The Mitchell Golf & Country Club is THE place to get married. If I could rate it more then a 5 star I would. The experience with the venue was absolutely perfect from start to finish. They are a beautiful venue and it will not cost you an arm and a leg like most weddings these days. Ellen the event coordinator was always on the ball with replying to me, keeping in contact and getting any of my questions answered. She was such a help with ensuring everything I was invisioning came to life for the day of. She was ontop of everything and really helped run the show the day of without a single hiccup. Judy was also amazing to work, she was incharge of all the food for our wedding and was super flexible with what I wanted my menu to be and was happy to work with my ideas, she helped make sure everything ran smoothly day of.
The guys did golf the course before the wedding and had nothing but good things to say. The course is stunning for photos and has many prime photo spots!
Overall, all the staff at Mitchell Golf & Country Club was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and I couldn't have had a better experience. I can honestly say my wedding day was PERFECT and I couldn't be more thankful to my venue and all the staff at the course who made that happen.
Beautiful course well kept. I spent time in the sand nice and fluffy on all 3 occasions. Had lunch there good menu great staff. Beverage girl was around often always checking to make sure we were okay.
Played here for the first time and enjoyed it. A nice challenge from the back tees with not too much trouble to run into. The front 9 is a little different from the back. The front is a more mature 9 with trees lining the fairways so you have to be a little more careful with your tee shots. The back is newer with a little more room to let it rip off the tee. The greens were good. Not as fast as I like but nice to putt on. Good value here so I will be back for sure.
The course and facilities were in great shape. The front 9 is more mature with tighter fairways, and some terrain on a couple holes. The back is more wide open and has water in play on a couple of holes. Both 9's are generally pretty flat though. No real issues we saw other than there had recently been rain and their bunker drainage doesn't seem very good. Most bunkers, especially on the back, had huge puddles in them and weren't really playable. We luckily only ended up in them a couple of times.
Nice layout with the back nine being more open. Greens are in nice shape and the round moved along, finished in less than 4 hours. Facilities are all in good shape, food at the turn was quick, tasty and reasonably priced.
Nice course. Used an Underpar pass and worth it. Pretty forgiving back 9 as its very open. Front was also open, but did have more mature trees to cause a bit of trouble.
Yard crews were working while we were there, had a few not really give way to golfers on a few holes.
Went there for a morning round of 9 holes. Really nice course with beautifully manicured greens. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back at some point again this summer.
Played a twosome for 18 yesterday for first time. Used Under Par website deal great value here at Mitchell. Course is green, lush in excellent condition and fair but challenging. Fairways green and tees well maintained. Can't wait to play again. Keep up the good work. This is a quality site in every way.
