I treated a relative coming from overseas to a spa day here and it was shockingly terrible. From the start, the spa refused to accommodate the fact we'd be 10 mins late based on traffic, instead was told this would cut into our treatments. The spa is dilapidated. Dirty doors, paint chips coming off walls, soap dispenser in shower fell off the wall with one touch. The outdoor "hot tub" was not heated properly and we both had to leave after 10 mins to seek warmth. The indoor pool is very unappealing and is similar to a goodlife gym. The lunch area and locker area are visually very unpleasant and looks like it has not been updated since built. The treatment (facial) was pretty standard but the lady performing my treatment was clearly very ill and should have been at home and not 5 inches from my face. All in all, I was very embarrassed to have brought my relative here. I am truly shocked this place gets any business. A massive waste of money.

I went to the milcroft spa just before Christmas with my daughters. I had been before and thought it would be a nice holiday treat. However I was not impressed.the pool's were cold (they had issued that day which made them barely warm but never informed us prior to arrival), the pedicure was quick and underwhelming for a spa, the warm pool was dirty (leaves in the pool in December?), and there were children playing in the pools.not the relaxing atmosphere I expected. Worst part. I emailed the spa expecting an apology and never received a reply. I will not go back now.

Spent a few day’s here. Left expensive sunglasses in the room and they disappeared. I realize this is a rather strong allegation but I’m more than certain the staff helped themselves to them.

The rooms are entered with keys, no cameras so its easy.

If you go there lock up your stuff.

My husband and I just returned from a very romantic weekend away here. We stayed in a Croft room with hot tub. I kept saying everything was 10/10. My husband gave it a 9/10. Our room was far from the parking lot but made up for that in privacy. Our bathtub and toilet were so white and clean! The hot tub, so clean! I’m not sure if they clean them every day, but ours felt like it was very clean the first and second night which was so nice and inviting. Every employee encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing. We found the outdoor pools clean too. Sure the cold plunge had chipped paint, but I wasn’t bothered by it, I would only be in there for 5 seconds anyway.

Things I would suggest improving: really would have been nice if the gate to the pools Infront of our room was open during the day. And definitely keep it child free spa! The sauna was small and the steam room was broken. If they don’t clean the private hot tubs daily they should, but it was clean anyway. On the last day we saw someone servicing them and we asked but he said he just topped it up. It was so clean I thought they were cleaning them so I’m not entirely sure, but they should between guests. Otherwise, none of these small things ruined our experience. It was clean, employees were friendly and helpful, food was good! I wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe a few more vegetarian options on the menu would be nice. Without mushrooms lol but still 5 stars!

Sent the wife there to rejuvenate and a change of pace after 15 months at home. She loved it and we'll definitely be back together.

Brilliant experience. Loved the food and the facilities were amazing.

Room was a bit rundown. Gave that feedback but no response. The restaurant is amazing but be warned, it's pricey. Grounds are lovely. Trails are great for a walk and some activity. The waters and massage were good as well. I'd like to try again. Hopefully room is better next time.

I am quite disappointed at the fact that I cannot book a spa day for my mom's 65th birthday unless I stay overnight. Wow talk about money hungry. I have been going to this spa every 6 months and now this policy.well you just lost a loyal customer.

Great food at their restaurant and the rooms are cosy! A little expensive for what you get in the croft rooms as they could offer more amenities in the pool area. Nonetheless a relaxing spot not too far from the city!

Chef James is one of the most humble people you'll come across. Headwaters restaurant is one of the hidden gems which people don't really know about as it's a hidden Paradise. Customer service and the food quality is second to none and when chef cooks for you personally it's always a special treat. Food is very elegant in presentation and tastes like luxury in your mouth. Will be coming back here very soon.

Beautiful spot, wonderful staff. Lots of spa services. At least five pools to choose from at a variety of temperatures.
A few short hikes on the premises.
Room was spacious. Chair in room was elegant but uncomfortable.
Dinner was beautiful and tasty albeit a little pricey.

Beautiful setting, excellent kitchen, friendly staff. Pools are very nice but wish they were open a bit later than 9 pm. Nice trails around.

This is an absolutely stunning setting for the wedding. It is in a quiet little town, peaceful and serene.

I visited Millcroft Spa today. I totally enjoyed the scenery as I drove in I felt relaxed and excited. It’s very beautiful, clean and most of all the place to feel and be relaxed. I booked a massage, My therapist Aj was great. He quickly could identify where I felt pain, that made me very comfortable and I will be going back to make this place apart of my “GO TO LIST” for sure.
