats a lot at school.

Transitioning him to JK was a little bit emotional for us because he has to go to the school just at the back of our house. However, first week was rough and tough for him. He had a really hard time and nobody assisted him in the toilet nor during lunch. The third day my son came home didn't have any lunch, exhausted and the word he said ''Mommy, water'' and looking really tired. My heart was broken and so we decided to take him back to Milestone. Though it's a 25 minute drive from our place it's the best decision that we made for our one and only son.
I am very thankful to Ms Farrel, Ms. Chouhdary and to the rest of the staff who are very professional, nurturing, honest, caring the list goes on and on. Thank you for taking the extra mile to help my son. Toileting had been quite an issue for us because my son will only go to the washroom at home. He would prefer to pee in his pants rather than say it or go to the public toilet. But his teachers were so patient to go through all the accidents and still be gentle in assisting him. Second week of school and he was already going to the washroom all by himself and actually he is so independent now with it.
Thank you also to Ms Jessica who always has a big smile she makes sure she says hi to him.
For parents out there, who are looking for a school that really has a family feel go to this school. This school is a complete package. Everyone holds each other accountable, very honest (they will tell you exactly how your son's day had been), non judgemental (they wont force or expect something for your child to do if he is not ready, they are very strategic with how they teach (that's why I think my son loves it). We super love Milestone!

I strongly recommend this school as it truly cares about a child's developement and growth. My son started at 18months and we have seen a significant improvement in his language and motor skills. The staff are well knowledgeable and extremely professional. I love this school and how it has helped my child! Thank you Milestone! Keep up the great work!

One of the teachers named Ashely in this school was very impatient with the children and often shouted at them。The teacher was at TenderYear daycare before，my daughter was in Tender Year daycare since her 3 years old, and I saw with my own eyes a very vicious accusation against a boy and pointed her finger at his face when I picked up my daughter that day

My daughter told me that teachers yell at her for no reason. At noon, if my daughter doesn't close her eyes, she's going to yell at her. My daughter does not want to go to school at that time，she feel worried about being told to go to school every day。

They seem to return emails at a snail’s pace. Website indicates you can email for tours.but they don’t seem to want to work with the parent to arrange appointments that are maybe a few weeks later. I never heard back from my last email. I guess when they have so much “business “ knocking at their door, why bother with the little potatoes like us.

My daughter has been attending this school since it was opened. We have done tons of research and short story this is the only montessori in Ajax that is pending accreditation. All the other montessoris in the area are not accredited which makes a huge difference. The ministry visits milestones on a regular basis and they must adhere to the standards. My child has learned so much from this school and although it is expensive, I would say that it is definitely worth every penny. The school is clean, and organized. Another thing to note when shopping around is that the teachers at this school are both ECE and Montessori certified. Other montessoris simply have ECE and assistants. This means they are not trained in the montessori methods. People are using the name "montessori" but they are not accredited or have teachers that have been educated in this space. When doing your homework, ask schools if they are accredited and the credentials of their teachers. Milestones Ajax teachers are amazing! Thank you
