This place, the staff (present and past) was the help I needed as a sole support, low income mother to enrich my daughter's life.

My daughter is now 16, but she began at Mini Skool at 18 months old. She attended the Bramalea location first and when we moved she went to the location on Church Street.

I wanted a child care location with multiple staff, seemingly hygienic space with focus on how the kids behaved (if they seemed happy or not). I wanted a place that was brightly lit, had toys but also educational toys or sharing circles and outdoor time. A focus on reading and non techy stuff but hands on learning like how we all grew up. A traditional upbringing with engagement and learning to share and cooperate.

I did utilize subsidy and they helped me through that because initially I felt shame. I realized it was not as stigmatizing as I thought it was.

We had no other family or social network and Mini Skool was a second home. It was a place that became that circle of friends or village of mothers (during our time I only ever saw women staff) helping to raise my daughter and other kids.

The staff were diverse and inclusive and culturally or familially sensitive to understand the child and connect with those adults who came to pick the child up. It was nice being greeted by the staff and even some of the other kids. It was always a happy place for us.

I also really appreciated that they had the shuttle service to three surrounding schools. My daughter attended Mini skool from the toddler age upto grade 5 when she aged out.

This place helped raise my daughter. Mini Skool gave all of us life lessons, happy memories and it positively impacted all members of our family. What Mini Skool provided can't be measured by monetary value. The staff were naturally talented and inclined todo their job duties to the best of their abilities going above and beyond what I ever thought a daycare to be like.

It changed my perspective as well once I saw my daughter was safe, happy, making friends and playing while working on ABC's and doing basic math and becoming bilingual. To know she loved the food and always spoke highly of the staff or if she told me another kid was a bully, to hear how it was handled and that she felt better because of how they handled it: I learned to trust my daughter in their care and that was very hard for me to do at that time.

They instilled confidence and character into her. Now she is apart of many youth leadership opportunities, flies on airplanes alone to conferences and now works at her own school's after school program helping the elementary kids until 5: 30pm, a Ranger for Girl Guides, and accepted a job as a summer camp counselor type position for summer 2023 at a camp she once attended. She said how she was treated at Mini Skool is what she reflects upon when interacting with the kids at her programs and she hopes to enrich those kids the way her Mini Skool teachers did for her.

I know she didn't get all this confidence, life experiences and passion from me, but solely through her time spent at Mini Skool. It truly is a Child's Place, and that dedication to the child also strengthened our adult inner child.

We can never thank Mini Skool enough or express all the positive things they helped create, foster or grow within my daughter.

5 Stars and our humble lengthy testimonial is all I can give to thank Mini Skool. They will forever be a part of our memories and apart of the success story to the foundation of my daughter's being.

Thank you Mini Skool and all the staff that helped shape my daughter towards her success story of a self directed narrative using her intersectionality as a strength to rise above her marginalizations by demonstrating to her inclusivity, equality and equity. You were all excellent role models to her. I can't thank you enough.

Very pleased. The staff are awesome with my little one, and she's always excited to go in the morning which makes me happy. It's been a great experience dealing with them.

Great Staff and Supervisors! I like how they facilitate creative ways for child learning and post picture moments of his learning experience on their hi mama app.
