Would give this place 10 stars if I could! My boyfriend and I commute from Etobicoke to come here. Their pretzels are our favourite + Rosemary is such a gem. Highly recommend if you're ever in Scarborough

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to just for this place! Best bakery in the city! Food is fresh & very delicious.

European style bakery, a factory where you can find lots of breads, buns, and rolls. But I go there for the strudel, so very good. Get the whole strudel, because if you only buy the half and it finishes quickly, you think I should have gotten the whole one! My favorite is the cherry. All the flavors are good. Very good danishes as well. Go earlier because they sell out. Never disappointed with the products from here. Only when I am too late to get what I came for.

Delicious breads, croissants, strudel, pastries and other tasty baked goods, made daily from quality ingredients. Staff are always helpful and kind and serve with a smile! Shout- out to Rosemary and Nalini who always have a kind word and make extra effort for long time repeat customers. Thank you!

It was our first visit and thanks to Rosemary for great service! The pastries were delightful. We bought cinnamon, apple, blueberry danish and baguette for only $13 in total. Among all these pastries, cinnamon danish was our families favorite:)

It’s the most delicious cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life! The bread was nice because it was softer and less sweet than most bakeries.

Amazing bread fresh and soft. They have multiple choices of pastries and all of them taste so good. The service there is so good and the staff is so sweet especially to Rosemary - thank you so much

Love this old school style of bakery. Reminds me of when I was a kid going to these bakeries with my mom to pick up fresh bread and treats.

They don’t have a large selection of pastries, but what they do offer, it’s so tasty! Got some danishes and the pastry was so soft. The fillings were just the right amount of thickness. Smooth but not overbearing.

Also got some cookies. Although they are basic crunchy chocolate chip cookies, I was addicted and almost finished the entire bag!

Also got a fresh loaf of bread, which was so soft and delicate to the touch but still keeping the dense form

Service was amazing! Super friendly, never rushed me to choose and went through all the pastries in the showcase.and when I made a decision and changed my mind halfway, helped me without hesitation.

The one thing I have to do now is go back and try their strudel! Oh, and get some pizza dough too!

Great job overall! So awesome to see a bakery like this from my childhood still exist!

Love this bakery! They have delicious danishes, and I was very satisfied with the customer service provided by Rosemary. I asked her for a cherry cheese danish. However, there weren’t any left, so Rosemary brought a variety of danishes of all flavours. Thanks to Rosemary, I was able to purchase many flavours and was provided with excellent customer service.

My family has been buying delicious bakery treats at Monmartre Bakery for over 50 years! When we visit for muffins and delicious danishes we are greeted by Rosemary at the counter. She is friendly and so good with customers. It is nice to find a place with great product and even better when the service is excellent as well. Very friendly customer service and well-priced baked goods! Today I tried the almond custard bread and it was absolutely delicious! Almost addictive! A special Thank you to Rosemary and her exceptional customer service!

I came here 2 days ago and was greeted with such a disrespectful staff. I always make it a mission to make a stop here when I’m in town but when I came in, I enthusiastically said hi to the cashier and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and looked away.
The lady serving me was so rude and condescending and told me that she couldn’t cut the this long pastry in half so that my friend and I could eat it right away. Mind you, the pastry was literally right beside the knife and she said ‘we don’t offer that service anymore. I have cameras on me, I just can’t do it’ in a rude manner. What a joke this place is. I will not be returning here again. So sad that this place has very rude employees.

Went 3 pm and the place was almost cleaned out. The stuff I got was as humble as the staff. Would always recommend, pastries are TLC qual a tee

Thanks Rosemary for great service. The crumble apple pie, pretzel, bread, croissants are few of our favourites. The bakery should make more crumble apple pies daily, it's usually sold out by noon:)
