Money Mart

Was great when I went in on Friday December 8th Jelena explained MOST things to me and how it works said I had 30 days if I wanted to get the full amount of my installment. Went back on Sunday as I miss calculated how much I would need and was told no I couldn’t due to the “banks” being closed and that I could call back during the week. Called back today December 14th and was told I do not have the option to top up even though I didn’t take my full amount, because I haven’t made a payment and they’re system said I wasn’t able to… and no one could explain why and they told me to call back in a few days… not very helpful once they have you as a customer it seems.

Update: Jan 10th
Unfortunately this experience has been an outright headache. Not sure if people are forgetting training or just don’t care. But I encourage, people to take a policy refresher. This will be the last time I use Money Mart for anything.

Razen was the one who was dealing with me, she was really polite and patient. Great experience!

Ranzen was fantastic, i applied for a instalment loan and i was out of there in 10 minutes. She is very kind, quick and reliable. Definitely recommend seeing Ranzen your next visit

I had good experience at the Upper James Money Mart location. The manager Eva was very nice and helpful. I can definitely recommend this location for their financial services.

Jelena helped with my money transfer to my home country. She was very calm and soft spoken and kept the smile all the time while she was helping out.

Great customer service, employee Ashley was very informative and kind through the whole process.

Two of the employees at this location tonight spoke to me very passive aggressively. They had to call their manager to see if I can cash a valid cheque at this location. One employee even stated to me that I should cash my cheques sooner. I've been cashing cheques at Money Mart for 20+ years. I'll be emailing a more detailed complaint to head office.

Get looked at for using a pay day loan! Asked very personal questions why you need to use the service I would recommend not to use this money Mart go to another location

Been using Money Mart for over 15 plus years but the level of customer service i received was very unprofessional at this location.
Ended up going to the next plaza Cash 4 You.

My partner went in to pay some money on our loan and requested a print out of the payments left. We usually get a print out of our breakdown at the lakeshore location (they are very nice and usually accommodating). The last at this hamilton location however, rudely said to her that they don’t give print outs. I was appalled that I would be refused to see how much was left on my own loan. We refused to leave and requested a print out, she reluctantly gave my partner one and said it called mortzation schedule. Whatever the hell that is. Just plain horrible customer service. Not welcoming at all. Just a simple request that could have been easily honored.

Best one I've been to, I felt like I was being taken care of in the best way that works for me. The manager is amazing, she listened to my needs and gave me the best course of action to take. I will definitely return to this location.

This location has the best service the ladies who work there are always stunning and very respectful i would advise all money mart clients to use this location for they always put a smile on ur face with there acurate and precise cashing of all cheques loans etc:). And most off all the manager is amazing and always makes sure u are taken care of

The staff are very friendly and they are very helpful. I left the store with a better attitude because of one of the tellers. I highly recommend going to this Money Mart and I will definitely be going back to make some loans!
