Celebration Square is a good venue for various events. After saying that, it is totally up to the organizers of individual events to make it good or not so great!
Went to celebration square and kids had a very good time there. They enjoyed splash pad and explore large ground field. There is also a small garden behind MCS that is very well organized and we had very memorable time there.
Amazing place, great for families, great for kids. There was a festival today, italyfest, celebrating Italy's cultural heritage, lots of shows, food and games everywhere. Highly recommended.
Brought my kids to play at the huge splash pad. We spend almost 3 hours there. Bought some food at the food trucks because we didn't bring any food. All the food was freshly made and delicious, the chicken strip was so juicy even though it was white meat. The crepe with Nutella and banana was so good too. Both owners were super friendly and nice. There was also a small farmer's market where u can buy some fresh vegetables and fruits. Next time I'll remember to bring my kids some water guns.
Very pathetic! As a visitor from USA, one expected more crowd in Mississauga. Even in a town in South Dakota more desis would show up if a South Asian event was celebrated.
Latin fest was absolutely amazing! Great food, great music, great vendors for crafts and gifts. Very orderly, good flow and great set up for all the stalls.
Glad we have such a great venue in Mississauga. Whoever came up with the idea, designed it, thank you! There are activities almost daily with lots of benches. So much space for huge shows and best of all they're free. Parking car be tricky as most people park at Square One which isn't really allowed but no one bothers. The water fountain adds a great option for kids and adults to enjoy the summer heat.
Very nice place to visit with young kids and family. They have summer fountain which anyone will fall in love regardless of their age. In winter they made arrangements for Ice skating. Skate boots are available on rent. There is a astoturf ground where you can sit and relax to catch your breath Also prior pandemic they used to arrange different cultural programs here. You will find food stalls also. Overall me and my family love this place.
I enjoy this place. Playing Camelot is fun. Everyday camelot101 is played. Whether old or young, beginner or master, all people can play and learn the game.
The sounds of children playing on the swings and splash pad was the best thing about it. The entire thing is looking sad as it's under construction. Also of the food trucks were closed. There were two opened and the one was having trouble with their gas so they couldn't make anything he kept on going back and forth to the back of the unit with tools. It was very disappointing.
It's always rejuvinating experience, whenever we go to Celebration square! Enjoyable fountains & splash pads, food trucks, seatings, open areas to play & run for kids!
There is a large fence around whole splash pad which is nice BC kids are contained to area. It’s a very large splash pad, more like a small wading pool. Kids live to run around and play with the water spraying along the sides.
Had a nice afternoon with my mother & aunt. Enjoyed the sunlight and was also happy to enjoy the shadw as well. Happy that the benches are in both areas. Always a relaxing time at MCS.
This spot is the cats meow. Having come from downtown Toronto, we have been absolutely tickled to discover all the events offered at celebration square. From movies and food trucks in the summer to free skating and inexpensive ($10 adult, $5 kids) skate rentals in the winter, celebration square is the premiere family friendly venue in Mississauga! Also there is free (!) and ample parking.
Nice place for the whole family, or friends, or anyone basically. Year round events, ice skating, food. Close to square one shopping center. Free parking at square one and free underground parking in weekend!
This is a nice place for attending events. The skating rink is free and nicely maintained. There are washrooms nearby and you can always pArk at square 1 mall. And walk up there
Celebration Square in Mississauga is a awesome place to be. We enjoy working with everyone involved in the planning and organizing of the fun filled family events that go on here. Great place to visit whenever you're in the area.
The place is amazing to visit. Fun for family! Picnic here you will feel right at home.never gone skating I’m a Mexican that’s ok. We don’t skate. This is a must visit.
Mississauga really did a great job on this property. I've seen this area develop and change over time and its become a very popular area to celebrate all kind of occasions and watch sporting events with hundreds if not thousands of people. Clean and safe, it has ice rink by the city hall in the winter and all kinds of festivals in the summer. Watched the Blue Jays playoff games with hundreds of people few years ago and was amazed how many people showed up for the raptors games. Today they were filming a tv show. Always something to do and see.
Great place to celebrate fests. Been to this place multiple times and have never been disappointed. Always alive and happening. Lots of fests in mississauga are held here and usually Its family friendly so don't have to worry about leaving kids behind. Tons to do and certainly recommend coming here
This celebration square is at heart of the Missisaauga. All the credit goes to the Mayor.
Central library and biggest Square One shopping mall is near by. It’s very close to the bus stop also.
The name itself vouch that it was meant for celebration and it’s very true. Every week they have some events taking place during summer. The place is really big.
Free parking on weekend. It’s wheel chair accessible place. Very friendly to all communities.
Amazing lovely place for families, kids and friends. We come here at least twice a week, for sure every Thursday for the kids movies and other days to bring the kids enjoy the water.
We stay there with friends for long night hours playing board games and enjoying the kids playing together with other kids.
This is one of the best thing the city of Mississauga and Canada has offered families, the only place always open and doesn’t have mosquitos at night
Had a great family time on Diwali fest on Oct 5th. The north parking is just next to it and it's free on weekends. Celebration lace was very neat and clean and event was well organized. Nice indian food stalls.
Generally a nice place to be with plenty around you in terms of food and shopping. Some events are great during the day, but most are better in the evening. Food can be a bit hit-and-miss.
Best place for events, have attended so many here that I've lost count. Kudos to all the organizers and administrators. Attended an amazing halal food fest 2019 here. Details in pic captions.
Great outdoors including city hall, library and square one shopping center. Lovely downtown with lots of access to shopping and nice outdoor to walk around. I love Mississauga, it’s just beautiful.
Spicy food during ramadan from Zabiha halal, we were fasting for 16 hours and decided to eat at the celebration square, we couldn't tolerate the food. I'll never eat there again NEVER
Although square has many benefits, there are certain life threatening perils. I witnessed today around 4.30 pm seen a group of boys aged 12- 22 playing soccer, which just came flying right on face of a toddler less than 2 years. Parents who were sitting on side ways were shocked & rushed the kid to medical center. Inspite of advice by many to play carefully with young kids and families around, the same thing repeated in next 10 minutes when a ball smashed right on the face of a lady aged around 35 who was sitting on sideways with her family. Though an apology was made, when a family members and others from the crowd suggested not to play soccer with toddlers and young kids around, they did not listen and behaved like goons. Mississauga celebration is a life threating place to take kids. There is no fear of law and rules are not followed. Mississauga Celebration Sqaure is perfect opportunity to witness mob culture.
Suitable place for family hangout. Free, nice and clean.surrounded by all good places like Square one, Mississauga Library, Cineplex and good restaurants.
Suitable place for family hangout. Free, nice and clean.surrounded by all good places like Square one, Mississauga Library, Cineplex and good restaurants. Looks like a good community place where you can see people from different ethnicity.
Last week Friday evening we had one of the best family outing experiences. Special thanks to Erin at the rental booth, who was extremely patient and helpful while my husband & I went through several skates to find the perfect one for me so that I could be on the ice with my kids comfortably for the first time. She saw me struggle with my skates and recommended me to change them without me asking. And Mathew (Skate Patrol) who helped put them on when I did find the perfect size. Thank you for great customer service.
A great place to spend time on the weekends! The skating rink although is not very maintained and can prematurely wear your skates compared to other rinks I’ve visited. I guess that’s just how outdoor rinks are ️
