I must say at first I was a little hesitant in getting a lawyer because most people I know told me it's a waste of money for my case because I'm unionized. (my union is useless, their like politician's, deflecting my questions)

But honestly I learned so much, he went over my documents with me and showed me what to remove/add to help make my case, which definitively made my case stronger then it was before.

I must say after my first session with Mr. Minken I was very pleased with his work and booked another. It was on zoom, which was great because I didn't have to displace myself from my home office and we went over the documents together through screenshare.

Tip- have your questions ready so you don't miss anything and focus on important documents if you have any so it saves time on skimming through a bunch of documents.

When very hard time happened, I was extremely shocked and angry for my former employer unfairly and unethically treatment. After providing all the required documentation and writing up the events that took place as requested prior to the session. The lawyer clearly didn't read them prior, furthermore I provided the critical severance package which for some reason the lawyer also didn't have. So at 600 with HST I except them to be prepared. A got another opinion which was 40 percent less cost wise and they provided clear direction and options. I don't recommend this law firm at all. Also if you have stock options they again have no answer and refer you elsewhere.
