Monarch Restaurant and Lounge

Got an order for take-out rice and stew with goat meat. What I got is very disappointing. Received two piece of goat BONES like literally BONES (wanted Beef but they didn’t have any), the plantain was dry and stale. For a $30+ Meal, I am expecting Delicious food. Even if the portions are two pieces of meat, you would put something in the bowl that any person would enjoy. I am actually so disappointed because I was really looking forward to eating my meal. Very disappointed

The restaurant has increased the prices of a few things since i first started ordering their food, which i have no problem with. But this coupled with the lesser portion of protein just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe Its the restaurant being greedy trying to save more money or maybe I am the one whos greedy. I was going to just leave it not ordering from here anymore but my last order had me feeling disrespected.

Okay first I must commend the customer service, it was excellent. The food was tasty, environment was neat and good music too. Location is also private if you you love some privacy. Will definitely recommend it.

One thing to note is the setting, gold chair, golden utensils too, I guess that’s why it’s called Monarch

Also if you to bringing friends to try your type of food for the first time, this will create a good impression.

Best food in town, everything on the menu is sumptuous. Great customer’s service. Definitely my go to spot come rain come sunshine!

So, I tried the designer stew and it was phenomenal, it immediately took me back home and I’m totally sold.

It might take me a really long time to try something else on the menu because I’ll always order the designer stew off the menu.

Omg monarch has the best noodles I’m not even capping! To think I’m a very picky eater and I get mad if my food doesn’t taste right but this guys really knows what they’re doing…. I give them a 10/10

I really enjoy their food especially the egusi and pounded yam in my opinion they have the best egusi in the G. T. A hands down. I'll definitely recommend anyone to try their food. Very good customer service. Go and try their food and thank me later.

Had a great dinner at Monarch? Overall, I enjoyed my experience. Had their snail, suya and designer stew with white riceeverything was yummy, the staff were caring, I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Do try their snail pls
