Modus Ristorante

The bread and soup is amazing, stay away from the specials. Ordered a pasta it had no sauce. They are great but have sneaky options.

The salmon tartare with crème fraiche was delish. Aside from that dish, I didn't overly enjoy anything else. Service was fine. The decor was pretty, but it's not enough positives to draw me back.

Overpriced. Perhaps due to the clientele. The business crowd. The noise level at lunchtime was way too voluminous. But that may be because we were there during the Holiday season. The service was impeccable though.

Bad service.
Ran out of everything on the menu… no beef carpaccio, no salmon tartare, kept selling us the sausage the entire night.
So different from what it was three years ago, when I had hosted many successful events there.
I don’t think I will go back.

Additionally, the Coat Check person was so careless, she made a long ball pen mark on my Prada down-filled coat, which cost me $96 to dry clean! Unbelievable!

We went for a business dinner for 6 of us. Food was great. But the service was really poor the waiter had no clue how to run a dinner service. Didn’t start with drinks, missed forks, didn’t check on us. The place was very empty too so no excuse there. You missed out. I won’t bring my people back.

Nice atmosphere, great service. Good food. Pasta dishes come well sized. I ordered the cod fish and literally just had fish and garnish on my plate. Good thing I was not paying.

Went for lunch for first time, was expecting awesome Italian food. Ordered risotto with scallops and a glass of wine, wine was relish but risotto was salty. Wasn’t as impressed by food in comparison to other fine dining where you want o go again and again. Service was impeccable. No complains regarding service
