The depth of flavour in the broth was the best I’ve ever had. Service, excellent and with huge smiles! A must visit delicious oasis in a noisy city. 5 out of 5!

The food was fantastic! The service was kind and attentive. Loved the music and the vibez. Why the overall 4stars? There was no soap in the washroom. They brought me the man's soap but it was just water! I told them.afaun they said they'll fix the issue. By the time I left still no soap. Womp womp! I'll go back but please make sure there's soap! It's very important.

Arrived at noon on Monday and was the 4th table seated. We ordered immediately. 25 minutes later, no food yet and noticed 2 tables that arrived after us got their food (appetizers and noodles) already. I inquired with the server and was told that it was coming. Another 15 min waiting again and by this time, 6 tables that arrived after us got their food already. I inquired again, only to hear same message that it was coming. I was ready to leave at this point. It took more than 45 min for 2 orders of beef noodle. Even got my order wrong.

Unacceptable service and extremely disappointed. Definitely not worth the wait and this restaurant just left a very poor taste in my mouth.

Ordered via UberEats on a cold day and their braised beef with the pickled cabbage really hit the spot. Would recommend and would pay a visit to the restaurant one day! Yum!

Ordered from uber eats. These guys are scammers. Don't bother ordering anything extra or from them at all, they would just give you the regular size but charge you for the extra. Every order I've made from them has always been disappointing. If you don't want to provide proper sizes maybe stop selling meals.

One of the best noodles shop in Toronto. It's not just only affordable and clean, but the service is quick too! The servers, especially the guy with long hair and the girl with glasses, were really friendly. I totally recommend this place it’s a gem.

Second time going to Mogouyan, first time to this location. The guy didnt ask about wat noodles we wanted and gave us the default boring one.

Tomato and egg dry noodles with chicken: it was pretty uneventful and flavorless. The chicken was pretty meh as well. A few pieces of onion and tomatoes tasted a little off.

Beef noodles: it's both salty and the broth was otherwise flavorless.

Very unlikely to be going back anytime soon.

The large sized noodles are really of good portion. But the broth isnt rich enough and the texture of noodles is a bit too soft

The dry sesame noodles here are the BEST. They’re not just basic sesame flavour, but have a slight mala taste + just super flavourful.

Excellent. Nothing to add other than I wish you were close to my place in Calgary. No worries. I’ll be back.

Loved the beef noodles and they really don't skimp on the portion sizes! Just wish the spicy had more of a kick as it was quite lacking.

Loved the fresh noodles, definitely the highlight of my dish.
I had the flat thin noodles and the classic beef soup dish.

So delicious! The broth was so flavourful, the noodles were nice and chewy and beef was melt in your mouth goodness. The sauce for the cutlet was perfection and the squid was perfectly cooked. To top it off, I’m not sure if he was just a server or the owner but he was so kind and nice and he always made sure our water was topped off and that everything was to our liking. 10/10 recommend this place!

That is to say - the portions are huge here. A regular is 1.5-2 meals worth and a large is in the realm of 2.5! The food is great as well, delicious hand-pulled noodles in a flavourful broth, and they’re really generous with the meat as well. I can’t recommend the sides too much - they’re kinda expensive and average-tasting for the size - but why not get some with the savings from buying 1 bowl of noodles for 2 people? Overall love this place - went twice already and would go again anytime I’m in the mood for some noodles!

Absolutely delicious! Every appetizer, noodle bowl and skewer offers incredible flavours and I really appreciate that you can control the spice level of your bowl. I have enjoyed ALL the vegetarian options on the menu, specifically the veggie dumplings, spring rolls and edamame (same with my kids!). So so yummy! The stir-fried veggie noodles are always cooked perfectly. And I always end off my meal with their fish and bunny buns (I could eat these for days)! The staff is always pleasant and the service is wonderful. The team seems very proud to work here and I appreciate that. Definitely 11/10 recommend Mogouyan!

Stopped by spontaneously after visiting the Christmas market. The best part is definitely the diverse appetizer options; I'd go just to get a handful of these to share.

Prices are super fair for Toronto and don't worry about trying to get a table in advance - we had lots of space.

My only small complaint was the eggs were overdone, which is very sad when ordering noodles.

Very nice staff, super attentive, and when there is little broth, they make sure to ask if you need more. Food quality is very good, and def recommend on a cold night!

Not sure if me and my friends ordered the wrong type of noodles but all of our bowls came out with too little soup to submerge the noodles? !
Also soup from the classic beef noodle wasn’t the most flavorful. Definitely to advise the server to add some chili oil (spicy level) otherwise your soup will feel a bit tasteless, like some salt is missing.

On a better note, noodles was made freshly when ordered. Good texture. We also ordered a non caffeinated mango refresher - came out in a huge glass. Very good given it’s ~6$ price point.

Our servers were wonderful and very attentive- hence I gave this place a 3.
If the soup was poured more generously and more flavorful, that would be great.

Amazing food! We were a group of seven but were looked after promptly and well. Got the classic beef soup, no spice - it was soooo good! Love the different options for noodle (and noodle thickness!)

The place is bigger than the location by Bloor street. One thing I would recommend for their menu would be tofu or some kind of vegetarian protein for the stir-fry, which was something my vegetarian friend wanted.

The service here was quick and efficient. Portion wise the food was a little on the small side but flavourful with an abundance of garlic in the scallop dish and large beef brisket chunks in the braised beef noodle soup. For the price point that it's at I would expect a little more.

Came here with my boyfriend around 4pm and had a great experience. Service was prompt and very attentive without being overbearing. The ambience was very calming and perfect for a busy Sunday afternoon in the city. Noodles came quickly in huge portions, and the server was nice enough to pack the leftovers into separate noodle and soup containers herself when I’d only asked for takeout containers. Noodles themselves were great and not too oily. All topped off with complimentary white rabbit candies which came with the bill.

Delicious noodles and bbq. Exceptional service. My spoon fell in the soup and I was out of napkins. I received extras spoon and napkins from the observant server without requesting.

Chinese northwest style soup noodles. Ok if you want to give it a try. Good choice to dine alone for a quick dish. They also serve some bbq skewers

Two words: MSG overload! My friend and I came here to eat and both our noodles were insanely salty. Even when we didn’t drink the soup, the noodles absorbed all the MSG which made it inedible- we felt so thirsty after every bite. I got flat noodles and unfortunately they were also over cooked and clumped together on the bottom. Extremely disappointed considering how it has such high reviews. Had to go to another place for dinner afterwards as we could barely finish our food.

Was greeted by the waitress and seated at the nice booth table. Restaurant was very clean and spacious.

Ordered braised beef noodle with spicy level 3. It was served with a big bowl of broth with good amount of noodles. Could have been more nutritious meal if they added more veggies in the soup though. All I found was a couple of pieces of radish, cilatro & onion. Brased beef was very tender and broth was tasty. They served spicy oil with the noodle soup. But it was not super super hot spicy.

Signature stir fried noodles with chicken seemed to be big enough to feed two people. Noodles were so fresh and bouncy.

It was very disappointing to find out later that I could have chosen the shape & thickness of noodles. I was never asked.

Also there is no choice of veggies add on. If you really want to add some veggie to your meal, I guess you can order kelp or cucumber salad.

Ordered the main Mogouyan beef noodles - beef was absolutely soft and delicious, but not a fan of the mild broth (ended up having to put a lot of extra spice and lemon in it, so will definitely order spicier next time) and the noodles were stuck to each other, making them hard to chew. The stir fry was pretty good in comparison.

Service: server seating me and took my order was nice, but I never saw her again. Tips are probably shared and no designated server, so it could be confusing or weird. Male server was overly peppy to large groups and created a very strange atmosphere because as a single diner, my table was completely ignored the entire time, while the restaurant was not busy and he checked on other tables multiple times. He slipped me extra napkins that I didn't need or ask for and said nothing. Where is his cheerful attitude now? Probably just saving it for people he thinks would tip him more. I even lingered a bit to see if someone would check on my table. Nothing.

My tip for the serving staff: as a former server, I've been kind to single diners as well, trying to make their experience dining alone pleasant, and sometimes they tipped more than a full table would. So, it's not worth it to ignore single diners and make it so obvious that your services are driven by who you think will better fill your wallet. Genuinely enjoy your job and don't be selective about who you serve well. All customers should be treated equally.

Food: It was just okay. The food was more Americanized that I was expecting. Not very flavourful compared to other Chinese noodle places. I asked for medium spice but it was not spicy at all. I wanted to ask if my order was wrong, but no one checked on my table. For $18 after tax, there was not enough meat. The value should be more like $13-15 for what you get.

Overall: Definitely will not be returning and will tell my friends living nearby to avoid as well.

Husband and I enjoyed our experience thoroughly. The Dan Dan noodles were the best I've eaten. My husband liked his braised beef noodle but wasn't a fan. He was eating my dish more than his. The quantities are very generous. We have it for lunch tomorrow as well. Flavors totally hit the spot. Service is excellent. Our waitress gave excellent suggestions and brought our food promptly. She also brought us extra hot sauce.

We will certainly come back because we want to try different shaped noodles!

The best hand-pulled noodles I've had!

I had their beef braised noodles. The beef is so tender that it falls off!

Their skewers (lamb, beef, squid) are super delicious and are a must-try!

Their peach julep is also refreshing!

Their customer service is exceptional!

Definitely 10/10 recommend and for sure will be coming back with friends!

Food is really speedy and great, open till 2am. The downside is that despite tasting super good it's way way way too salty. Maybe for some beer and lamb skewers but idk how it can taste so insanely salty and still taste great.

Great service and good noodle portion size. The sides were decent, the lamb skewers were a little tiny though…

We came here by accident because it was raining when we were touring the neighborhood and boy they really served us real authentic food.everyone inside were welcoming, helpful and accommodating with our inexperience of what to get here.everything was explained thoroughly and we were given some good suggestions.all entrees tasted exactly how it was described and they are not over priced.pretty neat shop and i wish they had this too in calgary.

The reviews are right with service and portion. Very attentive and very large portions. That bowl of brasied beef noodles is more than enough for one person.

Beef chunks were big but not tender enough, a bit dry. Grilled items were on point.

My receipt said I'll get a pepper chicken for free with next purchase of noodles. Enticing indeed.

This place deserves its 5 stars. Thank you Andy. My husband and I left the cinema and had dinner at Mogouyan. The meal was fully seasoned and our meats tender. We bagan eating and almost forgot to take a picture. My husband got shivers eating his meal, that's how good it was and he is a critic like myself. Our noodles were hand made or hand pulled fresh right in store which Andy showed us the process. We had the classic noodles. I even got a chinese paper crane when leaving. THIS IS TRULY A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WILL DO IT AGAIN! Khary and Denise

Good food for a good price. Dont expect to finish everything in one sitting! The staff are courteous and helpful, and the place is a nice in between of casual and classy. Would reccomend!

Really good value with the lunch special, which includes a bowl of noodles and a side dish (for only $10!) The noodles taste great with the authentic lanzhou flavour. Would recommend!

I have never had such a great bowl of noodles like this.
Hand pulled noodle is new to me and and this place literally got me hooked. My husband and I had such a great time. Not only because the noodle is unique, cjewy and homemade, the soup and flavour is amazing!

If you never had hand pulled noodles, you definitely have to try.

Absolutely loved this place! Has vegetarian options which my friend was very thankful for! Food is delicious, service was amazing, the server gave alot of suggestions and was very friendly to us. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants to eat delicious noodles:) Price was pretty affordable as well especially for the large portions.
