I contacted this law firm last Friday & spoke with Raj. He was helpful with initial info & told me to send him an email if I was interested in going forward. On the 8th I sent an email to state my interest in proceeding but never got a reply. I then called yesterday morning to speak with Raj & to confirm he had received my email. Even if you need advice about employment contracts before you sign, have Ms. Faderin review it. Service was great. These guys are pros and know what they're doing.

Just keep in mind some complexities like:
1) You have to actively look for a job
2) You have to take the job if you get it (or judge could argue that you should have taken it anyway)
3) You need money during this period (EI? Savings?)
4) There is a minimum legal fee charged if the above occurs
5) The process can take months if settled, a year if not.
6) You may burn bridges with your former employer if you do this
7) Try to negotiate the best offer on your own first

I had a meeting scheduled with an intake officer, they seemed great with the text messages and email follow up. They seemingly want cases that are basic open and shut employment matters, hopefully mundane as that makes them the most money. More complicated ones they don't seem to want to get into. I rate them one below five stars because of this, and the woman spoke in a way I couldn't completely understand. They must be using some kind of inexpensive IP telephone with poor audio quality. I was completely frustrated at the end of the call because of this, so I deducted another star for that. I'm basing my review solely on first experience while shopping around, not as a client that has ever done any business with them.

They replied right away, were extremely professional and made absolutely sure I had no questions. They made sure I fully understood my options in a very compassionate way. I would reccomended.
