I went to get teeth hygiene today. Since I didn't have insurance, I asked them the price and they quoted a very reasonable price. After reconfirming, I went to the hygienist. She did half my teeth and when I went to the reception to rebook, they had charged me a high amount and wanted me to come back for the second half of the treatment, which would cost even more (as per the receptionist). The price was incredibly inflated and unjust.
My teeth are not that dirty, and I did not have any deep pockets or excessive subgingival calculus.
If u have to pay out of pocket plz find some other, more honest professional!

My TMJ pain and swelling would not let me function daily before Dr Rick Soordhar made me his custom mouth guard. It has been a game changer and I truly wish I was referred to him sooner. Although going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do, everyone at Oasis Dental are always so pleasant. Dr Vick is so knowledgeable and actually cares! My own experience was really professional, I got a regular cleaning and the hygienist was really patient in explaining what was happening and what I should do to keep good hygiene. The scheduling process and reminders they send you are all really easy and they process the payment through insurance for you.

Had a great first visit at Oasis Dental. The exam was very thorough and Dr Vick took the time to explain treatment options and answered all my questions. I don't think many dentists go into such depth in examining (not just limited to teeth, but the entire mouth, jaw, swallow and addressing any underlying issues that otherwise would have been ignored). His knowledge and experience made me comfortable knowing I am in good hands! The staff were also wonderful! Although dental work isn't something I look forward to, I am glad to have visited here and will be coming back for future treatments!
Update: My first cleaning with Raj was great - she made sure I was comfortable and made me feel less nervous. She gave some excellent advice - now I always hear her voice everytime I floss, haha! Thank you! =)

Dr. Rick at Oasis Dental is amazing - he is extremely thorough, detail oriented, and takes a holistic approach to patient care. I sought out Oasis Dental when I was having a LOT of facial pain and convinced I had TMJ. Before I was scheduled for an exam, Dr. Rick provided a referral to a chiropractor (to assist with facial pain) and taught me a great deal about TMJ. When Dr. Rick examined me, he determined my pain was an infection after a crown procedure (with another dentist). I have a deep dental phobia and Dr. Rick was very careful about my sedation options and provided thorough detailed information about my care plan before anything occurred. Dr. Rick has also seen my father for a dental emergency and provided the same high level of care for him. I am very comforted that Dr. Rick is leading my (and my father's) dental care. Since becoming a patient of Oasis Dental, I'm now able to undergo dental procedures with a pill sedative rather than an IV sedative - for the first time in about 20 years!

My dental hygienist Raj and Dr. Rick are friendly, informative, caring and the best dentist I have ever had!

I had a dental emergency (filling fell out). They were able to accommodate me, and replaced it the same day. The dentist skipped his lunch in order to squeeze me in. It was quick and painless. Keep up the good work!

I just had gum grafting done here yesterday and all I can say is they are amazing! Dr. Soordhar, not only took the time with me to explain everything, he also called me that night to see how I was doing! Who even does that anymore!? You can tell that they really care about their patients and their well being!

I've done 1 quadrant and will definitely be back to do the other 3 with Oasis dental. They do an allograph approach which is much more less invasive than using the roof of your mouth. I went to 1 periodontist "specialist" in Oakville and I was disgusted with their bedside manner and their "drive-thru" approach. A 10 minute meeting where they just matter of fact told me what they would be doing, left me dazed and confused and out $200 when I left.

If you need to get gum grafting done, Dr. Soordhar and Oasis dental is the place to go! He is so kind, friendly and experienced. You won't be disappointed.

Dr Rick is truly an implant specialist I’m soo happy with the results honestly went beyond my expectations. I can finally smile and show my teeth without feeling ashamed thank you Dr Rick for everything.

I went to Oasis Dental after reading their approach to sinus lifts (they can do an internal, less intrusive approach). I also wanted a second opinion on my teeth as the dentist I was going to seemed to be drilling and filling away and over aggressive in their approach.

So I went in for the sinus lift consult and also decided to get a second opinion while going through the process.

Dr Rick Soordhar did a new patient exam. He examined me for a full hour and then provided me what needs to be fixed now (a cavity) and laid out a plan for what we need to keep an eye on in the future.

He was also very careful in how to proceed with the sinus lift, and contacted me several times on the weekend and evenings

One of the neat things is showing me after taking digital scans how my implant would look on his monitor

So state of the art and consultative, but also very careful.

I am glad I went for a second opinion.it's now going to be my first opinion moving forward.

Five years ago I had an implant done by doctor Anil. Everything went fine and I am very happy with the implant that I had done.

I went to Dr. Anil, on Sept 1/16 for a tooth extraction of a cracked tooth that I had a root canal done on, 38 years ago. The procedure consisted of the extraction and a bone graft for a dental implant on my lower front tooth. The procedure went great. I didn't experience any pain. The Staff were great and friendly. Dr Anil, reviewed the whole procedure to prepare me prior to getting this done. I went back Oct 1/16 for a follow up and to have the stitches out. It has healed up great. Dr Anil has a great bed side manor and explains everything throughly. I feel confident that I am in good hands and recommend Oasis Dental.
