I love the Montgomery Inn. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. The upstairs is closed for renovations, but even the short visit was very enjoyable. They have a video about the history of the inn and the people left out of history. It was so good I got a little emotional lol. They have a few events coming up and we will for sure join some of them. You gotta pay for the events, but they are affordable. Best of all: the visits are free! Go support this Toronto Historical Museum.

A wonderful place to visit. It's a hidden gem of the area. Free admission n guide at the reception. Friendly staff n parking available. The museum is not very big. However, museum gives visitors the opportunity to see how a 19th-century Canadian inn was run from ballroom to bedrooms, with a kitchen and bar. It's interesting to some old furniture's n setting. Opening hour is Wed to Sunday 11am -4pm

Quaint place that takes you back in time. Has what looks like a newly renovated well air conditioned bathroom down stairs and a farmers market Wednesday afternoon that sells fresh vegetables, organic salsa, home made tortilla chips, and house made bread.

A very beautiful place. Historical finds, old traditions, friendly staff. I have been to this museum several times. And I was very pleased with the farmers market. Thank you.

I am currently enrolled in a workshop that takes place at the Inn. The place is bursting with history and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would suggest reading up on the rich history of the Inn and the vital role it played in housing and employing alot of immigrants back in the day. Watch out for the authentic piano and clock that date back to the 1830's and take a stroll around the grounds, there's ways ducks swimming in the river.

This is a beautiful place in the middle of the city to be able to visit to see how life was like in an in 200 years ago. They have free parking on site and it's nice to bring your kids here so they can explore how life was like. Thank you for maintaining this historic building.

We loved our tour at this museum. The lady who guided us was amazing at her job. She really made us comfortable and taught us all about such an amazing heritage spot. The history of Islington Village "Mimco" and this wonderful Inn. Even the floors told us a story. Indented from all the visitors since it was built in the 1830s. When a Irish man ran a farm and his wife ran the Inn. Mother's Day visit was so nice.

It was a very informative, interesting tour. You get a really in-depth look at Toronto's history. The people working there are very passionate, the tour guide was great!

I have had the great pleasure of working with Steve not only of the sale of two homes but the purchase of two as well. Working once in the business myself I have very high expectations of an agent. Steve becomes very involved in his clients needs and always went above and beyond to give you the most favourable experience. We are talking million dollar properties that he was able to successfully bring to the close. When picking an agent I highly recommend you seek out this very qualified and successful one. My best to him going forward and if going to the market again he will be my first and only call.

Very old place. The Christmas sale was in the basement and just a bunch of amateur crafts people selling less than adequate crafts.

Wednesday afternoon 2-6 farmer's market. Bought pieces of cooked sea bass, chicken and sausage plus fresh bread, Christmas Cake, etc all home made. We look forward to our awesome Wednesday night dinners.

Lovely preserved inn - our tour guide didn't seem to know much about the house, but the tea room was delightful.

Very cool historic site - lots of awesome stories about the early Toronto lifestyle. Staff is very knowledgeable, and their events are awesome! Definitely check them out on the last Thursday of the month (live music, roaring fire, historic food and drink, and an atmosphere that will make your heart glow!)

Quaint place with surprisingly knowledgeable staff. There could be more events which could create the ambience of the yesteryears more effectively.

A really beautiful venue. It's so historic from the outside but the inside has a mix of modern and historical charm. The staff are really friendly and there's ample parking in the parking lot. Overall a very nice place to host an event

Cozy, historic setting for a wedding with a piano and nice outdoor spaces for photos. I have Officiated two weddings here and both times the staff were so genuine and sweet. It's a happy setting for a joyful event.

Went to the Wednesday Farmer's Market. Good selection, lots of seasonal veggies. Pavement is a bit uneven so might be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues. Bring cash if you go because some vendors don't take plastic.

Went on St Patrick's Day. Had their homemade irish stew and bread which was good. Had a band there playing irish music which was fun. Staff were in costume and were friendly as well. They have a limit of how many people are allowed in the inn.

A wonderful experience. History buff or not this 187 year old inn, in the heart of Etobicoke is a great place to spend time. Go for the tea and baked goods then take the guided tour and learn about the Montgomery family and their lives in Canada. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Price for tea service is $7.00 per adult and the tour is a separate fee also. ENJOY!

Great historical venue. Toronto should keep it's historical and heritage building, parks, streams and trees. Too much loss already.

Really interesting historic inn from the 1830's or so out in Etobicoke. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in Toronto's early history.

We where very pleased that we went to see Montgomery's Inn. I myself have always been interested in History. There is a lot of articles in the house that are fascinating to look at and find out what they where used for. The lady doing the tour, was very well versed on the subject and knew the answer to everyone's questions. And she through a little humor in as well. I would suggest it is a good place to go, they even had a tea room in the basement with a large operating fireplace.
All I can say is we loved it.

Montgomery's Inn will always hold a special place in my husband's and I's heart. We decided it would be the perfect backdrop to host our wedding ceremony. Once we were able to coordinate with the staff, we knew that it was a perfect match for our big day. Everything came together beautifully and we are so happy to have chosen to exchange our vows in this magnificent historic home. Thank you so much to the staff for being apart of our special day, we couldn't have done it without you.
