I recently rented a mini excavator from them.
Everything worked out just perfect, as they promised.
The excavator was delivered on time, in very good condition. It was a new equipment (which is not very common with other rental companies). The communication was very smooth and efficient.
And, their prices are fairly reasonable (lower than Home Depot rentals for sure).
I highly recommend Minden Equipment Rental to anyone who is looking for a reliable service.

On September 30 we celebrated our daughter's wedding on Kennisis Lake. With over 100 guests we required a party rental company to provide all of the necessary plates, cutlery and glassware and Minden Equipment Rental did not disappoint. Rented a bull float from them while doing a concrete floor. Staff are pretty efficient. No complaints.

Walked into the store to buy a new spark plug for my weed eater, because it wasn't running properly. Mentioned to the owner what was going on, without hesitation, he told me what to look for when I got home, instead of saying bring it in we will have a look. He was 100% correct and I had the problem delt with in no time. Thanks Bill.

Friendly and knowledgeable. They help you with everything. You have a question they can answer it. Definitely the place to go when you need to rent a piece of equipment.

Great guys. I showed up as they were closing due to problems with a chainsaw. The saw was happily checked out and was figured out within a couple minutes. It ran great for the rest of the weekend.

I've had various tools repaired over the years and I've rented some larger equipment for the bigger jobs. Since the new ownership I find that both Bill and Brady are helpful, friendly and very approachable. I would easily recommend them to friends and family.

Was up in Minden on business and found Minden Equipment rental. I needed a chain saw and decided to check them out, ended up getting a new saw and all the necessary safety equipment. Bill and Brady the new owners on the desk are nice guys, very knowledgeable. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Knowledgeable guys really knew details of products. Too bad the stihl leaf blower was out of stock.will certainly go back for other machinery if needed.

I always thought staff here were great, but the former owner made me never to want to come here. I was absolutely thrilled that the staff took over, as the location and selection are excellent.

This is the only place to go in Minden for equipment. I’ve rented machines and bought our lawn tractor and trimmer here this year. Always a positive experience. Staff are awesome!

I was looking for a place to rent a wood chipper and purchase a chainsaw to clear some brush from my newly purchased property. My neibour recommend I go see Brady and Bill at Minden Rental. The rental of the chipper was seamless. It arrived at the scheduled delivery time and was picked up during the time frame that was quoted. When inquiring about the right chainsaw to purchase for me needs, Brady and Bill were were fantastic. I personally wanted to get the biggest and baddest chainsaw that Stihl had to offer. However once brady and I discussed my needs, I soon discovered that it would be over kill for what i needed it for. They set me up with a MS250. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Minden Rental. I would recommend them to anyone.

Please read this review before looking at the old ones. 2 young guys have purchased the business from the old guy (who was responsible for all the poor reviews) and they have transformed the customer service. I saw the "under new management" sign and thought I'd check in and give them a chance and sure enough, my experience with them has been excellent from purchasing tools and renting equipment. I will no longer have to travel all the way to Haliburton to rent/buy. These young and eager guys are great!

I have been into the store a few times since the new management team took over, a welcomed change for sure. Great service, is what it is all about.

Bill and Brady the new owners are great! I have rented a few things from them and I have not been disapointed by the service yet.

Impeccable service. Being a cottager and trying to arrange to rent something from the city is difficult - but not with Minden Equipment. They responded to my email almost immediately. They were the ONLY one that responded to my email question/request.
Ended up changing the day of the rental and they were most accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all cottagers - you won't be disappointed.

The place give horrible customer service and when equipment breaks (even new one) it’s strictly on you.
Bad customer service - go to different store!
