Went there for my friends wedding reception. The venue is really good, and the food was great. They had a late night snack bar with some amazing poutines. Great venue.

If you’re reading any negative reviews for Mississauga Grand I advise you to not let it determine your decision of reaching out.

Mississauga grand saved our wedding day. When multiple issues arouse during our planning with our previous venue 3 weeks before our wedding day, we reached out to Mississauga Grand with little to no hope that we’d find a new venue, but we quickly heard back and they saved the day, quite literally.

The Team at Mississauga Grand was everything and more. Sam the owner was very accommodating and kind. Brian the server who served our head table the day of made us feel so incredibly comfortable and well taken care of - an absolute sweetheart. And Nicole I’ll never have enough thank you’s to actually tell you how grateful we are for you! All I can say is she was an absolute dream to work with. She was so attentive and great with communication. She had great attention to detail and went above and beyond. From overseeing decor set up to saving the wedding day with bobby pins and batteries.

We’d also like to thank the remaining of the MG team behind the scene, without them our day wouldn’t have been what it was. I’d also like to say the food was absolutely delicious, our guests couldn’t get enough!

Please consider having your event here, I promise you will not regret it, you’ll be well taken care of. Thank you x a million Mississauga grand!

Place is clean and big enough for a 200 guests per hall, but are more than one hall, washrooms are very clean and the most important, it looks safe.

A nice banquet hall for special events, easy access close to major highways with ample parking, superb catering service, nicely prepared catering food and attentive staff.

6 different times we had to change our wedding date over a two year period (thanks Covid), and Sabrina was so calm about it all!
She even honoured it original prices which was super kind!

I had my Indian wedding here and it went so smoothly. Sabrina and her team were absolutely wonderful. From the first visit to the day of the event, Sabrina was kind, informative and very helpful.

The atmosphere, food, and management is wonderful. Like the name, the banquet hall is GRAND! It is a well maintained hall, and I would highly recommend hosting your next event here.

Just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mississauga Grand Banquet last Oct 2nd and it was amazing! The atrium which we used for our ceremony was beautiful and we didn't need to add anymore decorations as it already came with flower decors. The food selection we had for our reception was also good and the guests said they enjoyed it! The staff overall were really kind and I wanted to say thank you to Sabrina, Vanessa, Eva, Antoinette and Sam who communicated with us and also helped us throughout the process. They accommodated our requests, and overall my husband and I really enjoyed our time and are glad we chose Mississauga Grand to celebrate our big day.

We recently had our AGM and Employee Celebration at the Mississauga Grand and it was amazing. The staff are fantastic - always attentive and professional. They really go above and beyond. And the food was fabulous. It was creative and delicious. Would definitely recommend the Mississauga Grand for your event.

Great venue for hosting small and large events. We had close to 400 people at our reception and mississauga grand was easily able to handle that capacity. Enough food and enough drinks for everyone. Great in house resources for audio visual and lighting. But most importantly, the staff is respectful and happy to accommodate any requests you make within reason.
I had the pleasure of working with Sabrina and she was very supportive and helpful throughout the whole planning process.

Sabrina and her amazing team made our wedding FLAWLESS.
First of all, the MG provides the most value for your money. The chairs are already beautiful, and they don't force you to rent covers. The food packages were by far the most cost efficient, and - this is important - the food doesn't taste like "banquet hall food".
No rubbery chicken; beef that is cooked exactly to specification, and an Italian menu that doesn't just rely on boring old items like red and white pasta, and melon wrapped in a sad piece of prosciutto. The menu is inspired, contemporary, and delicious. The wait staff is professional, helpful, and unlike so many staff members I've seen at other halls, actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs.
I was a nervous bride with a lot of questions in a lot of emails, and Sabrina responded patiently, in a timely manner, and was entirely reassuring at all times.on the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond, stepping in as a runner when needed, helping our special needs kids, and generally being in the right place at the right time, always.
I can't recommend the Mississauga Grand enough.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Grand for weddings, social gathers but especially Debut’s. When I was looking for a venue I found that the Grand was the only venue in Mississauga and the GTA that has a menu and services specifically for these kind of birthday celebrations. From the start of our first introduction Sabrina was wonderful. She answered all our questions and knew exactly what we were looking for! Sabrina response to my emails were quickly, pleasant and to the point.
The day of our daughter’s Debut, Sabrina was gracious to accommodate our last minute requests and entrusted the rest of the night to the Service staff headed by Anya!
The food was amazing! The service courteous! And the bartender impeccable! The staff were prompt making the night seamless and stress free!

Gorgeous venue for a wedding! It was the perfect space, great sized hall and social spaces around the bar area. All of the staff were great and so helpful, and the food was delicious!

Hosted my bridal shower in their Atrium and I could not have been happier! They were so accommodating and really went out of their way to make my dreams a reality. My guest could not stop raving about how incredible the service and food were, so everyone is very excited to return in a few weeks for our wedding. 10/10 recommend!

I am very disappointed by the lack of communication with this venue. I really loved the space and very much wanted to book it for a birthday. In fact it was initially my first choice of venue. I've unfortunately had to make numerous attempts to 'track down' the person I was in contact with on multiple occasions. While I expressed multiple times that my event was coming up soon (restrictions were just lifted) and that I needed to send out invites as soon as possible, I still did not hear back. The person who was supposed to be helping me did not reach out when she said she would to let me know about pricing, minimum numbers, or menu. Instead, I had to call multiple times and send follow-up emails to get a hold of her. Either staff here are struggling with time management or a small party bringing in 3K+ wasn't worth this establishments time. In any case, I ended up booking another venue that has given me quality service, is very responsive, and whom I won't have to worry about tracking down in the midst of planning my event.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose to have our wedding reception at the Mississauga Grand Banquet Hall. When we had to postpone our original wedding reception date due to the pandemic, we were promptly reassured by the staff at the Mississauga Grand that we would have priority to choose a new date, and that all deposits and pricing would remain unchanged.what a relief! The staff at the Mississauga Grand always kept us up to date with the government restrictions on banquet hall events in a timely manner.
When we couldn't host a reception on our June 26th wedding ceremony date due to the ongoing lockdown, we used the Mississauga Grand to cater our intimate family dinner for 10, and the food was absolutely delectable! When lockdown was finally lifted, we were so excited to be able to host our wedding reception at the Mississauga Grand. Sabrina and the rest of the staff made sure that everything was taken care of and organized. Even with the ongoing pandemic, we felt completely safe hosting our event at the Mississauga Grand. There is hand sanitizer in many easy to access locations, and plenty of space for guests to socially distance while still having a great time! And of course. THE FOOD! The food served at our wedding reception was super delicious! We went with "The Portuguese" package, and slightly altered it to include a pasta dish instead of fish to honour my husband's Italian culture. The chef's caldo verde soup was amazingly authentic, the rapini pasta with lamb sausage was so tasty, and we 10/10 recommend the veal chop as the main dish! Super moist, tender and delicious flavour! We then got the seafood and sweets late night table at 11pm and it definitely surpassed our expectations! Lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, rice, chicken wings, meat patties, whole cakes, cake slices, pastries, tarts, fresh fruit, you name it, it was served! And well enjoyed! My guests had nothing but excellent things to say about all the food that was served that night. Also of note, very special care was taken with all guest allergies and dietary restrictions to make sure everyone's food was safe to eat. This was super important to us because I have a peanut allergy, but I felt completely safe about all the food that was served, and they even had a peanut free tartufo dessert option that I was very happy to see! Special thank you again to Sabrina and all of the staff at the Mississauga grand for helping us navigate this process during the pandemic, you all thoroughly exceeding our expectations!

We just attended a wedding here last night and WOW.what a great experience we had. The venue was beautiful, clean and well staffed. I felt safe with the safety protocols in place due to COVID. The bar and wait staff were incredible. They went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible evening. The soup being served was lobster bisque and my spouse doesn't eat seafood so the chef made an egg drop soup just for him. We were so impressed with how hard the people at this venue worked. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to host an event or wedding

We had our daughter's wedding on 15th August 2021. The hall and the wedding coordinator, Sabrina, was referred by a colleague.
It was during COVID and situation was very fluid and was evolving everyday. Sabrina was very flexible and we finally did the event at 25% capacity, with dance.
We choose the best south- asian menu and as per our guests, the food was fabulous.
Hall was very clean and the staffs were cooperative during the event.
I don't have any complainand rerecommend it.

They have pivoted to Atrium Bistro since the pandemic closed their doors and the food and prices are really great! I go there for lunch regularly!

It's been two years since our wedding at Mississauga Grand, and my wife and I still heap praise upon this establishment. Our reception went exceptionally well and the food received rave reviews from our guests. Great team, fair rates, awesome service.

My fiancêe and I visited Mississauga Grand when looking for wedding venues. Antoinette was so kind and informative about venue information. We highly recommend visiting Mississauga Grand to find out about all of your venue needs!

My son and daughter in law had their wedding on February 8. The coordinator for the Grand, Sabrina, ensured everything went smoothly. She helped out in putting all the favours on the table, set up the craft table for the kids, etc. We had veal chops and all the guests were raving about how tender and delicious it was. Said it was the best. The dessert, Italian ice cream, the pasta, soup.everything was very tasty. I highly recommend this venue. Big shout out to the staff who made this night one that was very memorable. Thank you all for ensuring that everything was a success!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Mississauga Grand!
We booked our wedding here for but had to cancel due to the pandemic. They were SO unbelievably kind and understanding which really meant so much to us at a time like this.
After we cancelled the wedding we started using their catering service for a few different events we had and every single thing we had was absolutely delicious! Rave reviews from everyone who tried it! I can't wait to order more and more delicious food and hopefully one day hold a wedding in their beautiful facility!

We've loved Mississauga Grand for years. They've been beyond accommodating.we have hosted weddings, showers and baptisms there over the last decade and they have always been wonderful.due to this horrible Covid our plans for our sons baptism changed.we decided to have MG catering cater our at home event and it was spectacular.everything was freshly made, tender and delicious.thank you so much for the great food!

I had a small family gathering and ordered some items from the new catering menu.

The charcuterie board, rapini, and the mini slider platter were all excellent! The fried chicken slider was especially good!

I would definitely order from here again for any family function:)

I visited this venue for planning and pricing of my son’s upcoming confirmation party. I dealt with Sabrina and was extremely impressed by her knowledge, professionalism, patience and attention to detail. Sabrina is truly an excellent event co-ordinator, and an asset to the company.

Went here for a wedding end of June 2019. The buffet food & service was very good. This place charges 18% gratuity per person so be aware of this charge when you book for weddings. The packages include open bar. We found the bar tenders kind of greedy for tips & was suggesting guests to give them a tip when they ordered drinks especially the lady bar tender which they shouldn't ask since the hall already charge 18% tip per person for the bride & groom to pay for. The staff at the actual wedding hall serving the food was pleasant to deal with & very nice. They didn't ask for tips or bother us. The hall that I had for my wedding which is at Markham Event Center in Markham in 2014 charged us 9-10% gratuity as we paid in cash & staff gave good service. They didn't bother us or demand extra tips even bar tenders. Not greedy like the bar tenders here. So shop around & see if you can negotiate with the hall more for better deal!:)

Food at buffet was very fresh, good, gourmet and abundance. We were all stuffed & full at the buffet. I think any of the buffet was good & more than enough. The seafood upgrade was very good & worth the extra $$. The Asian rice & veggies upgrade was just so so and unnecessary. You can skip upgrades to save $$ if you want. Their regular buffet menu was already good enough. Total came to $150 per person for the buffet menu after taxes & tips.

The dessert was too sweet so we didn't eat much. All the guests felt the same especially the Asians. Interior inside is very nice, clean & professional:)

Nothing was good. We were there for our companies holiday party and was nothing like my previous experiences from others parties!
Food not so good and enough for people that attended and staff? Rude and unprofessional.
They actually barricaded the desert after offering it to the people. I paid and invited a friend. I was so embarrassed when she put her plate down and said no this is humiliating and we left shortly after.

The place is nice and the service is fine. My issue was the speakers were not properly calibrated so I couldn't hear the speeches. This shouldn't be happening with a quiet room.

Location is convenient. Not far from the highway. I really enjoyed their big chicken and dessert. The ambiance was nothing too spectacular but still very nice. Staff try the best to see that everyone was okay.

Went for a Fall Social event and it was great. Perfect room, audio visual aids were perfect, small stage set up, food was good and lots of it. Great networking event!

We attended a wedding party and it was a super nice evening. All music and food was excellent. Pros were the appetizers buffett, excellent fillet mignon and overall the food was very good. The services is another story and this is unfortunately common to banket halls around Toronto areas with a few exceptions. The bartender on one of the bars was giving expresso only to people that he liked. He mostly refused people and was asking clients to catch a server and ask for a coffee. Terrible experience.
Also they start bringing the food with light speed one after the other, such as at around 10: 30pm the servers were already removing glasses from the tables. Wine glasses (full) started disappearing while we were dancing. Another comment was for the white wine that was not cold. They did not bring ice at the table, so we went to the bar to get same wine but with ice.
Recommended for the excellent food, but not for the poor services.

My daughter had wedding here and we can highly recommend this place. You can make a choice, there are different options depens what you like. Beautiful elegant place with really good food and very good service.

We first met with Irene to book the venue. She was very sweet and helpful. She introduced us to Sabrina at our food tasting. We love her! She responded to every email right away and on the day of our wedding she went as far as to tie up my wedding dress train. Absolutely amazing service. The day was more then we could imagine or hoped for thanks to Toni, Alroy, Edna, and Albert. They were not only taking care of us the whole night making sure we didn't need anything but our parents as well. THANK YOU to everyone at Mississauga Grand for making our wedding day perfect! 100% would recommend booking with them. Amazing food and exceptional service for a great price! The location and the intersection is quite approachable and easy to locate for the first time visitors. The hall is also spacious provided the arrangement is done in an organized manner. Ideal for meetups, conferences, receptions etc.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Mississauga Grand November 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from first contact with the sales person, coordinating with the event coordinator and finally to working with the on site staff that managed the evening. They were all very professional and accommodating, going out of their way to make the night special. Communication was always prompt, putting my mind at ease. Not to mention the food which was phenomenal, guests commented on the food for months to come. We had plated dinner, the fettuccine alfredo was much better than what I've had at actual restaurants, and as a main we did a duo plate with beef and chicken, it was very good, and the late night sweet and savoury selection was varied and plentiful. The reception hall itself was very clean and well-maintained, we used two of the three halls for dining and the atrium for cocktails and photobooth. Thankfully no one was using the third hall that Saturday evening so we had the place to ourselves. There is also lots of free on-site parking and it's close to the 401 at Hurontario making it quite easy to get to for guests. I have absolutely no regrets choosing Mississauga Grand for my reception and always recommend it to friends looking for a venue.

We recently had our wedding there on April 6,2019 and everything was BEYOND amazing no complaints.the food service exceeded our expectations including the guest.staff was more than helpful and catering to everyone.i have to do a big thank you to Sam and Irene that really accommodated to our needs in a big way and Sabrina as well.they really give you the best options to stick in your budget and be highly satisfied. Had an office Christmas party here, the venue was okay, but the food was really bad, everything was overcooked. I was towards the end of the buffet line and most of the dishes were empty.so I barely got any food. Definitely don't recommend this venue.

We held our wedding there earlier this month, and everything went perfectly! The event coordinators maintained communications with us, the food was amazing, and the staff were very attentive and friendly! They were very flexible to our needs, from menu options to organization of the event, and if we were in the market to host a large party, this would definitely be our first choice!

We had a Christmas party in this place yesterday. The food is absolutely horrible, inside the part hall is very dark, and VJ who doesn’t know how to play song. It was waste of time and not really enjoy the dinner!

Average banquet hall, nothing fancy. Rooms have been nicely updated and the food is always quite good at our work christmas party.

I recently had my wedding reception at Mississauga Grand and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious (many of the guests went out of their way to let me know). The late night food and desserts were fabulous. The staff were phenomenal - attentive, friendly and so kind. My husband and I, along with our bridal party, were well looked after and had an amazing evening.

I would definitely use Mississauga Grand for any future events. The evening was unforgettable.

Having been to a couple of events here, it is a nice convention centre. The food has always been good and the service is very professional. The facility is clean and modern enough not to feel dated.
