Very poor experience! ! He even said something about "high-end furniture" to himself. It's actually a small family business. The policy in their store is that items can be returned or exchanged within three days of placing an order, and then there is a final deal. As a customer, I respect your policy. What happened if I changed my mind within three days? When asked why I wanted to return the product, I said there was something else that was more suitable. What happened? Laughing at customers' choices confirms that you are a small cheap shop. I feel like they will laugh at you even if you choose Hermès or have other reasons to return it. After all, this is the layout of a small cheap store. Chargeback is the customer's choice, not your ridicule! Stupid local dogs don’t even come here. If they don’t know how to do business, just get out!

Brand new leather sofa sat for 16 days and stitches on sitting area were broken. Call them, technician fixed with poor quality. Offerred $500 off as is! NO choice but full refund. Wasting time for waiting the sofa came to my house and all the documentation!

Just literal garbage. I order a table in July, they confirmed that they will delivered it to me in dec 15, but I’ve been waiting for it for 7 days more than I should be. They use different bs reasons to explain why they can’t deliver the table to me, sometimes even don’t explain and tell me to reschedule. There’s no reason for us to buy anything here, the products are not even cheap and customer services are really poor.

I had a wonderful experience at Mobilia. My sales rep Niyousha was extremely helpful, patient, friendly and thorough with my purchases and even went the extra mile to help me look for discontinued items. She responds quickly to my enquires via text and email and always greets me with a big smile each time I visit Mobilia whom is now my go to sales representative. DO NOT SHOP HERE. NOT PET/DOG FRIENDLY. LACK OF RESPECT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY. RUDE EMPLOYEES.

Truly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Mobilia does not care about you as a customer, they only care about taking your money.

We had an issue with our bed frame (which costed $4000+) and needed a replacement part. The delivery was 2 hours later than the expected delivery window and when the delivery people arrived, they said “I do not care that we’re late”. Prior to the delivery, we had requested shoe covers to be worn to be accommodating as we have 2 dogs and will have some dog hair on the floor. Mobilia continues to ignore our request and does not bring shoe covers. When asked to take off their shoes, they CALLED OUR HOME DIRTY and then RUDELY told us to "vacuum the floors in 5 minutes or I'm leaving". In addition to calling our home dirty, they threatened us. Due to their rude attitude and sheer lack of respect, we declined the shipment.

I truly regret my purchase and would never shop here again.

This was our first time going into Mobilia; our friend recommended that we go there as they told us they had a lot of options and original selections to choose from.
Our experience at Mobilia Markham was terrific.
We dealt with Ron. He showed us all the options with what they had, and when we finally came down to the ones we wanted. He was really patient with us when we were trying to figure out what fabric we wanted on the sofa and how to customize it. Not only did he do a perfect job in the store, but he helped us to match the price and regularly followed up on the shipping progress through email as well. We are thrilled with our purchase, and we will definitely come back to Mobilia!

Would give zero stars if that was an option.
The atrocity I experienced dealing with this company is unfathomable. The delivery staff is undeniably the most disrespectful being possible.

Not only did they not respect my home, Covid safety concerns, they out right insulted us. They did not wear shoe covers when explicitly asked to do so. Failed to apologize for arriving later than the stated delivery window and verbally harassed me. I felt so threatened that I sternly asked the delivery staff to leave the premises.

The lack of trained customer serving skills was not only apparent, so was the lack in basic human decency.

I do not recommend purchasing from this company. You do not deserve to be harassed or disrespected in the manner that I did. Save yourself the horror.

The after-sales process is not good at all.

I purchased a modular sofa Sept 2021. I picked it up in November 2021. Process was smooth until we went to go pick up the sofa, brought it home, and unwrapped it. Invoice says two Left side sofas, but we were given a Left and a right. We contacted the store right away and sent pictures. The store and distribution center was helpful initially on the exchange for the proper sofa side.then it all went downhill from there. NO communication or updates whatsoever. I have now been patiently waiting for almost 8 months. Still the issue is not resolved. I still do not have the correct sofa that I paid for and no one contacting me about the exchange.

Getting a hold of them was difficult and when I do get a hold of them they provide false dates on multiple occasions. They also said they would contact me when these dates come to set up for exchange…never happened. I always have to be the one taking the time to get updates. I paid a few grand for a sofa, ended up not getting what I paid for as the product they gave me was incorrect and I have to be the one following up? !

I work in the sales and service industry. I get it…inventory shortage, supply chain, shipping issues, etc. I have to make these calls to my clients every day. However, communication is key and catering to your client’s expectations.

I do not know the logistics regarding the production of a sofa, but the logistics of getting a car built in Germany that consists of thousands of components and have it shipped all the way overseas to Canadian soil, in general, takes about 6-8 months even with this inventory shortage.
I do not understand how a sofa would take just as long…

Most clients are quite aware that there is a wait time for just about anything these days; however, with no communication and resolution of issues along the way, this is just bad business practice which will ultimately lead to unsatisfactory customer service.

I rarely give one star reviews, but the pent up frustration and lack of service are justified in this situation this company is putting me through.

My wife & I love the styles of furniture in Mobilia; we also like their good services.it was a pleasure meeting Ron, Sales Consultant in Markham Mobilia location. He served us this time. Super friendly guy and try to understand what customers need and what we are looking for, prior starting to tour us what were available in the show room and on the Web site. We finally took his advice and pre-ordered the furniture we need so quickly.

We ordered the Funktion couch over the phone from the downtown location (not available in the store at that time) and paid in-store at this location. The styles are very nice and plenty of modern pieces with decent pricing. There are, however, quite a few staff members at any given time just standing around watching and waiting to get you to buy something.

Update: Delivery way very late and they brought a piece from the wrong order. Very difficult to solve and get our correct piece.

Full experience: This couch was ordered specifically for the design and fit in our townhouse, and we really loved it. On the day of delivery, I was provided a window of 3 hrs when the crew would show up. To my disappointment the crew did not show up until 3 hours after the latest delivery hour promised. On arrival late at night, the crew was good to bring the items up but we had an issue with fitting things through the stairway. The crew detached our railing (later we discovered an issue with that) and helped us bring the items up and left. As soon as they left and we were unwrapping, we immediately realize they had only delivered half of our couch, and the second item delivered was from an entirely different set. The receipt showed our right order so I'm not sure what happened. It took at least 2-3 phone calls to figure out what and why this happened, and for them to come up with a solution - they initially wanted us to return the entire order. Finally a few weeks later we got our second delivery (also late!) and the crew removed the incorrect piece. A very drawn out and frustrating process.

Loved and still love the couch, hated the process of getting it into our home.

I have always loved the style and designs offered at Mobilia. I called the store with an inquiry before I made the long drive to ensure that they had the piece that I was looking for on the floor. Ron what the sales associate that answered! We had the pleasure of going into the store this past weekend to get furniture for our living room and Ron was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about his products and helpful in making final decisions with no pressure to buy. If you are are headed to the store make sure to find RON on the floor.

This one star review isn't really to Mobilia but to their third-party delivery company 6IXSIDE DELIVERY. We had white gloves delivery service for our sofa. The delivery guy Mark and his team damaged my wall during delivery, but we did not notice until after they left (we signed the paper saying no damage because we did not see it at first). We noticed the damage right after they left and contact Mobilia the same day. Mobilia quickly directed us to Mark's secretary (?) from 6IXSIDE DELIVERY. Mark first agreed to paid us a small portion of the damage (maybe 10% of the fix), because he remembered he forced the sofa in, we did not accept that because he should be 100% responsible. Then his secretary said they will get back to us. Guess what, they just ghosted on us and avoiding our calls. We switched a number and called again, they responded quickly and denied everything they agreed on and lied about the damage not caused by them. What a dishonest company. Mobilia furniture is good, but if you are paying for white gloves, BE CAREFUL!

Delivery and customer service is awful. They unboxed leather couch before bringing it into house dropped it on concrete steps. Waited 1 year for replacement came in ok this time but legs different colours and offered me $200 to keep mismatched pieces told them no return originals and offer me compensation. Showed up today with no phone call. So done with it want refund.
Sales staff Jessica and manager of store helpful but they need to get rid of delivery and customer service staff.

After so many trips back and fort to other store from GTA finally we get to the Mobilia Furniture Design Gallery in Markham last Friday and we purchase an amazing sectional leather sofa for our living room. We think it was our lucky day that their salesperson design named Cheli (Rachel) Meir
who is the nicest, very professional, patient person you can ever imagine,
took care of us. She gave us all the information we needed to find what we
looking for. The whole experience was so amazing and uplifting that left a lasting impression on us and because of it we gonna share those things

I ordered some dining furniture last June at the shop. The estimated delivery schedule was the end of Oct due to being out of stock, but I accepted. Although there was another unexpected delay, I've never complained because everything has been delayed in the current situation. After five months, the delivery man finally arrived at home and started explaining that some parts of the dining table were missing from their warehouse. If so, he could not begin their WHITE GLOVE SERVICE, which their sales consultant highly recommended. I was frustrated for the first time, but there was no choice. He just left with nothing delivered, and I got another call the next day that the manufacturer in China had unshipped the hardware part of the table, and they can't guarantee the next shipment until next YEAR! I kept asking them to do something to finish the order, but they just kept telling me that they couldn't do anything for me. They gave me two options: - To give me a refund or to find another table in their shop. I could not speak any word over the phone. They wasted my five months without giving me anything. I felt they (MOBILIA)  work even more petite than childrenplay, and I didn't see any professional attitude from them all that time. I want to share this because it can happen to any one of you at anytime. The only thing they were concerned about was the payment ON TIME.

Please be aware that Mobilia’s ACACIA WOOD FURNITURE MAY CONTAIN LIVING CREATURE (Possibly TERMITES according to the noise from the bed frame).

We ordered a set of JURA (1 bed, 2 nightstands and 1 dresser) from the Markham store in December 2020, initially was told the delivery date would be mid-March. However, we have waited until mid-June to actually receive our furniture. Considering the business impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not going to complain about this delay, but I think it is worth noting as a fact.

The wood furniture comes with a strong smell, so we just let them sit for a month. The first night we enjoyed the new bed, a ticking/grinding noise immediately caught our attention. Assuming it may result from the instability of the new bed frame, we just let the bed settle itself. However, the noise got louder after couple weeks, and we couldn’t sleep well because of the grinding noise from time to time during the entire night.

One night around 12: 30 am, we eventually lost our patience and decided to take the bed apart, trying to figure out where exactly this sound came from. It came from a spot near one of joint screws on the bottom of the left bed rail (the location is indicated in red on the picture, the screw hole opening looks different from the others) where the nearby frame surface showing small cracks and warp becomes really soft (wood dust easily falls off when being touched with fingertip near that screw hole). The possibly reasonable guess that we came up was that sound might come from something living in the frame chewing the wood and gradually eating away at the bed frame from time to time, therefore wood decay is observed near that discovered joint screw. WE ALSO TOOK A FEW VIDEOS, WHICH CLEARLY SHOWED THAT THE GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM THE LEFT RAIL DURING THE MIDNIGHT WAS CRAZY LOUD!

After addressing this issue to our sales consultant Jessica (a very nice and patient lady), she connected us with the service team. A technician visited our house 2 days later, he was nice and patient too, but he was not equipped with proper tools to detect what really happens inside the frame. For scenarios like this, I think we should NOT purely reply on visual inspection on the surface. After we showed him the videos, he was also sure that the noise came from a termite. Therefore, it would be really bad if we wait until the holes appear on the surface of the bed frame, if so, other wood furniture even the house structure may be exposed to infection as well.

The only offered solution from Mobilia customer service is an exchange of the left rail, but we must wait until November to have the parts in stock. Seriously, who is willing to take the risk and the potential consequence of having this infected wood sitting in our house for another 4 months! We then had to ask them to get the parts from their floor model as a temporarily solution and still wait for the parts replacement to be shipped to us in November.

Since all my JURA furniture came from the same batch, I am still concerned with other parts of the furniture, ARE THEY POTENTIALLY INFECTED AS WELL? We are still frustrated that Mobilia cannot give us a certain answer on that and CANNOT EVEN GUARANTEE THAT THEIR SOLID WOOD PRODUCTS ARE FREE OF BUGS, given the fact that they don’t have any equipment to run the test on the furniture.

We bought a L shap from them, after one year leather started shedding on some spots, the head rest and one of the side Handel hardware started malfunction. We called over a year ago and ask for it to be fixed since it is on warranty, they said they will arrange and nothing yet, we called 3 times and they just give us a run around. Be really careful buying from them.

Nice modern design! We really liked the unique look of all furniture, and since we were moving to a house, we ordered the entire set from the bedroom to the living and dining room. Niyousha Amini worked with us very closely for hours to pick the suitable model and size. She followed up a few times with us after our purchase on her own and did a great job as a sales and design consultant.

However, unfortunately, the delivery date keeps pushed out due to the COVID situation, and we moved to the house with no furniture for more than a month. I call the store and got a chance to talk to one of the store managers, Megan. She is a super professional manager who worked a lot to send us a few parts ready in the warehouse. She followed up and made sure we are satisfied as a customer. A team of professionals then delivered the furniture and installed them clean and nice. I was pleased with the white glove service that was recommended and set by Niyousha.

Harvinder from the warehouse customer care contacted me in regard a scratch on the bed with a couple of options. It is nice to see such professional customer service from Mobilia while lots of large size game players in the same industry are not keeping up with the service as before during this difficult time for everyone.

Mobilia, you gathered a great team who deserve a five-start. I defiantly recommend the brand and the service, especially at the Markham store.

Unbelievable service! I called from Ottawa because the Markham Mobilia store was the only one that had a one of a kind piece of furniture. I talked to Eva who within just a few hours managed to locate the piece and secure it for me, even went as far as to send me photos of the piece to ensure I liked it and so that I could inspect it. Just top notch service!

The furniture is very good, the price is very good, the delivery is very good, all the staff are very good, only the manager (seems to be an Indian woman) is very bad. I have two experiences of buying furniture in this store. The feeling of the two experiences is the same, that is, the manager is impatient or even rude to customers. She is more reluctant to help her employees, she seems to be a competitor of her employees, rather than a team manager. When I bought furniture for the second time, my salesperson asked her for help several times because of a printer problem during payment, but she ignored it at all. She was watching a mobile program and was laughing all the time. No professional manager was the most Basic professionalism, I don’t know how she became a manager. I hope that my opinion can get the attention of Mobilia management, such a manager will only discredit your brand.

We recently bought 2 sofas at the Markham Location. We have to say what an amazing experience, from attention to detail, to delivery, an absolute 5 star customer experience in finding exactly what you need. Tat Mang was so attentive, detailed oriented and gave us all of his time. He asked the head office for things that were not featured and made it happen. I have to say this. THANK YOU TAT FOR ALL YOUR TIME! Not pushy at all, just really the most genuine salesperson out there, he gets it! Our delivery service was on time. Mark and Ricky gave us a time frame, and called that they would be slightly early if that was ok. We were home so they were here and gone within like 45 mins? Answered all our questions and fast as heck! Door to door white glove service at it's best! To be honest, if other customers are not at home for the delivery service when they agreed to be there, then it makes others fall behind. If you go with Mobilia, (Markham location), you have nothing to worry about. We can't wait for our second sofa to arrive! Mobilia thank you for all your professional staff, from the sales department to delivery, altogether a great experience!

Very bad experience there. We purchased a $1,900 sofa at the store, when we asked for financing, the sales person Eva Zhu told us the minimum requirement for applying finance is $3,000. A very unprofessional and lying sales!

Despite the price is reasonable comparing with other luxury furniture stores, the salesperson that served me, James, is very helpful and patient. He not only gave advice to me about what kind of pieces i may need, but arranged detailed delivery of the furniture i ordered and followed up afterwards.

My husband and I went to this store as at least 4 of our friends have purchased furniture of their entire home from Mobilia. We bought adorable living room and dining room furniture! And the sales representative James brought us great purchase experience! James could make professional suggestions about color and style based on his experience as sales for years and pictures of our home. We really appreciate his ideas as none of us know anything about home designs. While we took time making our final decisions, James followed up with us and kindly answered all our concerns. We never felt pushed or ignored! After we made our payment, their warehouse called me within half an hour and scheduled a delivery date within a week! Two days before the arranged date, I got notifications of a specific 3-hour delivery window from a phone call and a text message at the same time. We received our orders on time, and the delivery team was very polite, efficient and professional! I highly recommend James and I will recommend Mobilia to all my friends because of their amazing service!

Had a wonderful experience at the Markham location. Jessica was fantastic and very knowledgeable of the products. I was able to complete the purchase via email with her directly. We picked up the furniture at their warehouse and also experienced great customer service. We were a little hesitant purchasing from them due to all the bad reviews but and super pleased that we went ahead with it anyway. The sofas and chair are so comfortable - our place looks amazing. Would definitely go back with confidence.

I brought Bed and sofa two days ago spend close to $5000. Delivery department called me my address outside GTA. They can’t delivery on the promised data on the invoice. But this company already charge me $250 for delivery fee. I went back to the store today November 15 at 4: 45pm. They told me store manager and assistant store manager already when home. How can be no manager at the store? And I saw two or three sales person sitting around doing nothing. Just like coffee club. I can tell this company will close down soon. I am not recommend this store at ALL. And worst delivery department

Bad Company, Don't buy. Well the company operations are not well organized, very small operation in GTA. They dont have a clue about good customer service. Mobilia dosent have much staff to deal with customer issues and delivery /pickup is the worst. Please dont opt for this store to buy. Items are expensive for the kind of service they provide in toronto/mississauga. I have first hand experience on rude and dont care attitude from their staff.

I recently purchased a beautiful leather sofa set, as well as wing chairs and accessories from Mobilia. The experience was so seamless thanks to Cheli.
She was such a great help during this process.
She was patient and really tried to understand what our style and needs were - she suggested items we otherwise wouldn’t have chosen and I appreciate that.
Most importantly you could see that she genuinely cared and wasn’t just concerned about making a sale. I will always look out for Cheli when making future purchases at Mobilia! We love the way out living room looks!

We had an awful experience with Mobilia. I don't recommend it to anyone. We ordered a bedroom set from the store. They delivered it to us a week later, both nightstands and the dresser had cracks all over them.when we went to the store for the refund we noticed that the store models also had cracks. It was then that we were sure they knew about that particular set that has the problem. They use all kind of tricks to sell you their products. Surprisingly, they even wanted to charge the delivery fee! Unbelievable!

Update 1, following the marketing team comment: I did send my contact information for them to contact me and still haven't heard from them (one week is past)!

Update 2, three weeks past and the marketing team never contacted me! Please DON'T believe their responses to the reviews.

Just went there today to take a look at a new sectional sofa. Their product line is very modern and styles are very trendy. However nothing that really stands out as a must buy. The sales were very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Look for products that are on sale, it's not a bargain but fair.

It's best store for Modern Furniture and sales team are always honest with customer especially Calvin Lau he offer us best suggestions and great service. I have been many top Furniture Store in Toronto but I found Mobilia is best as they have great designs and resealable cost. Must visit if your looking Modern Design Furniture

We love the style and quality of the furniture collection at Mobilia! And with reasonable price! The sales person Eva went above and beyond to help us find a perfect king bed and a dining buffet.

Worst experience ever buying furniture for the first time from Mobilia. I ordered a king size bed, booked a U-hual van to pick the bed from their warehouse, came home opened the box and during assembly found out that slates wouldn't fit. They sent incorrect (wrong size) slates with the bed.

Their customer services team is closed on a weekend and now I have to wait two days to get this fixed. We moved in to a new house, my wife is pregnant and we had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. They killed our excitement.

Pathetic experience. Waiting to be compensated for this ordeal.

Furniture has many scratches and crack retired 2 times for exchange and it should be the last time I purchase in Mobilia.

It's a terrible experience. We ordered the bed and waited for two weeks for delivery. It's not until the delivery date we were told the bed is damaged and won't be delivered until June. We have family member coming over to stay and that's why we bought the bed. It totally ruined our plan and put us in a awkward position.

The delivery is bad. We bought a bed 3 weeks ago and received a phone call on the day of delivery saying that the bed is damaged and we have to wait another 3 month.will never buy anything from here again.

Bought most of my furniture from here, the sales person was nice and courteous. The white glove service was very good, put together all the furniture for us. Modern and quality furniture for a good price.

I bought a marble table from Mobilia. Every Time they delivered is a damaged table. In the past half year, they delivered defective table 6 times, and took it back. Until to now I have not received a complete table. Is it very difficult to check it out before delivery? Everytime I have to ask a whole day off to stay at home waiting the table. It's really waste my time. Who will compensate for my loss?
