Very rude staff.

I showed up with my girlfriend and she's not been in Canada long and wanted to a really out there Kawartha dairy flavour.

The woman was very rude
1) who is cash only in 2023 and doesn't advertise it online on her social media?
2) " cash only sorry for the inconvenience " is kind of condescending because it's a choice to inconvenience people
3) Don't be rude to people who only use apple or Google pay.
4) it'd of been okay if it wasn't for her rude dismissive attitude and unwelcoming

I would avoid this place even if I carried cash after my experience.

Ordered a waffle cone and when I ask for a spoon I was rejected.seriously? It is just a spoon.the women said you cannot have a spoon because it is a waffle cone.cannot understand why.is there any law about this? Rude service.avoid this place!

Such a cute little part of Orangeville. It's my favorite place to get ice cream. Service is always great.

The ice cream isn't what it use to be.
Service has gone way down hill.
Wayyyy too expensive for icecream.
$20 for 3 people for 1 scoop in a baby cone.
Won't be going back unless you lower your prices.

I honestly loved this place. They were always pretty generous with the ice cream and the last two times I've went it's been so disappointing. My $5 scoop of ice cream was so small that I felt the need to buy another scoop. We also got ice cream for my sick stepdad who is almost not with us anymore but they couldn't provide us with lids because they didn't have them. When asking for another cup to put on top the owner replied with that will cost you a $1.70 For a cup a $1.70 when you weren't able to provide us with a lids in the first place so we brought home melted ice cream and I've now bought two rounds of ice cream. We spent around $40 in total with the people that we brought and she couldn't give us an extra cup. I also find the customer service to seem quite rude recently. I honestly love Kawartha dairy ice cream and I normally stop in there every time I visit Orangeville. Unfortunately I can't bring my money there anymore, although I'm sure it doesn't matter to them because they know they are one of the only ice cream places in town.

We LOVE the Kawartha ice cream! Always our favorite place to go for deliciousness. You can sit inside or outside in the Comfy chairs.

Service was great there! And the food was awesome a must try if you are around the town. They got the best ice creams and milkshakes in the town.

The prices are crazy!
We got 5 ice creams kiddy scoop on a cone with a cup on the side as we have kids that are under 3! And can spill … and it was short of $50.

They don’t have the prices posted, so you never know how much we were going to pay

When I asked the lady what the price was she told me that it’s an extra$2 if you want a normal sugar cone if we don’t take it in a cup with such horrible attitude.
I don’t understand why she would charge me extra for a cone, that’s part of giving out ice cream the cone part!

Outrageous!
Then a few hours after eating we got food poisoning.
The ice cream must of been from last years batch and we all got badly sick.
Would Never recommend!

Nice place to relax and have a icecream or sandwich. Run by some very wonderful people. Bring the kids for an icecream in the warmer months and then check out the discount place next door for some decent deals on all sorts of things including furniture. Place is also run by the same people from the icecream place.

I went here today for the first time. I wanted a place that would have great Ice cream without the big chain feel. Walking in made you feel like home, just a nice cozy feeling. The ice cream is sooo good. I got a 3 scoop cookie dough in a cup and you can honestly share it (I didn't I ate everything). Soo good I ate it in the parking lot. Im guessing it was the owner that was there, we spoke for a bit after I got my ice cream and It was a pleasant experience. I will be coming back for sure.

I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday. Heavenly Hash & Salted Caramel. Turned out perfectly, delicious! Will definitely be back!

The horrible customer service at this place takes away completely from the amazing ambiance and decor. It has the potential to be something great but the staff selling ice cream killed it. How can a person serving ice cream can be Rude and unwelcoming! Asked her if I can have a spoon with my waffle cone she said no, only if i order cup I can have a spoon. Seriously? You cant give a few cents worth of plastic spoon if $14 order! Pathetic. There are millions of places to get ice creams, so please just avoid this place.
