Mitchell Field Community Centre

I have used this location to get vaccinated from covid19 as well as getting the 2 boosters. I all those occasions, I was treated nicely by everyone in their stations, from the welcoming people to the final "have a good day" from the security guard at the exit doors. The place was organized and clean.

A excellent place to go for vaccination. The centre is easy to reach and is well equipped to handle a large crowd. The support personnel are extremely friendly and help you out in every way you can.

There are 4 screening booths and about 15 vaccination booths. There is the large area to rest post-application to analyze if anyone has a severe reaction to a vaccine.

The covid vaccination process was pretty thorough but I had to park on the street as parking space over there was, sadly, limited and at full capacity.

A great location with great and very, VERY, nice staff to have your kids vaccinated against COVID-19!

I was so impressed. Every person there said hello. So friendly. It is set up so orderly. I was having trouble walking. My cane wasn't working for me. Before I could speak a gentleman got a wheelchair for me. That was so thoughtful and kind. Best place ever. Cudos to the whole staff.

For COVID vaccination Is just a great place with great people. Excellent for frightened kids. After the first dose, my two kids got courage to get the second without any problem. Thanks to all!

Very organized with nurses and doctors for Covid vaccines. The weight room is closed and I'm sure so will the pool when warm weather arrives.

Prior to COVID, we took our young child to soccer lessons at the community center, and the staff were all very friendly and great with kids. It's also very convenient to get to. The community centre is currently serving as a COVID vaccination clinic, and everything is very organized and efficient; those working there are also very helpful!

5 stars. I've played soccer on the field beside it with some kids, I've been here for covid vaccination & sit on the grass in summer quite often, watching parents with young children, older kids playing ping pong on the stone table outside. Cute little community centre.

Got my COVID booster here. Very good layout and the people were fantastically polite and helpful. Great parking and there’s an area to drop or pick people up.

Went for my vaccine. Managed line very well. Do not come more than 10 mins before your appointment. They won't let you in.

It was being used to administer Vaccination.
Medical team and administrative staff was awesome.

I went to this community centre for my vaccine yesterday but they told me to bring the physical proof of ID or they won't vaccinate me. They didn't do my work with Digital proof of ID.
Poor service.
Not recommended at all.

Wow toke my wife to get her second dose of Moderna their and i was pretty impressed actually very clean very organized and they got a beautiful indoor arena for basketball and more and an outdoor pool witch is also open for the summer.thumbs up!

There are several kinds of facilities an ice link, outdoor pool, fitness room, walking track, outdoor table tennis and so on.

COVID-19 brought me here and glad it did. It's almost a hidden community centre amidst condo towers and massive homes. Has a hockey rink, multi-use courts, had a small wading pool in between and surprisingly even some parking, a small lot on the east side with more spaces on the west side. Liking the stucco and wood facade at the entrance.

Small deck, lots of parking, close to playground/stores. Great pool for the kiddies! 2 year old loved it, she can walk all the way in

I do not understand how are people supposed to keep 6 feet when the pool is packed with people? Better yet y in the heck is the pool open in the first place. Not only that is there not a limit? The ironic thing about it is this is where u go to get your vaccine!

I just got my 1st Covid shot here. The setup was extremely well done. I was nervous. The staff were exceptional & put me at ease. They had greeters, EMT, nurses, cleaners & security all on hand. With a minimal wait time.

Went there today for 2nd dose. Only Moderna available. Pfizer only available for 70+ age. My 1st dose being Pfizer looking for Pfizer 2nd dose too. Wish they had mentioned in website or email. Would have saved my travel.: (

I came here for my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. There's a small parking lot on the west side of the building and a larger one on the east side. There's plenty of signs indicating that this community centre is indeed a mass vaccination site.

There's 2 staff at the entrance to direct people inside. Another staff inside the entrance gives you a coloured sticker to put on your shirt to show which vaccine you'll be receiving (Pfizer or Moderna). Further down another staff gives you a page of COVID-19 screening questions and another with information on the vaccines such as risks of COVID-19, how the vaccines work, vaccine benefits, vaccine ingredients and allergies and side effects.

Once entering the main area (hockey rink) another staff will give you a piece of paper with the time you can leave written on it. Yet another staff will let you know which station to go to for the shot. The registered practical nurse asks which arm you prefer the vaccine. After the shot you go to the designated waiting area to sit for 15 minutes. For the most part you're left to sit and wait but I did see someone in uniform (possibly a paramedic) check and engage in conversation with someone waiting. At checkout the staff prints out confirmation that you've received your vaccine and also emails it to you and gives you a sticker. Right before exiting there's an area to take a selfie for getting your COVID-19 vaccine.

Have your health care handy since almost every staff you encounter will need to scan it.

Nice spacious arena currently used for vaccine clinic. Nowadays not many people line up to get the vaccine, still many staff navigate you promptly which was smooth and kind.

I have booked my appointment for Pfizer for this location.
I took off from work but when I get here 89 Church Ave North York for vaccinations in a rainy day, the security infron entrance door they told me (we don’t have Pfizer today) Only Moderna
If you want Pfizer, with very bad attitude and aggressive way said “go an make another appointment for Pfizer”

Super fast vaccination, scheduled for 3: 40pm, arrived at 3: 10 and was actually left the centre at my scheduled time instead. Super fast and helpful staff.

Had second dose today. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional. Informed at entrance that Moderna for 18+ and confirmed twice during the process that it would be Moderna. I thank all staff for your help and patience. Stay safe and healthy Everyone!

Quick and efficient, no line, they vaccinated quickly and were very friendly. It was extremely hot in the ice rink but I was in and out in under 20 minutes.

I got my shot here today.
Everything was perfect. They provide everything to give the safest and the best experience of getting vaccine.
Do not hesitate to get vaccinated!

COVID VACCINE CENTRE: limited parking, when I was there they had 20 vaccination stations and onky 6 were operating, long line backing out and around the building, clearly not working at efficiant capacity

They are giving out moderna on most days, and there is tall brown lady in the entrance who was yelling to people to rush in the while people from her team are checking our health cards, very rude, she was treating everyone in the line like a sheep! This place was not organized and very rude staff, I just came here because its close to home, wish I didnt. I didnt even find the seats and the other equipment sanitized properly

For those interested, it is now Moderna for 18+today. I wish they could inform in advance. Not wasting appointment and time.

Used as an immunization center, it was clean, very very clean and hosted a bunch of Actual Superheroes, who gave me my vaccine. So, my love and respect.

Received first covid vaccine shot. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Painless experience, except for the shot in the arm.

I got my vaccine today, they were welcoming.
I had a reaction like short breathing, the nurse was caring and help me a lot.

Clean and organized community centre. They have a walking/running track. Each 19 laps is one mile. Also you can use some equipment around the track. Make sure you have extra walking/running shoes as you can't use your street shoes on the track. They also have a weight room. I'm not sure if you need to pay for that. There a basketball court too. They have a schedule for different programs and a summer pool. Changing room, lockers and showers are also available.
