I still can't believe what happened in our wedding rental experience, and it's been a year and a half.
We rented 3 suits from Moores Cambridge: 1 groom, 2 groomsmen. The suits did not arrive for fitting until Thursday prior to a Saturday wedding. In spite of asking repeatedly in advance, we were assured this would be enough time.
Thursday came, the groomsmen got their suits. None for the groom. He followed up all day and was continuously given excuses from the staff at Moore's, and brushed off until much later in the day, when Moore's finally admitted that the GROOM'S SUIT WAS STUCK ON A FEDEX TRUCK. "Apparently" the driver was sick and somehow, in all of FedEx's ability, no one else had the key to this truck, and Moore's absolutely did not have any other suits of the same size and style in any other location nearby. A day before the wedding. Quite literally an unbelievable story, but it's the one Moore's stuck with.
Moore's sent the groom home with various pieces and told him to try them. Literally not a single one fit, it was actually laughable how oversized and small they were, like Alice in Wonderland eating the cookie.
One day prior to the wedding, this complete lack of accountability by Moore's had the groom rushing to Stars and Stitch it in Cambridge Centre to save the wedding day. To their credit, they did. And, folks, let me tell you, those two shops are all you need for your wedding day. We should have given Moore's the bill for the suit we forced to buy.
We rented from Moore's months before the wedding, only the be discounted and stuck without a suit mere hours before the wedding. And Moore's barely care.
Do not trust your wedding plans to Moore's. Do not rent from them. 100% do not recommend.
