Miyako Sushi

I ordered the unagi don (BBQ eel on rice). The price was reasonable, they gave more eel than I expected, and it tasted delicious. Currently they don't have seating; it's take out only. There aren't many Japanese restaurants in this neighborhood, so I'm glad that Miyako Sushi is here.

Affordable sushi! Very, very friendly customer service.

We came less than 10 mns before closing and still got the best orders, and made us feel so welcome.

We ordered for a party last evening and we made sure about allergies. Three of us, including myself are allergic to shellfish. (Once I’ve had anaphylactic shock due to shrimp). Despite all flags about this, our order came completely wrong and mixed up with shrimp.

Sushi were freshly prepared and tasty, except for salmon ones. We tried a party tray and it is big enough and good value. The only negative thing is that sushi were oddly cut - some pieces were huge and it was impossible to eat without cutting in half. Will visit again.

Great sushi great pricing. Highly recommend if you live in the area. When they’re busy your order will be late though.

I know the differences in different sushi places as I ate at other sushi restaurants.so when I say this sushi is great quality made. There sushi is filling I was full half way into meal. I am a happy customer with a full belly and money in pocket. I will go back again.

Sushi here is super tasty and fresh. Before I was getting sushi on the delivery apps but calling and picking up here is a much better deal.

This spot provides wonderful service as well as yummy menu. The best spot around here. The meals arrived rapidly and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Sushi is surprisingly great from a hole in the wall like this! Cudos to the staff for their incredible Covid precautions. Always feel safe going in and satisfied after eating.

This is one of my favourite places to eat sushi. They are know well how to please you with their gastronomi. Super testy and not expensive at all.

I didnt like how staff treated us. You can see how unsanitary they prepare the food. Manager was rude.

I come to this superb place every couple of days since I enjoy the special atmosphere that is unique to this place. The crew is extremely helpful and skilfull. The service is deeply efficient. Needless to say, the food they prepare is perfect. I frequent more than once and I was always joyful. The expense is modest. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Was surprisingly good. The place itself is tiny but we couldn't go in, Covid. We had wakame salad, california roll, spicy salmon, sushi pizza and dynamite roll. The sushi pizza and dynamite roll were a little more saucy than I am used to but absolutely delicious. We devoured it in minutes. Price was pretty fair I sont remember what I paid maybe $40 or around there

Service is ok, friendly but a little slow. Prices are on the less expensive side. I got the teriyaki dinner and found the chicken to be a little over cooked and dry. They have one of the best sushi pizza's I've tried though. If you want sushi in this are and don't want to pay Eglinton prices, this is the place to go.

The portions are generous and the food is delicious. It looks like they might have a loyal following in the neighborhood as I see a lot of walk-ins ordering take out. Will definitely return with the rest of the family.

This is a clean small family restaraunt. The food is freshly made looks like family run. Everyone is helpful. The prices are good for the value. Dinners include soup salad rice & your choice of main. Parking available.

Excellent service and food quality. Service can be slow sometimes but overall great place with reasonable prices.

Reasonable value. Nothing special, but for the neighborhood it is not bad for takeout. I have not tried any sashimi here though (as I usually don't eat sashimi). I enjoy the dinner bento boxes - good value (though prices recently went up a bit).

Even though you can dine in, this is a takeout place. The interior is not as good as their sushis. Service is okay and Sushi is just superb! Not only the taste, variety but the size was huge. I love it.

Update: we came 2 years later and the quality still is there! Sushis are HUGE and tasty! We had the Black Dragon, Green Dragon and the Rocky Roll. All of them, delicious, with a great presentation and great timing!

The service has considerably improved. They are sooo nice! I highly recommend them for dine in or take out!

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we found this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful time there with first-rate dishes and a courteous stuff and a great cuisine. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely return soon. We highly recommend.

Decent sushi for takeout though I come more for convenience than the actual quality. The sushi comes with large amounts of rice, but the rolls, lunch sets, and pretty much everything else is good.

This is my Go To place as it's pretty nearby. By far the best Value for money sushi place! Lovely food! Amazing taste!

The atmosphere was stale and kind of creepy with very dim lights, but the food was very good. I asked for a specific handroll dish that they didnt have in the menu, and they happily accommodated my almost unreasonable request. The head chef remembered me from when I used to frequent the place, and it's great.

Decent place, decent sushi. Pretty slow service. Been twice.waited too long both times. Probably a touch too expensive. Will likely not return.

Very slow service! Waited for almost an hour to complete our orders. Their excuse was that they are busy. They should have not taken our orders if they can't serve it on time as promised.

Poor and slow service! They said food will come in 15 minutes but we waited for more than 30 mins and still food never came. When we followed up with our order, they said it will come for another 10 to 15 mins. They prioritize take out customers and dine in customers last.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. We truly liked the ambience of this spot. Extraordinary spot to take the family out for lunch.

It use to be only sushi place in the neighborhood and it is still the only one to deliver. Food quality is average but it is convenient and good price.

Great sushi but DO NOT order delivery as it took one hour Forty five minutes for delivery. Totally unacceptable.
