Denys, one of the massage therapists here has been treating me post Achilles tendon surgery. My body was slow to recover. He was willing to try different methods and thanks to his efforts I have made immense progress.

Waited 4 months for a referral to see Dr. James Rofaiel … which is understandable.specialists are busy! However dismissed me within 7 minutes, did not seem to care about the root of my issue and was told that “orthotics” will make it all better. Truthfully it felt very rushed and unresponsive.

Dr. Peter is truly looking out for you in more ways than you may realize. What other physiotherapists do in 6 months he will help with in 1-2 months. Experience in this field is beyond important.

Highly recommend.

I have been going to Mississauga Physiotherapy & Orthopedic Centre for the past 3 years. Initially I started going to physiotherapy due to 2 separate leg injuries I sustained. I used to see "V" for my physiotherapy treatments. She is amazing! She suggested I start massage therapy which I finally decided to do. I've been getting my massage therapy from Dennis for the past 2 years now. I go once month for maintenance and it's the best decision I've made. I used to have chronic lower back pain and I haven't had any issues with my lower back for some time now.
The staff are friendly and very professional. I highly recommend Mississauga Physiotherapy & Orthopedic Centre.

Mississauga Physio are great to work with. From the reception staff to my massage therapist, Denys, I am always pleased when I leave. Making good progress on my back issues.

I was here after my rotator cuff surgery. Was really happy with the exercise protocol and treatment offered. Slow and steady progress over a few months. I am almost 90% back on track. Thanks to V and her team for all the help and support! Would recommend this place anytime!

Extremely disappointed with one person who works at this office, Sheela. I called on two different occasions to confirm information regarding a surgery that was poorly communicated to me. Both times this receptionist has been extremely rude and impatient. Does not know how to speak with clients in a professional matter.

Very disappointed how my appointment on March 04th was handed. Nobody informed me the office was closed on this particular day (after snow storm). I didn't receive any email or phone call. When I called on Saturday's morning to confirm the time of my appointment, then I heard that clinic is closed. Unprofessional explanation that I should receive the email.

I had my shoulder surgery in December 2022. In the past I have been getting treatments from different Physiotherapy centers since 2016 but I was never satisficed with their services. I found out about this amazing place from my surgeon. When I got here at Mississauga Physiotherapy and Orthopedic center to get my first treatment after my surgery, I got a pleasant surprise to see this center with lots of services, updated equipment, neat and clean place. The staff is highly trained, professional and kind. It will be very unfair if I do not mention some of them. Vaibhavi Satam is amazing.she loves her job and will give everyone a special attention. She is kind supportive and very caring. You can feel that she knows her job and she really loves her job.
Yusra is soooo sweet and kind. She really knows how to bring a smile on a patient's face. She is supper kind and caring. As I needed enough time to learn new exercises and Yusra never rushed me she repeated all the exercises over and over with a beautiful smile on her face until I got mastered.
Fatima (sunny), is also another kind person. She is very hard working and she knows her job. She helped me to learn so many exercises and get better.
In short it is a very nice center and neat center with highly trained professional staff. I will highly recommend it.

Have been visiting MPOC for few months now after two knee surgeries for torn meniscus. The staff at Mississauga Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Center are amazing. Vaibhavi Satam, is knowledgeable, extremely punctual, takes time to explain the procedures and exercises. Always available to answer any questions. The supporting staff, Yusra, Sunny and Sonia are amazing. They take the time to walk you through the various exercises and different machines. Always pleasant and fun to deal with. Thank you for making a difficult time dealing with surgery seem so bearable and making the recovery so much easier. Ahmad

My personal experience at the clinic has been amazing. Dr. Chakravertty performed a procedure on my knee, his bedside manner and professionalism was outstanding. Later I visited the physiotherapist Vaibhavi Satam, who truly helped me get back to my normal self. The skill and care shown by both is highly appreciated and commended.

Dr. James Rofaiel was very helpful and accommodating, he took the time to answer my questions. Surgery went extremely well and my recovery was totally pain free.

My experience with the physiotherapy team to rehab my torn Achilles was great. They have an intensive program that got me up to speed and walking again, all while working and speaking with me to ensure the rehab was progressing smoothly. Very nice staff and willing to accommodate.

Best doctors office I have EVER visited. Staff are friendly, promptly attentive and care that you are dealt with professionally. Always a pleasant experience A rarity in today's doctors offices. Did I say friendly?

This is best place for my knee therapy. Because before this place I been two three places but bad experience but this and therapist V has done best ever had and now feeling so good and improving my knee

What a great team! Vi (Vaibhavi) and her coworkers are a fantastic group. I was treated very well on each visit. Vi really knows her stuff. I had broken my wrist in two places and after the cast was removed I was very doubtful I would ever get full function and flexibility back. After seven visits over several weeks I am very happy with my progress. This is in large part because Vi knew how other parts of my arm and shoulder affected my wrist and how to treat those areas and not just the wrist itself. Very enlightening. I could not be more pleased!

This is a great place when you need to get physio. I was here due to a work place injury that I had with my back, and they were great. I recently hurt my ankle pretty bad, and I came back because this is how good they are here. There main concern is making sure you are 100% ready before going back to work.

Dr. Nguyen and his assistant are the worst medical professionals I have met in Canada. Totally irresponsible

Summary: This is my second period of physio at MPOC following hip surgery (one phase after left hip replacement then one after right hip replacement). Highly successful. MPOC will be my first port of call for any future physio needs.
Details: Reception staff are friendly and are accurate and efficient with booking and billings. Plenty of assistants, exercise machines and aids, and therapy tools. Vaibhavi (my physio) assesses your needs and constructs a clear plan for office therapy and home exercise. Crucially in my view, she is always open to feedback, discussion and revision to the plan based on your experience between or at appointments. As a side note, but important for some, my surgeon has his practice at MPOC and I know the physios can discuss progress and challenges following surgery with the surgeon in question, which helps follow up appointments with both the physio and surgeon.
Opportunities for improvement? I can't think of any right now.

Been seeing Vi for pelvic floor and general physiotherapy for a few months since being referred for my twin pregnancy. She has been amazing at helping me overcome all my aches and pains including sacroiliac pain, neck pain and round ligament pain. Look forward to returning post partum for more pelvic physio to help with my recovery.

Dr. Nguyen is a very aggressive guy. He wants patients in and out like cattle. If you ask questions, he gets frustrated really quickly, and starts becoming rude and sarcastic. I took my grandma in for consultation on a knee surgery, and dealing with Dr Nguyen was a nightmare. He has no patience or kindness. If you want to be able to ask questions about a big surgery, and want your Dr to help you during the process, find another Dr.

I had a knee replacement surgery in November, 2020 and thereafter went for physiotherapy at this centre. The staff is very caring and courteous, they took really good care of me and helped me recover from my surgery in no time! Thank you so much team, I really appreciate your guidance in helping me recover.

I am a patient of Dr. Stephanie Tom from last 3 years, had no problem connecting with her, but with her new secretary it’s becoming miserable for me to connect. I had been suffering from major hip bursitis pain last week, I called her and ask can I speak to dr. Toms replacement, she rudely told me “ hope u get that it’s Friday and and about to 4: 00, we can’t help now” like seriously, what kind of behaviour is this? And btw I called at 2: 30 pm. From last couple of days I am just leaving several voice mails without them calling me back. I just hope supervisors will take strong action against her secretary.

I just completed a six week post knee replacement Physio program here.
I am so pleased with the results. My knee bend and and mobility are excellent. Michele, my Physiotherapist and the Kinesiologists were very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend MPOC to anyone who has had a joint replaced.

You helped restore my right knee from injury. You also taught me specific muscle exercises that have greatly improved my daily quality of life in dealing with my underlying OA.

I was referred here after fracturing my talus and spraining my ankle in spring 2020. I received excellent care from my physio, Vaibhavi Satam, who worked with me on a weekly basis. She tailored my treatment plan to my lifestyle and assisted me with getting back to where I was before the injury! She is kind, patient, and fun to interact with during my sessions:) I highly recommend her as a physio and this clinic location in general.

I recently in Jan 2020 had an ACL reconstruction and I am ecstatic with the results 9 months later. I also had a recurring Pelvic muscle problem that got worse post surgery, and finally decided to get it worked on. I have to say Vaibhavi and Michele have both worked miracles and I am very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend the clinic and will continue finishing my Physio programs here. I have always felt comfortable here, and being a male with a pelvic issue, felling comfortable and actually having the right tools to turn it around has helped incredibly!

At first I was sceptical as most physio places tend to focus more on how much they can get from insurance rather than rehabilitation of the patient but MPOC was completely different. They focused on my recovery and helped me become mobile again. They were smart, informative and above all else, they were beyond helpful. The entire staff are super friendly and amazing at their respective jobs. So grateful to MPOC and if I ever need physio again this is where I will go.

I've returned to the sport of track and field after aprox. 8-9 years, and of course my body hasn't been pushed like that for a while. I've been working out for a solid 2 almost 3 months now, and my legs have been taking a beating due to lack of fitness, flexibility issues, and etc. Throughout this process of getting back into shape. I have been suffering through shin splints, and recently a hamstring injury. The physio team at Mississauga Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Center consisting of Michelle, Vaibhavi, Fatima, and Trevor (Orthopedics) have been incredible (they are all incredible humans). Their attention to detail, , the patience, and their kind/positive energy, has really helped me through this psychologically tough period of recovery. Super encouraging & hard working team with a lot of knowledge, incredible treatment, and they truly make you feel great after every session. My body has been feeling much better! I would 100% recommend Mississauga Physiotherapy to anyone. Thank you!

I had broken my wrist back in January and had just started physiotherapy in early March. My first physio office closed due to the pandemic. The Dr from the hospital referred me here. I am so happy that they are still open and able to assist clients. The staff have all been very kind and helpful. Vaibhavi has been a wonderful physiotherapist. She patiently answered all my questions and gave me very detailed printed instructions for my exercises. My wrist improved dramatically since my first appointment with her. Now I am done my sessions and can continue at home with the info she has given me. I would definitely recommend this office.

Although I did not visit this facility directly I would like to post specifically about Dr. Rajesh Chakravertty CPSO#: 82440.
I was referred to Dr. Rajesh Chakravertty from the ER at Credit Valley hospital. It became apparent to me immediately that this doctor did not care about me as a patient when he came in for 15 minutes, did very minimal physical testing, then dismissed my concern of a potential ACL tear. I had to force him to request an MRI, although his statement was that he does not believe in MRI reports since radiologists "always get it wrong". It was immediately after my meeting with him that I went to get a second opinion through the University of Toronto. The MRI report came back and showed an ACL tear. It is very obvious the this doctor has no experience dealing with sports injuries and should refrain from seeing patients that have suffered ligament tears. His medical training is limited as his ability to interpret MRI reports and the understanding of how MRI works is very limited (Personally an employee of UHN with 2+ years of working in MRI research). I cannot advocate enough a second opinion after seeing this doctor as his knowledge and bedside manners are very poor, and should not be practicing medicine.

The front staff are very friendly and helpful. And the doctor was wonderful. Very kind and professional. Plus you can park there for two hours for free. Which takes an added stress off of your visit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing orthopedic and physiotherapy care!

If I could give less than a star, I would give Mr. Nguyen less than that. I would not call him a doctor.
