Great experience and view of the lake, rooms were nice and tidy. Staff was wonderful. My 5 year old had great fun. Will definitely be back!

This campground is great for families and couples alike. Their facilities are always clean, and they have parks and the lake for those to enjoy.
They also have some water sports for rent! Only 40 minutes to Tobermory and are tucked away from busy roads.
Staff are always a delight when we go!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with our dogs. They cabins are a little rustic but are clean and have everything you need. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is amazing. Would definitely go back again.

The view and location are amazing. Starting the day with watching the sunrise on Miller’s Lake is priceless. Renting boats and kayaks are affordable. Cottages are not new, but fairly clean.

Unreal property, amazing lake, lots of activities and the staff was super friendly! Can’t wait to go back!

I have been coming to Miller Lake for 44 years (my entire life). It is the perfect family getaway for us - basic enough to enable us to unplug and distance ourselves from chaotic city life, but comfortable enough to allow us to relax and unwind. The cottage arrangement allows the kids to run around 'free' but still remain within sight. We commune with friends in other cabins and have giant picnics and campfires every night. There are beautiful Georgian Bay and Lake Huron swimming and hiking opportunities a short drive away. It's consistently the highlight of our year. We love Miller Lake!

Absolutely the best place to vacation. The owners and employees are fantastic. It's clean and well kept.

My party of 6 avid hikers just spent the past weekend at Miller's Family Camp and had an awesome time. We found the location of the camp site handy to most of the Bruce Trails and Tobermory. As an older active group we enjoyed the relaxing and quiet time to unwind and disconnect. A number of the members of my group had never stayed in a rustic cabin or even camped in their lives, so it was an experience that they will not forget. I rented the 4 bedroom cottage with lake front view, which comes with a shower, as I knew my party (city people) would not be able to live without their shower or the amenities of home. As a former Scout leader I also go prepared for any and all situations. The cottages are as their ad describes clean and basic. You need to make sure to pack all bedding, towels including kitchen towels. There are very few dishes, so I took all my own camping dishes and pots and pans including my BBQ, chairs and hatchet for cutting wood. There is no tv, so make sure to pack board games and the cards to play in the evening when it rains. If you are the type of person who likes to party loud until all hours or requires 5 star service and needs to be waited on, this is not the place for you. It is a quiet family campground with various water activities for kids. Enjoy, we did!

Wonderful little family-run camp site. We were here as part of a larger group, and had one of the smaller 1-bedroom cabins (#11). The facilities are modest but everything was clean and in good working order. Bring your own sheets and blankets. Running cold water in the cabins, and hot showers just across the road. We brought a few extra pots and utensils of our own, which helped, although basic kitchen gear is provided. The staff were friendly and helpful; if you're missing something, just ask! It's a great place for kids, friends, campfires, canoes, and stargazing. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a place to stay while you explore the Bruce Peninsula we would highly recommend Miller's Family Camp.

Great camp sites, children's beach and playground, and lake for fishing/boating.
Liked it so much that we bought a seasonal trailer site. Owners and staff are exceptional. Many wilderness activities on the Bruce Peninsula.

Stayed here for a week with my daughter, amazing staff and beautiful views! Lots to do as well! Cottages comfortable and if you need any other cooking supplies then the basic provided they are happy to give them! The week went too fast, hope to make it here again someday:)

This is my second time here. The staff are friendly and the camp ground offers something for everyone. If you want fully serviced spots they have them. If you want trees and privacy they have that too. The lake is beautiful and it is truly a family friendly atmosphere. Anyone looking to build great memories should look no further. Close to grotto, and loads of other great day trip activities.

Just finished a few nights here with our 3 kids. The park is kept very clean, a lot of things to do for the kids. Mosquitoes were pretty bad. A great place for a family vacay!

We have been making memories for the past 18 years at Miller's Family Camp and this place has become our family tradition! My family stayed in Cabin #11 (1 bedroom) this past weekend. It was bigger than I had expected, which was nice. We had room for a single air bed in the kitchen. The cottage was clean and had the basic kitchen necessities. We had a beautiful view of the lake. My kids got to go out fishing and caught bass, pickerel and pike, which was a bonus! The only thing that would have made this cabin better, would have been a fire pit that was closer to the cabin and not down by the water. I've read the other comments about the deposit being a scam, I don't think this is necessarily true. I swept the floor and wiped the counters as stated and the rules and got 100% of my deposit back the following day. I am definitely going to come back!

My family rented 2 cottages. The inside was very well kept and clean. Mostly everything we needed was provided except for pillows and blankets. We had the best time. Very nice and relaxing weekend was had by all. Will definitely go back!

What a great wkd we had in cabin #8. Thurs-Sun. 3 friends and a small dog. The cabin was clean inside and out. They were literally sweeping cobwebs off the outside of the cabins and cleaning up goose droppings by the lake. Having electricity, and a washroom (with toilet!), a large fridge, two beds and a futon (all of which were pretty comfortable) made for a comfortable, cozy weekend. Also affordable. ~25min to drive to hike The Grotto and a lil bit further to Tobermory. We had gorgeous weather and a nice relaxing visit. Will be back.

This is a super place for lake activities. We had a wonderful stay and had some great fishing. The cottages were clean and provided everything needed. I would recommend a stay here for sure.

I do not typically leave feedback but the experience at The Miller's cottage have me inclined to give negative feedback so here it is.giving deposit to this cottage is scam they already have mind setup not to give full deposit back. There needs be some valid reason if deposit is going be held up. Owner mentioned that that she heard night guard story which is completely false stating we didn't park our cars properly and that is why deposit was held. I would not recommend my friends and family going to Miller family camp.

It started out well but it turned quite ugly towards the end with malafide intentions of the staff and management coming to light. Okay, the good things first.

PROS: The location is good, lake is serene and boating facilities are nice and good views. And, that's about it.

CONS: 1) The rooms were quite old, cold and gloomy. No good upkeep of the cottages from inside. My family saw insects and cockroaches inside the rooms and common areas. Not a safe place if you want to come with your kids.

2) The washrooms system is messy and no ventilation whatsoever.

3) The resort is dark and no working lights outside the cottages. Some have bulbs and other cottages have no lights or working lights on the exterior side. Makes it extremely difficult to navigate between cottages. We had booked 3 cottages for our whole group and it was very inconvenient.

4) Worst of all, the deceitful intentions of the owners and staff! They will eat up your so called 'security deposit' with silly reasons. So if you still dare to have your stay here, please consider the security deposit as a part of your room and stay charges. DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE REFUNDED BACK TO YOU. They have all the tricks up their sleeve with fake stories from their other shift staff and excuses not to return you the full deposit after you have checked out and left.

They will give reasons of noise and parking and what not to keep your deposit. There is no parking area defined or marked on the ground and we kept our cars in front of our cottages as directed by them to ensure none of the ways are blocked. Still, they gave such frivolous reasons to keep the security deposit.

I mean, security deposit is only taken to repair any damage etc.if done to their property so they can use those funds to repair and make it good. How are they going to make good the so called 'incorrect' parking with the security deposit? It is just to fill up their greedy pockets. That's such a cheap thing to do.

The management is wrongly damaging their reputation and credibility in otherwise a beautiful location just for making some petty money and fulfilling their greed by retaining the so called 'refundable security deposit'. They can just increase the rates if they want more money by adding the security deposit in the rates! Why to be so cunning? This is the day and age of transparency and that would take you more higher than such acts. I hardly remember giving anyone a low rating, but this dishonesty just irks me. You just lost a prospective regular client as I am an avid traveler and love such places.

The cottage rental is scam, worst ever experience. Cottage are messy, toilets are filthy, no ventilation. Appliances do not work. No heating and freezing temperature with no fire woods. Security guard ruined over visit and created false story for the owner. Owner did not pay 50% deposit even though we were promised. As per their policy we were supposed to be paid in 48 hours but we got 50% after 4 days. False story was framed to get the deposit, cottage rental is fraud. I would not recommend for anyone to go there.

Check the reviews posted below they are self made review to boost rating which is again fraud.

Update to the reply: We had always followed all the rules. You took our deposit for the reason that cars were not parked properly and infact we have the pictures to prove otherwise and We did spoke with you. Very disappointed, instead of admiting mistake, writing response. My view still remains same, fraudulent camp site and betrayed our trust. You ruined our entire visit with the foresaid reasons. You lost trust of our family and all our friends. Keep our deposit and have fun

Great place to stay. Cottage was clean. Specially the receptionist Lindsay, super friendly and helpful.

It's a mix bag. Except good location & scenic views, no other things that are really worth mentioning. Couple of downsides:
1. The cottages were not clean
2. We spotted cockroaches
3. There are no parking spots marked (so we parked near cottage to offload luggage). Later on they fined us, consuming our 50% deposit citing this reason. We told the guards politely that we will move the cars as per their direction and we did that. Still - the charges were applied. Seemed like some scam; how can you deduct from deposit for car parking? Deposit can be adjusted against any damages that may have been done, which were none. The language they use on their website is - The security deposit will be refunded (if eligible) at check out time or within 48 hours of check out. "If eligible" very well explains their motives.
4. Washer/ Dryer were pathetic - they were not working properly
5. Bringing blankets/ bedsheets/ pillows/ pillow covers - make sure you are okay to carry them all. This will mean some luggage and hence do check double times with security guards on where to park your car to avoid fines.

It was a great weekend. It is truly a family campground where the rules are adhered it. It brought back many childhood memories. Thanks for the great customer service. I would highly recommend!

We had a nice family trip and stayed in the cabins. The cabins are rustic and simple - which makes for a quiet and simple vacation. The staff were kind and we will go back.

Great campground! Had a great experience. Love that each site had a designated garage and recycle that was collect daily! Thank you guys!

We were here last year and this year and it's a great camping experience. We will be returning again. It's a great getaway.

To Miller family camp and staff we appreciate everything you have done for us and allowing us to get married up here at the camp it is a great place to camp and a home away from home you always make on time here great and the staff is always friendly and I would highly recommend Miller camp to anyone thanks from Darryl and Christina

There was a man we got wood to burn and then we forgot to bring back the wagon we said sorry and we forgot and he said no u didn't and people gave us mean glares.

We have been going every year for more than 5 years. Cabins are clean. Service is great. Little store has just what you forget.

And most years we even catch a fish or two.

Our children enjoy the little beach and fishing from the dock.

Family friendly—everyone quiets down at a decent hour.

Tried paddle boarding this year. Nice cabins on a beautiful peaceful lake. Owners are very friendly and accommodating

Myself and 6 other of my 21 year old University friends went to this campground looking to have a nice place to camp in the area. Unfortunately, the way we were treated was worthy of a 1 star review. We were basically told we could not talk after 11 and then they came over and dumped water on our fire at 12. The camp staff would consistently come by and tell us to be quiet, meanwhile we can hear other people making way more noise than us just up the road. That trailer was permanent so I guess they only treat the weekend visitors like this. We walked around to see several other people still had their fires going. We then moved into an open field and got snuck up on by some random guy with a red flashlight who did not announce themselves. To be quiet honest it was nerve-racking the way that he had approached us. If you are looking for a campsite where you can have a conversation and a fire late at night, this is not the place. I do NOT recommend coming here if you are under the age of 30 and have no kids you are bringing with you. Its safe to say that I will not be going back to camp no fun ever again.

Love this campground. Its so cozy, everyone is really nice. Makes you feel right at home! Close to a beautiful lake with boat rentals and lots to do for all ages.

Cleanest bathrooms I've EVER seen on a campground in the middle of the woods. Not a spec of dirt or spiderweb in sight lol, and the hot water stays HOT. Laundry on site as well.
Close to Tobermory was a plus!

It's a perfect home away from home for our summers. Parents here for 42+ years and we've been here for going on 6 as we bought back my parents trailer. Many beautiful friends and always look forward to the spring for coming back to see everyone again. It was a Covid 19 year in 2020 which was a very different thing to contend with, however, we all did it with flying colors. Thanks to Lindsay, Aarron, Steven, Bev, Allan, Brenda, Lisa and others that I don't know their names - we had an awesome summer.

Minutes to breathtaking views and trails for blissen out and bathing in Mama Nature!

Campsites were spacious and nicely shaded. The beach was nice and the water was warm. Shower costs $0.25 for 5mins which is reasonable in my opinion. We had some annoying neighbours, but not bad enough to let the management know. 30 mins to tobermory or other Bruce Peninsula National park trails.

Definitely a great place for the family, very clean, nice staff and quiet at night And would go back forsure!

If I had to make to complain about something it would only be that we couldn't find our site right away because there was no letter but hey we found it

The staff are friendly and helpful. I was there in the last week of September and the camp was very quiet. The washrooms and showers were clean. There is a 25 cent charge for the shower, but it's well worth it! The water pressure is great and the time for a quarter is generous. I've had lots of free showers at campgrounds where I would have gladly paid a quarter for a shower this good.

A beautiful campsite for family! The staff are really sweet and nice. They accomodate me really well without problem with kidness! Love the place!

Friendly atmosphere, the staff were a great bunch of people - the cleanest campground I have ever been to (even the outhouses were clean) My family and I had a fantastic time and look forward to our next visit. Oh yes, the night sky was amazing

We got the biggest cottage for Canada day/2018. Great experience, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I'd recommend and definitely would go back.

Washrooms were not cleaned the whole week we were there and are absolutely disgusting
Terrible place I don't know how they even stay in business my guess is the retirement community that is the majority of the campground God forbid you sing around the fire at 8 o'clock at night or they will complain and the creepy maintenance man will jump out of the bushes at you

Very clean and well kept cottages in a great location. What made the biggest difference was how accommodating they were. I was going with a few friends and one of them was delayed by an emergency so we didn't get a chance to leave Toronto until 6 pm which meant we arrived at Millers by 10.30, which was way past the check in time and past the time their front desk was to remain open. We called on the way and explained and they were extremely accomodating despite the incovenience to them. They left instructions on how to find our cottage and were very helpful. Overall their service was absolutely great.
