Mobile Music Lessons

Carl is an exceptional educator and musician who shares with his students a love and appreciation for learning music. He has devised a curriculum and a fun and flexible approach that meets the students at their level and motivates them to keep at it. He encourages them to ask questions and his has really drawn them in with his use of technology as a teaching tool in class. After class, the online student portal provides access to more songs and videos/examples to guide their practice. Carl's approach to in-home piano lessons is a game-changer and my kids have never been more excited to learn piano.

My son learnt to play the Ukulele with Carl and it was the best decision for us. He is the most talented, patient and committed teacher one could ask for. He has a passion for music and it comes across during every lesson. It inspires the students beyond just learning to play an instrument. My son started very young and Carl ensured that the lessons were engaging and fun to sustain his attention. He has a way to connect with the students and maintains a fine balance of being a friend and a teacher at the same time. I highly recommend Carl and Mobile Music Lessons!

Carl has been with us for at least 3 years now, if not more and I have to admit that he is one of the most dedicated teachers I have come across. I appreciate that he has always tried his best to put his individual effort on each child, based on their specific learning styles and needs and tries innovative techniques to work with all kinds of kids. My 10 year old looks forward to his piano class every Wednesday and practices during the week on his own to improve his learning. He is very punctual and very meticulous with the payments so that there are never any mistakes and miscommunications which I appreciate being a busy mom of multiple kids. A small example of his dedication is that he personally drove and showed up on my son's piano exam with a box of chocolates knowing how nervous my son would be and that made a huge difference on his performance:)

His lessons with more advanced students sound like jam sessions, and he will patiently walk a beginner through the fundamentals as many times as needed. He is able to teach multiple instruments and is committed to making sure kids enjoy playing the songs they learn. It's been a great experience.

Carl is an excellent teacher, very passionate and with a lot of patience to teach kids. He has been teaching - in our home each week- to my little son since almost a year. He is funny and happy during each lesson keeping my kid attention. When you talk with him and he explaining what he was doing during lesson, you seen he is very knowledge in music field and how learning works in children. Now he is teaching me, and I really enjoy it.

This is our third year with Mobile Music Lessons. The owner Carl who teaches piano is a kind, flexible and patient teacher. My son enjoys his teaching style and has learned a lot from him. Since he has been taking lessons through Mobile Music his piano skills have improved and he enjoys playing the piano more. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have been taking lessons for a few years now and my boys enjoy it a lot. Not only does the teacher come to our home for the piano lessons (or sometimes guitar lessons!), he even connects his tablet to our television so our kids can see the written music as large as they need to in order to understand concepts taught. It's pretty cool! He also streams music from other online sources this way so my kids can hear what the song they're learning should sound like. The teacher often 'draws' on the sheet music which helps with their comprehension. Once the piano lesson is over, my son can access their online classroom any time he wants to. Our younger son has been studying the ukulele with Mobile Music Lessons. All of the curriculum is online so we can use our own computer, or we can simply print anything on there and never have to worry about misplacing the homework. This definitely saves me time given I am so caught up with my own business I cannot always drive all over town for one more extra-curricular activity. I would definitely recommend this service to other parents who are looking for decent music lessons for their kids

My daughter has been learning piano with mobile music for a few years now. They have excellent teachers who are very well qualified. After learning how to read music my daughter began to really love playing the piano. I love that they come to our house - always on time and very professional! I highly recommend them.

Carl has been teaching my kids now for almost a year. They look forward to the lessons and enjoy his fun teaching style and the creative music he assigns them to play! I would recommend him to anyone who is trying to get their kids to enjoy music!

My daughter has been taking lessons with Carl at Mobile music for the past couple of months. She has made great progress in a short time! The convenience of having him come to our house has also been very helpful.
