Minesing Wetlands / Nottawasaga Fishing Park

Very clean area for fishing in a river. We fished a few hours but didn't catch anything! Many ppl came and went throughout the day.

The area is an Essa fish park.a yearly pass (40$) is required for adults to fish, kids free, disabled free by salmon, steelhead, carp and many more species live in the nottawasaga river

This places ridiculous! I live in Angus and I need a purchase an Additional fishing permit just a fish there. Furious! I think they would at least give a permit for residence…

This area you must buy additional permit to fish on top of your provincial fishing license. I don't recommend here just as good or better fishing on other side of bridge.

Well too many others at this spot there are some people catching up to 5 an 6 Salmon every day the same people it's like they own the spot they are fishing in I have been there 4 days in a row at different times those people are in the same spot as they catch a Salmon they would take it to the cleaning table and come back to the same spot,

Beautiful canoe through the Willow Creek, ending on the Nottawasaga. Only flooded for a few weeks, I'm grateful for this local gem!

One of the best wetlands in Ontario, Minesing Wetland is home to a diverse array of habitats. The unique cluster of marshes, bogs, fens and swamps support a wide variety of flora and fauna!

It's peaceful and nice for a walk, fishing and picking wild garlic. There are pick tables and some of them are under a roof.

A very beautiful place to walk and enjoy wild life. It's great for fishing, hunting, hiking, canoing, and enjoying nature.

Beautiful river but we got swarmed by mosquitoes and had to turn around. We will be back but a different month

Nature = tranquil, relaxation and fun with family and love ones or take your dog for a walk and just enjoy the atmosphere.
