A large campground maintained with electricity, water, sewage. The sanitary rooms are large and clean. Unfortunately the pool was empty. We drove 25 km to Brode in the camper. There are plenty of free P&R parking spaces at the train station. The train goes directly to Union Station in Toronto. The biggest drawback is the noise from the highway. This lasts all night long.

Very rude unprofessional. My job requires me to remove and deliver trailers from and off camp grounds and that’s exactly what I was required to do at this campsite upon arrival I went into the office to inform them I’m here to pick up a trailer I will not call her a lady because she did not represent herself as a lady she was very rude and unprofessional with a demanding attitude I did not appreciate. Besides that it’s just a boring camp ground with nothing else no play area for kids nothing exciting to see not even a little river or something just a boring campground with a rude employer

Honestly the best campground around! The owners and staff are beyond accommodating.
The property is well kept and the location is perfect for those looking to explore the GTA and surrounding area.
Nestled in a peaceful, picturesque landscape with several trails minutes away!
We highly recommend Milton Heights Campground!

Absolutely the beautiful park!

Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Milton Hights Camp Ground has been our go to Camp Ground for many years, that we've been RVing it's one of the most beautiful in Halton hills and with her great staff it's always a pleasure for us to visit them and camp there plus, it's the only campground that's open year-round with deep water access points.
Their water is so tasty. It comes from a deep well and filtered perfectly with modern filtering equipment.
You can't go wrong going to Milton Hights

Our experience camping at Milton Heights campground was not a positive one. It is an ok campground with limited facilities.

The site was uneven, the sites really need some improvements and upgrades. Gravel parking spots would be great and some pull through sites for larger rigs would be helpful. There are so many rules and management is micro managing the park, driving around
continually. The office lady, maybe owner not sure, is not very friendly. She comes across as being kind of aggressive.

Visitors are charged $7.50 each to come in the park. We had friends come in and pick us up to do a day trip with us; it cost them $15 to come into the park for probably 10 minutes to pick us
up and didn't use any facilities, while in the park. I asked the office gal what the $15 charged was paying for, and she wouldn't answer, just said it's the rules. They couldn't have used the bathroom behind us anyway, it was out of order the whole time we were there.

Suggestions for improvements- working
restrooms; gravel parking spots; water
hookups, where the hose doesn't fall into a cement hole; pull through sites for bigger rigs; garbage bins in more than one area (only one at the entrance) ; parking for extra vehicles (and a friendly owner that talks courteously to visitors, when they feel you are not parking in the manner you would like) ; less fees for visitors; and friendlier staff/management.

Campgrounds should be run by friendly,
inviting staff/management, so people want to stay there and return, as well as tell their friends for more future business/campers.

The campground had little activity and not very many campers, despite the Indy race going on in Toronto the weekend we were there. This kind of speaks for the park' services, not full, possible due to the park's shortcomings.

They have what could be a pretty campground and inviting, but need some improvements and an attitude adjustment to encourage campers
to recommend and return to the campground. There is plenty of opportunities to be a welcoming area for friends to visit, have family gatherings for campers, if only they would pare down the rules, charge less for visitors and become more friendly and stop micro- managing their guests. In addition, improve the facilities and camping spots. Always room for improvement.

A convenient campground just off the 401. Very clean. Roads are narrow and some sites are tight for big rigs.

Nice camp spots. Management is a little bit tough. Visitors have to pay to visit you. Expensive!

This is by far the best RV campground within the GTA area. The staff is always very helpful. I have been camping here for two consecutive winter seasons and never had any challenges. Andy is very helpful and professional and maintains the highest possible standards at the facility. Snow is removed ASAP and the lawns are very well kept. The proximity to Toronto is a great advantage. This is the only RV campground that offers full-fledged winter RV camping facilities within the GTA area. Nearby tourist attractions such as Hilton falls and Glen Eden ski resort are great. I just love this place.

Great place to stay. Andy and his staff have always made us feel welcome at MH. We just stayed there for the 3rd time in November/December '22.
For those that complain about the "strict" rules, I'll take those anytime. Other parks also have strict rules and you never see the paid security service and there are thefts, damage to golf carts, vehicles and more. Its nice to see at MH someone cares about their residents and their safety.

I've been to so many campgrounds. I've got to say this one is my favorite campground by far. Well maintained, clean and a great family place. Shannon was amazing and so helpful with my family. The name says it all. My family and I will be back next year. ️

If I could give this place a zero I would. Called 3 times November to arrange storage for the winter SEASON. Not once did anyone indicate storage fees going up January 1st. 1st visit I brought my trailer and they required ownership. Fine I understand but had it at home. They wouldn't let me leave it for an hour while I went back to get it. Unreasonable. Also no mention of storage costs going up before leaving visit 1. Next day. Brought all the documents and as she's finishing paperwork springs on me prices increasing to $100 in January minimum from $3/ft (as advertised online and told on the phone). To be honest if they told me in advance I would have considered but the sneaky way this was done and the condescending attitude from your staff gets zero business from me and hopefully more will see this. A genuine "sorry" goes a long way especially when you are in the wrong. Not looking and speaking to customers with a condescending tone. The place is a field with hook ups and horrible customer service. Not recommended and if you plan to take it there be prepared for attitude and unreasonable staff.

Update
so I see you responded below with information that is untrue and once again unapologetic and condescending. I see where the training might be coming from. To clarify on your end, I spoke with two people who I mentioned seasonal storage to. In that moment the rate increase should have mentioned to avoid me dragging my trailer around for no reason. Perhaps bait and switch is the goal and then this would make sense why nothing was mentioned. The line from your staff as we were finshing registration was "I am not sure if you were talking to me or the other girl but I wanted to confirm you know the rates are going up January 1st". This exact statement goes against what you are saying with regards to staff only answering to what is asked by customers. Why would it only be mentioned at the end of the registration process if they aren't supposed to mention it all as you say? You're essentially saying I would have been notified rates are going up 65% on Dec 29 (30 days later) in the dead of winter because I didn't ask? Weird.with regards to leaving my trailer there for an hour or so while I go get my info. Come on? Was I really going to leave a 30k trailer on your hands without coming back (I was willing to leave my trailer and all contact info and get my ownership asap) Again be reasonable. I don't expect an apology or understanding. I was polite and upfront and unfortunately I got the exact opposite from you and your staff. This won't change I get it. All the best

We spent 2 months at Milton Heights Campground and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff are all very friendly and polite. The owner is very personable and vettes all long term guests so the park is quiet and well maintained. The location just off the 401 is ideal for travelers. We would definitely return.

When a campground an hour from Toronto has availability the week before a long weekend, you know they’re no good.

First let me comment on their website. The GTA (that’s Greater Toronto Area for people not familiar with the area) is large. They have a list of nearby attractions. They are not that nearby. Even going to Toronto will take you a better part of an hour. And that’s if you don’t hit rush hour!

I considered staying here for the summer months and had an “application” sent to me. The questions on it had me scratching my head and googling to see if the questions and requirements happened anywhere else. The questions are what you would might find if you were actually moving into someone’s house. Not just parking a trailer. They also wanted copies of your ownership and insurance. The application made me pass on it.

One thing the application required was that your trailer be less than 14/15 years. I don’t have a problem with that at all because older ones can be in bad shape. But if that is going to be your requirement for long term stay, make it the same for short stays! Seriously, pick a lane and stay in it!

Although I had nothing to compare it to before, I did read reviews that say the level of the campground has declined. I just got to see that it wasn’t that great.

Would I stay here again, probably not. They are close to Kelso Park but that’s about it.

We stayed at the Milton Campgrounds for 2 months this summer. The grounds are very well maintained, the washrooms are nice and clean. We were able to enjoy the pool over the summer it was a welcome treat to combat the heat. There are only 10 people allowed in the pool at one time? Not sure why that is?
The staff and owner were fantastic, always ready to help out and offer advice and accommodate. We are from York Region but we found Milton very well equipped with stores and amenities. We certainly look forward to our next stay.

Milton Hights Camp Ground has been our go to Camp Ground and our favorite Camp Ground of all of them in Ontario. We have a class a motorhome which is fabulous to be able to choose between a 60 amp service and a 30 amp service. The owner and the staff are absolutely fabulous. The amenities are great with a big pool great Wi-Fi for checking emails and browsing the web. Highly recommend Milton Hights Camp Ground on your next travels.

We have stayed at this campground probably about 6x and always the same pleasant experience. The grounds and facilities are very well kept and the owner is just an awesome man! This year our power Jack died on our travel trailer and he kindly brought over some wood blocks and a Jack so we could get our trailer onto our hitch. Strongly recommend staying here.
15 October 2022 11:52
When the rules are 20 pages long, and guests threaten to call security on kids 6 and 9 years old for not following rules in the pool you can see why my kids might have been the only ones in the whole park. Not fun. Will not return.
26 September 2022 15:14
Roomy. Plenty of room for big RVs Great bathrooms. Well managed. We would definitely stay again.
26 September 2022 6:35
I have stayed, June and July 2022 at this beautiful camp. Excellent services, super clean and organized. Andrew the owner is always there 24/7 a nice British gentleman with a lot of experience. His team also are very professional, supporting and friendly like a big family. I will definitely come back.
Thank you all for this awesome experience.

We just got the 5th wheel trailer and we choose this camp ground for the first camping site. It was great choise. This camp site is amazing. It's private and clean. All the facilities are well managed.:) Also there are good attractions nearby. I definitely go to this place again. I strongly recommended!

My boyfriend Kyle, myself (hope), and our 1 year old son, had an absolutely wonderful time Canada day long weekend staying here. The cleanliness of the entire park including the pool and bathrooms is great. If you’re looking to stay somewhere that provides an extremely relaxing, quite, and clean environment I highly suggest staying here. It is very visible how much the owner loves the property by how it’s maintained so wonderfully. It was our littles ones first time camping and we will definitely be bringing him back here!

For someone who has been camping all her life this Milton's hill campground is the worst. Very rude and disrespectful owner and staff that given visitors attitude and even kick out paying customers and gave them attitude. Not a good was to run a business. I definitely would not recommend this campground.
27 August 2022 10:13
Stopped overnight on the way to the Sandbanks. Nice campground, quiet even though it’s relatively close to the 401, clean modern bathrooms and friendly staff.
19 August 2022 14:24
C'est un camping a utilisé a court terme. On entend beaucoup autoroute. Il y a pas beaucoup activités pour les enfants et la piscine n'est pas chauffé.
14 August 2022 17:47
Stayed here over the Canada Day weekend. We have a 5th wheel and the spot we got, was a perfect pull through. There is water and sewer on each site. 30A. Very clean, well maintained and quiet park. Andy is always friendly and keeps a close eye on everything. Pool is very clean. Wood is very dry and lasts a long time. This is our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely come back. Nothing but good things to say. Keep it up all staff! One thing I'd love to see added, is an off leash fenced in area, for dogs to run.
27 July 2022 17:39
One of the worst camps I've ever stayed in. It is very difficult to communicate with the owner. My friends come to play, and each person has to pay$ 7, child $3. During our dinner, he came to ask for money three times. My friend said to pay when he left, they still come to my site to ask money. It's really disappointing, very unpleasant, and will never come again. The price is super expensive, not worth it, the experience is very poor。we totaly understand and respect the rule, but I don't think the owner need to asked so many times for money. The feeling is so bad.
14 July 2022 0:35
Unfortunately I’m sad to say that Milton Heights is not very welcoming to guests. They are not accommodating at all. Only 5 guests allowed, even though the park was fairly empty.
05 October 2019 7:12
The campground is very clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. You have to have your fire out by midnight and to be honest we were a little put off by that at first but the man who put out our fire was pleasent. Our kids had a great time in the pool and at the park. We will return before the summer is over.
07 September 2019 23:48
Is ni es for a certine type of camping just want my style but staff was friendly it was clean just not a lot of privacy and I had three dogs who bark lol used to provincial parks
07 September 2019 5:08
Worst campground I have ever experienced. I spent $30 on wood that I could only burn from 9pm-Midnight. 3 hours at $10/bag of wood. At 12: 01 the staff poor a bucket of water on your fire. You cannot smoke legal medical Canibus without being "evicted". The bathrooms were disgusting for the entire trip. They have huge pools of stagnent water that attract mosquitos and gnats. If I could rank this a -5 star I would. Worst camping experience of my life. What else could you expect being 47 seconds from a 401 offramp with the noise already ruining your camping vibe. DO NOT CAMP HERE!
04 September 2019 0:13
Not much for the kids to do, staff were friendly. Good place if you're looking for a home base to visit locations in the GTA/ Niagara.
01 September 2019 8:32
Sites are small with no privacy. Our dinner was interrupted because one of our truck tires was on the grass of our site. No cannabis allowed even though it's legal. If highway noise bothers you.forget about it!
10 August 2019 18:31
Nice campground that is on the edge of the city. Fairly noisy from the traffic on 401. Stayed in a 50 amp full hookups site that was a back in. Site was fairly level and utilities worked well. Rather pricey if you have more than 2 adults. Not a bad place to stay if you are going to go into Toronto from the West side.
28 July 2019 6:29
If you love camping and shopping, this is the best camp site for you. It is very near the Toronto Premium Outlet. Too bad there are no trees for shade when you set up your tent
21 July 2019 8:25
We went there to reserve two sites for a year, however, we were informed that our kind (hard working class people) are not aloud to camp there. I was raised to never judge a book by its cover yet I was judged. That was a very uncomfortable feeling and dont wish that upon anybody. I'm not one to complain therefore I wont go on, I believed this was something people should know before entering this location.
11 July 2019 1:50
Do not stay here. We stayed for one season thinking what everyone does, that this place is family friendly and the owners are nice, but they don't care about people. The staff were lovely and courteous yet the owners fired them all. Step out of line for the smallest issue and they hold a grudge against you. We were not allowed back because my boyfriend and his two friends on their motorcycles did not stop at the gate. At this point we had been staying there for 5 months and they weren't speeding. Anyone can just walk past the gate anyway, it's only to stop cars from entering. My neighbor wasn't allowed back because they said his skirting was flying around everywhere but everyone's skirting was everywhere due to the wind storm we had. When he tried to defend himself they found him problematic and just kicked him out too. The owner has a reputation for being on his high horse. Save your money and go to another park, there are many other parks in the area.
20 June 2019 19:48
Amazing place to be don’t listen to one star reviews because I as a 10 year old love the deep pool water slide park and people there! Also I like the shop and am LIVING here for the rest of summer
