I had an appointment for an oil change at 3pm. I arrived 15 minutes late. The advisor did a walk around and quickly explained what they were going to do. He asked if there was anything else, I said yes. I mentioned to him that I had hit a raccoon a while ago and it had broken some of the plastic protection, he asked if it was hanging, I told him it was but I had kind of put it back and he said no problem we can check it. At 4: 19pm I received a text with the video inspection of the underside of my car. No mention of the plastic protection just that everything from your typical 15 point inspection and how much tread was left on my tires. Then about 15 minutes later I was called to the counter to pay. An hour and 20 minutes for an oil change. I am sorry but that is ridiculous and the fact that the other issue I mentioned wasn’t even acknowledged. I like going to your service because if things need to be done you usually address it. This time no such luck

I report a very distinctive noise that I have been hearing for several weeks. After verification, their mechanics conclude that it is a normal noise related to my air intake. Following my doubts, I change dealership to get a second opinion. At this place, they tell me that the noise is caused by a damaged all-wheel drive. They order the parts, do the repair and tell me everthing is covered by the warranty.

Amazing! What an awesome experience (as always with Moffatt's Mazda). I brought my car a day early, because of the storm warning, I wasn't going to drive it anyway because the engine light was on. Manny checked the car in, no worries, and told me about their new service where you receive a video of the inspection. Wow! Click the link and I get a clear video with the mechanic introducing himself and explaining what he sees. Then shortly after I receive another text asking to click a link and there is an estimate. There is a clear button to click to approve the request. Then another text advising they are going ahead. The service team were so cohesive, the communication between them and Manny, who would then communicate with me, was seamless! I have, previous to Moffatt's, been to many mechanics in Barrie. The service I received from Moffatts blew them out of the water. Many many thanks to Manny and the whole service team at Moffatt's Mazda!

I would not buy anything from these guys! They sold us a lemon and then wanted to make money buying it back from us and make more money getting us another vehicle instead of trying to help us out of the bad situation they put us in, it’s cost is thousand of dollars. Terrible customer service.

My husband and I were looking for a new car and called Moffatt’s Mazda this past Friday morning. He spoke with a male sales consultant after we saw that they had two CX-50’s in stock online and we were hoping for a car in time for Christmas.

The man he spoke to said that they did have them but they were not for sale, so we asked what was available for pick up right away. The salesperson said to “stop wasting his time, we should have known how the market is, ” to “not bother calling other Mazda dealerships for a CX-50 either and order one instead because nobody has the car” and to “stop wasting my time we don't get paid to answer questions over the phone. ”

We were incredibly shocked and felt like they obviously did not want our business at all. I can’t believe a dealership would tolerate their employees speaking this way to customers. My husband didn’t catch the salesman’s name, unfortunately.

We have now happily taken our car purchase to another Mazda store that respects their clients. Perhaps others should think twice before directing their purchase inquiries at this dealership.

What a great first experience I had with Moffatt's Mazda. Very pleased to be Ryan Twigg's first CX-50 delivery. The car is beautiful, and am thoroughly enjoying my first few days with it.
Ryan was an absolute joy to work with; he's an affable, and knowledgeable saleman who genuinely loves the products he sells. Moffatt's is fortunate to have him on staff. Jeff in financing, too, was a pleasure to work with, both he and Ryan provided me with excellent communication once delivery became closer.
By the way I was treated, you'd think this was my fifth purchase instead of my first.

The good: Katie the service advisor is friendly, and straight forward as well as efficient in getting vehicles diagnosed and repaired.
The Bad: The service guys completed the repair however did not use a liner on my new Weathertech mats and marked them up with grease and the seats and matts were covered in rust particles from the repair. My other cars are German and they include a full detail before they return the vehicle. While a full detail is unnecessary I would at least expect the vehicle to come back as clean as when I dropped it off instead I have to go home and scrub at grease stains and vacuum the car. A disappointing visit this time.

Where do I start? Moffatt's Mazda has been great to me in the past when I bought my 2015 Mazda 3 sport and Matt Weeks was a fantastic salesman. But they went above and beyond when we bought our new family hauler, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. My family and I drove to Florida a couple weeks after purchasing the van when a check engine light came on and the air conditioning started to act up. Being in Florida without functioning ac during the summer, with your wife, two small children and your mother in law is a recipe for disaster. Believe me. I called Matt and they wanted to help out. I spent a day at a Chrysler dealership in Kissimmee and my jaw hit the floor when they hit me with a quote for over a $1000.00 US that I hadn't budgeted for since Disney is a thirsty boy for Canadian cash. I was
panicked and sent Matt the invoice. He called me back promptly and let me know that all the Moffatts were at the dealership that day and came to a consensus that they would pay the entire bill! So, you can understand my elation when matt called and saved my family vacation. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing any vehicle from anyone else. I just bought my first brand new vehicle with Moffatt's Mazda and I’m extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the service that was provided through Matt Weeks (sales consultant) who works at the Barrie Moffatt's Mazda. He was able to be patient with me through the process of choosing a vehicle for the many months I had to spend paying off my last vehicle that I had previously (a Kia Rondo) which was a nightmare to say the least but I’m glad to have had a salesman who didn’t pressure me or push me to buy a vehicle right away, he took the time with me to find something I liked and enjoyed. I’m so excited to have this as my first new vehicle! The environment of the dealership was very friendly and welcoming. Matt was able to even take my vehicle to Georgian detailing for me so I could get my paint protection done on the vehicle because I was too nervous to take it home before the ppf was put on lol. But overall, great dealership, great service & I want to thank Matt for being a very helpful and knowledgeable salesman. I now have the most beautiful and stylish car that I will be driving for many years to come and I’m so very happy to say that!

I am rather disappointed at the service I received yesterday at Moffatt's Mazda. Excited to finally be able to get another Mazda, I spent my afternoon test driving a few cars and fell in love with the car that I wanted to purchase. When I started the process to purchase the car, they couldn't find the car's package. I find out that after spending hours in the dealership that the car that I test drove and was going to buy had actually been sold two days ago.

The only thing that I was offered to fix the situations, was a car that was more money and had been in an accident. That was it. I left the dealership feeling that I had wasted by whole afternoon and ended up leaving with nothing when I thought I had finally found the car that I was hoping for.

This was not the experience I had expected after all the positive reviews and what I have heard of the Moffats.

I went with my girlfriend to Moffat's Mazda a few months ago to get her first big purchase in a car, and our experience there was nothing short of amazing. Moffat's Mazda helped us feel comfortable with the entire process and we ended up with the car that my girlfriend was looking at (with the Apple CarPlay that she really wanted).

Shoutout to Matt Weeks - he’s an awesome guy to deal with and we couldn’t be more happy with the service that we were provided with. I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a new/used car!

I recently made a purchase of a 2012 Mazda 3 at Moffat’s Mazda. The sales and finance process was very friendly no high pressure tactics. What impressed me the most was that they stand by their 30 day warranty on used vehicles there was a minor problem with the car but they took it in a fixed it right away I even got a loaner car to get myself off to work excellent and they even dropped my car off at my work site when it was done. Trustworthy is how I would describe this dealership. A shout out to Cam, Adam, Catherine and Mike the tech who fixed up the car top notch!

We left for a road trip but checking over things the night before I realized I lost the security locking nut for my tires! Called in to Barrie Mazda last minute to get it changed out just in case something happened on the road. Kevin and the crew took us in immediately, were super friendly, and changed out the security lock in less than 5 minutes for no charge. So friendly and a great conversation about our trailer. When I buy my next Mazda I'm shopping in Barrie.

Purchased a new to us cx-9 from Shannon. First vehicle I've ever bought from a dealer and it couldn't have went better. The lack of customer service in this dealership was disappointing, yelling out inappropriate names in the show room to other coworkers while customers where present. Extremely disappointed. Waited 1 hour to get help, kept getting redirected and management was rude.

If your in the market for a new vehicle you have to check out Moffatt's Mazda and ask for Matt Weeks! My husband and I we're looking to trade in our F-150 for an SUV. We had never owned an SUV before so we went to 6 different dealerships to find the perfect SUV for us. After going to several dealerships my husband and I both agreed that Moffatt's Mazda stood out the most. They had wonderful customer service all around, not pushy at all, and truly helped us figure out what the perfect vehicle for us was. A huge shoutout to Matt Weeks, he was a great throughout the entire process of purchasing our new car, and took the time to go over any questions or concerns we had. I wanted to take the time to thank Shannon Pringle for all of her help during my car shopping experience at Mazda. I was pretty particular with what I wanted and she looked around for me for the better part of a year to find my perfect Jeep! Her patience and passion are two of the things that make her the most enjoyable sales (wo) man. But she also had my best interests at top of mind and didn't pressure me into anything (even after 8 months of research, apts, and quotes lol) I will forever trust Shannon with all of my car needs! My daughter and I recently went to Moffatt’s Mazda to look for my daughter’s first car. We were approached by Amber Marlow. Amber was very welcoming, friendly and professional. We immediately felt comfortable. We test drove some cars and Amber was both transparent and knowledgeable about the vehicles. It was a wonderful experience with Amber and everyone else at Moffatt’s. From the second I walked into Mazda, I was impressed by Matt's professionalism! Having previously been to 3 dealerships to test drive some cars, the service I experienced at Mazda was instantly worlds better than the previous places! Matt already had the car I wanted to drive ready and running so it wasn't cold! He was very knowledgeable about the features of the car, and even found me something similar but at a cheaper price point! He was never pushy at any point, as some sales reps are! He made sure all my questions were answered and explained the whole process to me thoroughly! I think what made the experience even better was when I came to pick up my car, how he treated my 3 year old son. He gave him a car toy to play with to entertain him so that mommy could have a free second to sign everything! Thanks so much for the great experience! I love my new car and having great service was the icing on the cake!

GREAT staff. This is huge when going to a dealership. I dislike walking in and feeling attacked by try-hard salesmen and this Mazda dealership is the complete opposite. Jeff took my call the first time around and was very helpful and not pushy what so ever. Matt was who I met with to help me through the process as well as test driving the CX-5 and he was the best salesmen I have ever had at a dealership. If you go in, ask for Jeff or Matt. They are both very genuine and you can clearly tell they love their job and actually care about the people they help. Thanks guys!

Bought a used 2010 CX-9 from Mark Moffatt, he is a decent honest salesman to deal with, no pressure tactics, and everything is explained up front, there were no surprises at all.

A Couple years later we went back in to buy my daughter a used Mazda6. Once again Mark Moffatt made the whole experience very positive one again. It was my daughters first car and he found her a very reliable car for the school commute to the city.
More recently I had to contact Mark Moffatt for some spec.information regarding the Mazda6, he got back to me super quick even though I could tell he was busy and told him not to rush.
If anyone tells me they are looking for acar used or new I tell them to go see Mark at Moffatts. Keep up the good work guys people do appreciate you going the extra mile and not feeling like they are getting taken advantage of.

I have been dealing with Moffatt's Mazda in Barrie for 2.5 years and I wanted to say 'THANK YOU' to Jason & Kevin in the Service department. The Service department is full of hard workers who are honest, diligent and friendly whenever any of our vehicles go in for servicing whether it be my Mazda, Maria's Suzuki and sons Mazda. We get a call everything explaining what needs done and a complete breakdown of the costs upfront. Recently, my 2010 Mazda (battery and power sensor failed), it was towed there late that Sunday night. Monday morning, I get a call from Kevin, he was already on it and has the solution. Again - thank you to the entire Moffatt's Mazda Service Team. I look forward to bringing all our current and future vehicles to you.

We are researching new vehicles and went to test drive a CX-9. We were lucky enough to be approached by Amber Marlow to see if we needed any help. I am so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism that I was blown away. Even though we were clear from the get go that we are in the beginning stage of our car buying experience Amber treated us like we had already signed the dotted line! She was a wealth of information on all aspects of buying and gladly shared that knowledge. Whatever we decide to do for our next car buying experience I felt I HAD to do this review no matter what. Class act all around and we were very very impressed.

I've been bringing my vehicles here to be serviced for almost 10 years and I have to say the last couple years I've been very disappointed with the service. Had my airbag replaced a couple years ago and my Bluetooth hasn't worked since, but I feel it's been too long to go back and ask them to fix whatever it is they did to it, plus I don't want to have to spend hundreds to get it working again. Lately I've been having issues with my sliding door which I brought it in for two weeks ago and all they did was lube it up and send me on my way. Fast forward to this week, the door still has issues and the handle broke off. I called and made an appointment, the service advisor didn't ask what the issue was just said "cool, see you tomorrow at 3. " And hung up. I bring the vehicle in and they think I'm there for an oil change. I got the handle fixed, but they haven't even addressed the actual issue that caused the hand to come off! The door still doesn't open well! You can clearly feel the difference between the passenger sliding door and the driver sliding door. All they keep telling me is that it's weather related. I have these same issues in the warm months, so I'm a little doubtful that it's the cold. Anyway, I don't think I will be returning and it sucks, but I don't feel like they've listened or even addressed the concerns I've raised. So when my door handle breaks off again, I will be taking my $200 somewhere else that will ask me what the problem is and actually look at it rather than just bandaging the issue.

Matt Weeks and Moffatt's provided very friendly and professional service during this senior citizen's recent purchase of a used 2014 Outback with over 200k km on it. Matt was very prompt in addressing all my requests, in a complicated purchase, via email. That saved me a lot of travelling. I live two hours away. Excellent job, honest and professional. Mazda 3 had a bad smell and engine light on, several others couldnt figure out. Barrie Mazda dealership took care of. If you have a Mazda and in need of auto service, take it to these guys! Thanks again for helping out.

Every time I visit Moffatt's Mazda, I feel like I really matter. Their customer service is exceptional and every staff member that I have crossed is pleasant and helpful.

Very happy with the first Mazda 3 we purchased here, so we went back and purchased a mazda Cx5 from Mac. The service center is also excellent. Just a nice friendly feeling to this dealership.

Just bought a used vehicle here and had an amazing experience! Cam Hawko was wonderful as was Bob Clark. Everyone from the receptionists to the Financial services managers was very kind and friendly. They made the purchase relaxing and seamless, which is the very opposite of what a used car buying transaction usually is! Looking forward to dealing with Moffatts for a long time to come.

My wife and I bought a used Mazda3 in July of this year. We were very happy with the car and dealership until we brought it in for its first oil change and installation of winter tires. While waiting for service to complete I was informed that my car was in an accident while technician was testing car and was sent home in a rental. The car was a total loss. We went back to dealer with insurance cheque in hand to look for another used Mazda3. We were offered less than we had before and were told that the dealer does not make much profit on used cars to offer a discount on slightly more expensive vehicles. Needless to say we are now Nissan owners.
