Nothing is better than walking into a furniture store that doesn’t over whelm you with “sales” people. Mobilia made me feel at ease purchasing a new sofa. I dealt with Jon and he was fantastic, friendly and patient. Jon also followed up with me to make sure the sofa fit in the area I was worried about. This is my new furniture store! Love the quality too!

My first Mobilia furniture purchases were made 20 years ago. The styles, quality and colours surpass all other furniture I have purchased. The items below were purchased a few weeks ago as we have down sized to condo living!
Atie Manka was our sales assistant who patiently spent a couple of hours with us as we mulled over the endless possibilities. Atie is one of a kind, warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable not just about all the products but she was also able to assist with some of our decor ideas. So if you ever visit Mobilia in Burlington, I highly recommend Atie!

We’ve always loved Mobilia furniture but disappointed with the staff at the Burlington store. On two visits to the store, nobody even came to offer any help or show us what we wanted. We’ve had a much better experience in another Mobilia elsewhere and would prefer to drive the distance for the great customer experience they provide.

We recently purchased a couple of 6-drawer-dressers from Mobilia Burlington and it was a pleasure to deal with Atie Manka. Atie is a knowledgeable Sales/Design consultant and a very professional person to deal with. We also received a pleasant surprise with the shipping date, we were originally advised it would be delivered in August, but then Atie notified us and advised the dressers were ready for delivery in May. Everything fell into to place and they look great in our bedroom. Thank you for you assistance!

We recently bought a bed with help from Atie at this location. The bed is great and was delivered quickly. Atie also helped us out by letting us take advantage of a Black Friday sale even though we'd purchased a couple weeks earlier.

Bought a house and didn't own a dining table, went to mobilia found one we loved, placed order on Aug 6th. When we were in the store we were told they had one in the warehouse and the estimated delivery would be end of August.a little later than we wanted, but ok we can wait a couple weeks. We go home, think about it for a few hours and then call to place the order over the phone we are told delivery is actually first week of September, again.not ideal but ok, fine.

The table is meant to be delivered next week as per the above but I haven't heard anything from mobilia so I call in only to find out the estimated delivery is now the last week of September and that's not a guarantee. We have now been a month without a dining table and have to wait another month, which again.isnt a guarantee.

If the date isn't moved up I will be very disappointed, if the date is pushed again beyond September I will be cancelling the order.

Mobilia shouldn't be taking full payment at the time of sale if they can't guarantee a delivery date. They should a deposit and charge cash on delivery.

I wanted to love Mobilia, I wanted to be a repeat customer - but this just isn't it.

I had a great experience with Charles with my purchases. I got a dinning room as well as a sectional sofa table and console.

My experience was amazing. Though we had some issues they were solved promptly.

Charles, thank you for making my process easy and thank you for your help and quick response anytime I needed a clear understanding.

The whole team is amazing and great customer service. Very please with the delivery the ladies scheduled my delivery to accommodate my schedule.

Very happy with our new rug purchase! We lucked out on a great price and top quality. Beth Hudson, sales consultant at Mobilia Burlington walked us through the entire store, and helped us find the exact rug we wanted, hidden deep in the warehouse. The whole experience was great, and we're glad we came buy, and will again in the future!

I purchased a bedroom set to be delivered next week. Beth was amazing and I would give a 5 star but there’s an issue with the delivery option. I wanted just the delivery which is $70 but because I’m in Hamilton they can only offer the $140 delivery which includes putting the bed together. I have no choice in that matter because I live in Hamilton. Note I actually live in Waterdown which is part of Hamilton, I am 2.5 km from Burlington, 10 min if not less from the Burlington store. Angry and NOT impressed!

I am adding to this post hours later. I went in to see Beth Hudson to pay balance of my bill and mentioned my issue with delivery option. She said ‘let me see what I could do’ she truly is a genuine person and awesome! She is all about customer service, has a lot of knowledge about designing/decorating. She made me a happy customer dealing with my issue. Thank you Beth, I can’t wait for my bedroom set.

We went into Mobila looking for seating for a small space. Beth Hudson met us with a friendly smile and immediately understood what we needed. She has a friendly manner and she made the process very enjoyable. We would highly recommend her for your purchases because she has good design and decor sense.

Honestly horrible, worst staff and management. Products were all late and damaged. Had oil on my couches from white glove service. Return and exchange is unbelievably garbage they won’t notify you that it’s ready for delivery and will be sitting there at there facility getting damaged. Also wait time is well over 7 months on returns. Do your self a favour and go somewhere els every review with one star I read was correct

After 20+ years of robust (translate cheap but hardy) furniture, now that our energetic boys are in their late teens, my husband & I decided to indulge and treat ourselves to some grown-up furniture this Christmas. We were very pleased with the dining set we got from Mobilia a couple of years ago, so it was no-brainer going back to Mobilia for our living room set.

After a bit of a wait time (thanks to covid-related SCM issues), this morning, we were thrilled to finally have our sofas and coffee table happily set up in our home. They look amazing! The delivery and 'white-glove' service was impeccable and we are so pleased with the two gentlemen who almost broke their backs carrying these heavy items into our home. We are so thankful for them, given the crazy schedule they must have during this busy festive season.

Charles Lam is a top notch sales & design consultant, with his professional knowledge nicely packaged with a genuine and sincere personal touch. He's definitely gone above and beyond his call of duty in helping us find the right pieces of furniture.

Thank you so much to Charles and the delivery crew for your excellent service! We will be back again soon:)

Bought a beautiful leather couch in March. Told we would get it in May. Didn’t get it until July. It came in with cat scratches. Asked for a replacement. They have said the replacement would be in September. Called numerous times. Now they are saying replacement won’t come until January.

I'v been Mobilia's costumer for years and I love their furniture and their customers service, but I don't recommend to visit Burlington location. After waiting for about 2 months to get my side table I got it with some scratches.i contacted the Manger Assistant she said that she is gonna call me back. Unfortunately, she ignored me. I tried to call the store for many times to talk to the Manger Assistant but their answer was "She is not in the office she will call you tomorrow". I had to call the costumer service to complain about it and they got me a new table immediately.

Worst experience ever! The installation guys came into our place and refused to help my girlfriend move her mattress and the box out of the bedroom. So my girlfriend who only weights about 100lbs, has to move the queen size mattress and box out of her bedroom all by herself while two grown men stood there and watched her.

Very bad and rude customer service, I bought $6000 couch and they offered me the delivery and assembly for free and when the guys came to my home they asked me to pay him $300 cash or he will return the item with him.
And the very gentleman customer service guy he said it’s not our problem they’re a third party you should deal with him.
So I’m ending up with the infinite loop each department blaming the other.
The items are great but the customer service is the worst.
Knowing that’s I purchased in less than one month 3 items worth more than $8500.

Very bad experience. We were looking for a reclining leather sofa in grey color and liked one at Mobilia, Burlington store in June 2021. The sales rep said that we are lucky that they still have one in stock in grey color and confirmed that we will get it delivered in two weeks. We also enrolled for their flexiti card and were there for almost an hour. From beginning to end the sales rep was saying that they have it in stock. After a few days I contacted their distribution center to enquire about my delivery and they told me that I will get it by the end of September as it is out of stock. They asked me to speak to the sales rep. I contacted her again and explained everything to her on which she denied everything saying that she never said it that it will get delivered in two weeks. I reminded her our whole conversation and later she accepted that she did say that it will get delivered in 2 weeks. In a couple of days she confirmed that it was a technical glitch in their system and they do not have it in stock and it will be delivered in September.

I am very disappointed and feel cheated because just to make a sale she misinformed us. If we had known about the delivery time in advance we would have taken our decision accordingly. We bought a new house and have a family gathering in July and we do not have a couch in our living room just because of them. We were getting similar couches from other stores which later sold out and now we can’t do anything about this situation. They even started our flexiti installments for payout. I wish I would have not ignored the poor ratings and reviews of Mobilia, Burlington store. We will never go back there.

Excellent choice of furniture. We bought 2 sofa seats about 15 years ago and came back again when we wanted to replace them. Very professional staff. Furniture was available on promise date and they also adjusted the price since the price was reduced in the meantime - no hassle - they very genuinely happy to do it. Communication between team members is excellent (you speak with one of them one day and the second team member knew everything about your conversation next day). Phone was answered every single time we called in no time - I never had to leave a message. We will definitely come again.

I ordered a couch that unfortunately was unable to be fulfilled in a reasonable timeframe due to manufacturing backlogs during COVID.
That said, I would definitely revisit Mobilia again in the future.
The service I received from Dena was 10/10. Her follow up and diligence with communication about timing was above and beyond what I could expect. I would highly recommend working with her if you get the chance.

Love the products but like many of the complaints on here, customer services is a big no. No one approached us, staff weren’t busy with other customers. Even when we approached a sales person she seemed very annoyed and wasn’t interested in helping which made us felt really upset. We were interested in purchasing a few pieces but because how disappointing the customer service were we then left the store and purchased at somewhere else.

I would like to provide everyone my shopping experience with Mobilia/Designer Gallery. Please read carefully before you buy anything from this store.

In December 2019, we entered the store in hopes of getting the best client service and products out there in the market. The sales rep we met is called Rand Al Sheikh. We discussed specifics and she advised us on all the furniture we liked and placed an order on that basis in December 2019. As per the sales rep, all the furniture should be delivered within 3 months.
In February 2020, the first delivery arrived and thats when problems started. The first delivery we received had damaged items. As per the sales rep, they agreed to request an exchange for the items as soon as possible.
We have been struggling back and forth with the sales rep, Customer Experience Supervisor (Arnold Ramoutar) and After Sales Service Representative (Vish Balchand). The real issue is that we send emails about problems that have been happening withour deliveries, but we are not receiving any real responses. The responses, we get are based on future hopes only and there are no viable solutions that were proposed. We hoped to finalize all the deliveries before asking for our right, which is to exchange any damaged items or receive credit for damaged items that are unexchangeable, because the store can not order anymore of those items (calling them out of stock items). We received our final delivery in September 2020,6 months after the promised delivery time. On the other hand, we are still to this date, asking for exchange of products that are damaged, credit for damaged property while they are delivering and credit for the damaged items that are unexchangeable. The service was inexplicably horrible and below average in regards to the amount we paid and we will never be shopping here again. Please find pictures of some of the damaged products.

I have had a very similar experience with many reviewers here and particular, with the reviewer Maher Shoura. I would also like to provide everyone my shopping experience with Mobilia. Please read if you are considering making a purchase from this store.

Mobilia looks so pretty when you walk in. The sales team and service in the store was fine and we have no complaints there. We were in the store looking to purchase a sofa for our main living area; we ended up purchasing a couch that was “in stock” and delivered within a few weeks of being purchased.

The couch was delivered on Dec 6 2019 and we immediately noticed several issues with the couch. We bought a large sectional and the two ‘sections’ didn’t close/connect properly due to the cushions being too large. The end cushions were literally hanging off the couch as well. Also, we noticed that the stitching at the top of the couches was also very uneven, where it looked almost bumpy.

We emailed Mobilia customer support with photos of our issues and they sent a technician out on Jan 14 2020 to review the couch; this was the earliest appointment they had available. The technician agreed with my complaints and said that our couch would be replaced.

We have been dealing with Ms. Vish Balchand, the After Sales Service Representative who responded to our email, and let me tell you, I cannot believe how disappointing the ‘after care’ service has been. Please don’t get me wrong, I get that we are amidst Covid right now and that things have been delayed as a result of same, I totally get that, but how is it Nov 2020 and I still have not received any new couch, new cushions, nothing! We are going on one year with no resolution!

The biggest issue here is that we are not receiving any real responses. The responses we get from Vish are just terrible and she doesn’t ever address the issues at hand. I have asked her several times exactly what is being replaced (i.e. Cushions, the entire couch, etc etc) vis-à-vis the technician’s report and she always gives me the run around and no real answer. I have asked for a copy of the technician’s report and of course, you guessed right that I have not received that the report or even the technician’s comments about our couch.

You want to know the best part? Our couch is now discontinued. On Jul 30 2020, Vish writes, “These pieces that you currently have are of a discontinued line that we no longer carry. I can send another technician to come in and take measurements of the correct size that you need in the cushions. Please let me know and I will make the necessary arrangements”. Please note that I responded to Vish the same day and have yet to receive any ‘arrangements’. In fact, I am still using the same couch that was delivered in Dec 2019.

It’s now Nov 3 2020 and I am still to this date waiting for a response from Mobilia. Given our couch is now discontinued, we should at least be provided with something, an exchange, a credit, something so that we can have and use a couch that we actually enjoy, from both a functionality and image perspective. So, all in all, I completely agree with other reviewers in that the service we have received is inexplicably horrible and extremely below average in regards to the amount we paid and we will never be shopping here again. You don’t always get what you pay for. Please find some pictures of our defective couch.

We have always appreciated the modern styles at Mobilia and it was one of the first places we looked for our recent purchase. We we were able to find exactly what we wanted. In addition, we did run into some problems and Mobilia went out of their way to make us happy. We would highly recommend.

Great high-end quality at great prices!

They have some really nice pieces here that are super reasonable. I have had a bed frame (the Nexus bed frame with storage) from Mobilia for almost 9 years and it is still in great shape.

I came in looking for a couch the other day and the staff were so pleasant to deal with. They didn't hover over my shopping experience, but knew when to let me know of their sales and were very attentive when I was interested in something. I didn't end up purchasing a couch only because the one I wanted was out of stock until later this year, but I will certainly be back in the future!

I had an issue with my old mattress support frame and Vish managed to find a completely set for me at Mobilia's warehouse. I am very happy to resolve my issue by just swapping out the old mattress support. Mobilia should definitely take pride in their after-sales service, it is what sets companies apart from each other.

I have bought furniture from Mobilia at Dixie and Dundas - Some 2 years ago. The furniture is good. Well, I was surprised and happy to find Reshma yet working at Mobilia. She had the same pleasant demeanor as before and the most surprising fact was that she remembered my name. Amazing! After two years she remembered my name! She even remembered what I had bought then! Uau! I have to write this review! As before, Reshma spent a lot of time with me and my friend Viola. Excellent service given again. Thank you very much Reshma. 5 Stars! Wish I could give more:)

Nice furniture with good prices, Negar from sales was excellent,
However their after sales is Terrible, we got our sofa Dec 6th with a defective mechanism in one of the seats, called the store they didn't do anything and told me to wait for a service call, no one called so i called again the following week they said no one is available untill Jan 2020 so we will call you back to schedule the service call day and time, no 1 called again so i sent an email to the Sales Negar and follwing the service dep called me to fix a date, they said Tuesday 14th and no time frame as the service guy would call before he comes! Am I supposed to wait for him all day! Anyway i asked for another day as Tuesday no one is home they told me then Wed the 29th of Jan! WHICH IS MORE THAN 1 1/2 MONTH TO GET THIS FIXED!

I'm still waiting to see what will happen and will update my review then.

UPDATE: Jan 28th, so they called as written in their reply below and left a voicemail, I called them back "Vish" (the service rep) back and left a voicemail as well, No 1 got back to me as well, and No 1 called to schedule the Service Call that they told me about on the 29th (tomorrow)! So I believe no is coming after all, we rest with the default mechanism in the seat, open can't be closed!

Excellent customer service when purchasing but once the transaction is complete you are nothing. Delivery promised for a date. Make the arrangements for the delivery only to find out they are not going to deliver. Wasted one beautiful Saturday and now I'm expected to sit around and waste another. My furniture when and if it ever arrives well remind me and anybody that askes me about where I purchased the furniture not to shop at mobilia. $250.00 for delivery and no service to back it up. Purchasing furniture and having it delivered should be an easy great experience. Now I really wonder about the quality of the furniture I'm getting and if there is ever a problem if they will even care. I should just cancel the complete order.

We have purchased from Mobilia on multiple occasions and have only had one bad customer service experience. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The quality of their products is very good. My only real complaint is that they advertise free in-store pick-up, but the pick-up is actually at their store in Mississauga. Not convenient when I am shopping in Burlington for a reason.

Worst furniture product we have ever purchased. Friendly customer service in store but then assistance when marred, low quality product delivered, all ethics out the door. Promise to replace damaged unit not fulfilled after months of waiting. Driver who delivered sofa told me that even though the manager sees insufficient product going on truck states “ deliver it anyway. Horrible, money grabbing, unethical business.

Great place to check if you are on market for furniture or decor. I'm client of this location for many, many years and never been disappointed with selection and service. About the service: we are dealing with Richard who is working there very long time and he is most helpful person you would need to have your shopping experience really enjoyable!

Horrible delivery experiences in Burlington. This is the second time I've purchased and their delivery people are terrible. Not friendly and not timely. Mobilia provides a 3 hour delivery window and they NEVER meet it. We have to book an elevator in our building and Mobilia delivery didn't meet it either time they came. Causes nothing but headaches. I don't recommend purchasing at Mobilia.

Vish with customer support for the Burlington location was extremely supportive to ensure customer satisfaction was prioritized and honoured. I am very content with my purchases at Mobilia. Guests continue to complement the furniture and sofa's purchased from Mobilia. I will definitely continue future purchases at this location.

Horrible customer service. I bought the furniture that was in stock and I was promised a delivery date after 2 weeks of purchasing. I never got any calls to confirm the delivery time frame.when I called the delivery department.they said my delivery date is not even in the system and blamed the sales girl for even giving me a date. My invoice clearly shows the delivery date. Delivery department girl had horrible customer service skills. Even after speaking to the store manager things were not fixed. Clearly need to work on their communication skills.very poor experience!

We needed a sectional couch for our new addition. We found a really nice one that fit our budget. We worked with Brent and he had some great insight as to what style would suit us best after asking us questions about our lifestyle. He recommended the ottoman over the chaise which was something my wife and I were debating about. The ottoman was such a better choice. I can't say enough about Brent and his level of customer service. We look forward to working with him again for future pieces.
