I've been going to Mimi's over the past two months. It's close to home and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions.

Moved next door to them, have been there twice, both times got a mani Pedi, Shellac on my hands regular for my feet, first time it cost 78.00 with debt, second time 68.00 cash, both time shellac peel off within 7/8 days, Plus a ten dollar tip, Never again.

Great place for mani / pedi.
All the girls are great, I recommend Joanne, if you are able to get her to do your mani/ pedi.

Got shellac mani done. Lady was nice but my cuticle is bleeding and colour is uneven. Also a little pricey. A bit disappointed because my coworker highly recommended them

I had my gel manicure done at Mimi’s Salon.
The young lady that did my nails was very rude and abrupt. She made me feel very uncomfortable. She kept talking to her coworkers in their own language.

All the staff speaks to each other in their own language. To me it is the height of rudeness. There is no excuse for that.
Specially when they are working on a client.

I really question the sanitization and sterilization. I was observing. They don’t even sanitize the table between clients. I highly question their sterilization on their implements.

Mimi nails staff very friendly, shops nice and clean. I’m very happy with my nails, will come back again

By far best nail salon in St. Catharines. Had my daughter and her friends in for mani/pedis and they were so welcoming, so accommodating and did an amazing job on each girl. 10 out of 10 experience.

It was my first time going to this place. First of all the place stinks secondly thy do not clean or sterlize their tools and thirdly the table they me sat on had nails and the nails powder from the previous coustomer. I felt horrible. I continued anyways i made the appointment with them. Sat down showed them 1 pic of nails i wanted to get aftrr they polied my nails she was not able to make wat i wanted nd told me to choose somethne else but the thing is u painted them already how am i suppose to change now? Then i end up getting some stickers on my nails which i dont even like but teh rude lady said i am done wid u u cant decide what u want bla bla. I hate this experience i will never ever look back and recommend anyone to go to them.already told like 10 people dont go.

I highly recommend Nina, her work is very lovely and she always makes sure you're happy with it!

I had a shellac manicure and pedicure at Nina's place Yesterday March 22nd. My appointment was at 6pm, I got there and she told me her name was Nina, and she was the most unwelcoming person, but I did not take it personal, as it was the end of the day, I just assumed that she was tired, I sat and she started to do my pedi, she cut my big toe at the very beginning, and she did not even apologized nor offer to clean it, I asked her to put something and she just put a paper on it to stop the blood, I asked to disinfect it, because I'm going away for holidays, and the last thing I wanted is to have an infection while I'm traveling and she put some liquid on it and unfazed just continue with the pedi, eventually said she finished, and I checked with my glasses and the toenail had a big smush on the shellac paint that she just gonna let it there if I did not look, I pointed out it and really reluctant proceeded to fix it, she finished and she muttered to go to the mani station without putting any disinfectant on my toe, when I asked her to give me something and annoyed for my request she went and got a it for me, then when she was doing my mani she cut me again, no efs giving.

STAY AWAY FROM NINA, SHE IS AN ANGRY, DISSMISIVE, PASIVE-AGRESIVE, AND TOTALLY INCOMPETENTE TECNICIAN.

My toe is infected, because for SURE dismissive nina did not disinfect the pedi station. 78 + taxes, she even gave me the look because I did not tip her as if.

I had a very great experience at this salon. All the staff are pleasant which makes the environment very welcoming. The women who did my nails absolutely “nailed” it (no pun intended) I wish I would have got her name because she was an absolute perfectionist! She made sure every detail on my nails was correct! And her work shows! She also did my eyebrows and eyelashes. My eyebrows turned out 10/10 perfect! I will keep returning to her. The lashes are not too good but I don’t blame her. I think it’s just the product they use isn’t the best because she did everything else wonderful! I recommend this salon overall a great environment & experience

Always walk out feeling so good. Nina is absolutely amazing. I had Henry today. He was very attentive and did great work. The massage was terrific! Would recommend them all. Clean and very friendly.

About a month ago me and my friend went in for a full set at Mimi’s nails. We left a review about how horrible the customer service is and how they didn’t sterilize any of their tools. Last night I had to rip off my nail because it was completely infected underneath on my entire thumb. I called the manager and explained that this happened after my experience there and how it was the same nail that my technician cut my actual skin with a dirty tool. I even sent her a picture. She proceeded to tell me I was wrong that they don’t clean their tools and the only thing she could do for me is show me herself how to clean it. I explained I did not want to go back to the salon after my previous experience and I just wanted a refund. She refused to do this for me and was not helpful whatsoever over the phone. I highly recommend to go anywhere else other than this salon I have heard horrible things from other people as well about their experiences there.

My experience with the salon was really good and Tina was very professional and nice and she knows her job well! I would come back again for a good service.
