Montfort Mediterranean Grill - Brant St.

This location used to be quite good but it seems the ownership has changed and the last two times the services and food have not been good. A while back my order was not correct, not a big deal and easily corrected. Last night the chicken souvlaki was not cooked through. First bite was pink and rubbery in the center. Asked for it to be thoroughly cooked, this was done but no apology or discount. I didn't ask for any discount and wanted to see what they would do voluntarily. I got a free salad while waiting for the food to cook the second time. I will return some time in the near future and try again to see if anything changes. Hopeful but cautious.

After reply from owner apparently ownership has not changed, just all the staff I saw on-site were new… just assumed.

We ordered both chicken shawarma and shish tawook and both were so good and big portions although we ordered regular sizes

We were a group of 10 people for dinner including children, and the service was not only fast and courteous, but also very delicious. We'll definitely come back!

The place was really nice and the food was good. But the best part was the server Andres, he's definitely the best server I've ever had in my life. Great attention and attitude you guys should have more people like him

I used to purchase food from this location many years ago and bragged about the Montfort Chicken sandwich to everyone. I recommended to my employer to purchase a small staff lunch for pick up.
It was simple 5 chicken Shawarma’s, 1 chicken Shawarma broken down due to dietary restrictions and 1 Montfort Chicken pita (for me)
When we go to open our order at work nothing was labeled. We had to open every sandwich ti try to find the Montfort chicken. We couldn’t identify it.
Every sandwich looked the same. No pineapple, all dry and really without the wonderful flavour I once enjoyed.
The experience was underwhelming. The 5 other staff said they’ve all had better.
Look at the photo. Do you see any pineapple and how delicious does this $14.50 sandwich look to you?

Very disappointed in our meal tonight. Use to be the best in Burlington. Our order was wrong and mine came out undercooked and cold. They went and took the chicken off skewers and warmed it up instead of giving me fresh. Won’t be back after long time customer

Consistently good food, quality ingredients freshly prepared.
We love the lentil soup too.

We were a party of 8 who arrived on short notice. Our host made us feel as though he had been expecting us all day, and then treated us to the most amazing flavours. Everyone ordered something different and all raved about their meal. If you are in the area, do yourself a favour and eat here. You won't be disappointed.

I've ordered the shawrma plate and was terrible, and on top of that I had to pay $32 for the plate no drinks or extras at all, just for the plate. Honestly, I would not recommend it for anyone

The best Mediterranean food around. Tasty and filling and big portions of juicy meat my favorite is the Montfort special with chicken and pineapple. Delicious and always love coming to Montfort. The owner is a great guy

Amazing food, Delicious vegetarian options, fantastic service, great value for money and a lovely atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everything from the onion sauce and garlic sauce to the eggplant is bursting with flavor. Love the hours too, spent a lot of late night here with friends. Food is so fresh and finger licking good. The staff is friendly, makes amazing recommendations and is always happy to hook you up with more onion sauce. Fantastic location for date nights too! This location is the best of all of the different ones.

We ordered kibibi, shwarma and one beef steak …. The food was good quality wise and sitting arrangement was also good…. Kibibi was oily but was not bland at all … you can feel the spices in it …. The restaurant is on expensive side and quantity is less compared to price …

I went there for lunch. Can’t recommend this place enough, great food and the staff is so courteous. They have a wide vegetarian menu. Will be returning here.

Love me some Monforts. My go to is the Monfort Chicken Pita, and the sauces you get with it, can't be beaten. Add sweet potato fries and it's a win win.

Classic place to eat. One of Burlington finest, memorable restaurants. Late night weekends.people came to this place aswell for great food.
The only changes I've seen are staff can be nice or a bit on the attitude at times.
Prices continue to skyrocket.
Lastly, was not impressed with the man cooking who claims he's the owner, yelling at a customer for a pickup order, telling him to get out, yelling in front of everyone eating and a bunch of people there for pickups. It was quite the ridiculous scene. He needs to be more professional and cool it!
There are ways to handle situations properly and if you think because your the owner, you can act like that.think again because there are plenty of other restaurants people can take their business to.

I love Monfort and have for many years usually now pickingup at Appleby location. Wondering how or why after so many years of great famous white sauce it appears you have changed the ingrediants and added another spice to it.you can taste and see the green flecks.
Some of my buddies have also commented on the change and not favourably.
