My husband and I arrived at Moore's hoping to find a quick solution to a big problem. He needed a suit or jacket and pants to attend a funeral in two day's time. And Moore's at the Oakville Town Centre delivered. The customer service was second to none. And alterations to pants done in 24 hours! Thank you Moore's and the young man who helped us out. He was absolutely amazing.

Terrible experience for a tux rental. Don't book one there. And if you do, make sure you follow-up the receipt of it and go asap for a fitting when it's in. And fill your gas tank so you can drive back and forth multiple times to get it looking somewhat decent. Booked 2 months in advance of date. Was not called when it was supposed to be in, luckily I followed up as they had a wrong phone number on that part of the profile. Went right away - pants were way too big and short (legs were twice the width) and not even the x-slim ordered, the waistcoat was on full size too big, and the jacket too small. Next round the pants were too tight after they did extensive alterations to it. So again, more alternations at the last minute. One staff member said she wasn't sure if she could "put pressure on the tailor" the day before the wedding when the pants were too tight, lets just say it was the last thing we needed to hear at that time. I don't know how they hire or train staff there.but.
The waistcoat back adjuster didn't work and we constantly had to manually tighten it throughout the wedding event as it just hung down the back. We only rented the pants, waistcoat and jacket, no shirt or shoes, so I can't comment on those items.
I brought my concerns to Grace, Sandra and other members of staff at this location. When the tux was returned the man said to just to an online review as headoffice are aware of the issues with rentals and don't listen to staff. So I did my review.

Michael is excellent. He work with us to understand our need and make our suit shopping experience really comfortable.

I was looking for my first suit purchase since I graduated highschool and I’m really pleased to say that Moores sorted me out and especially David! He walked me through a lot of the etiquette at formals as well as the ins and outs of dressing well and how to keep the suit in perfect shape. He promised me that the pants would be ready within 3 days so just in time for my business conference and they delivered. Thank you again to moores and david for helping me out

Still great personal service for all things suits and dress clothes, been going to this store since 1999 and while not cheap, worth every dollar for quality.

Another great experience at Moores in Oakville. Grace provided excellent service, very helpful, great sense of humour and was able to find and set me up with some wonderful clothing. Not only can you get excellent service from Michael, now there is Grace!

The staff was excellent at communicating when items were shipped from abroad, ready to try on for hemming, and ready to pick up. Measurements were great.

This is my favorite Moores location. I always come here to get my suits. Came here also to get the kid's graduation suit.

Fantastic selection of suits and both dress and casual shirts. Went in to see if an old suit could be slimmed down and Sandra was terrific in showing how the new cut would fit, and when I decided to get a new suit instead she was really helpful in picking different shirts and making sure the fit of the new suit was perfect. I had a great experience here.

Grace was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Went in to be fitted for a custom suit for a buddy's wedding and came out with a great pair of shoes, custom shirt and looking forward to seeing the final product.

Excellent customer service, helpful in finding suits at their store or locating it at a different one if they don’t have it. Great selections as well.

Best Moores to go to. Customer service is amazing. Been here a bunch of times for customer suits and wedding parties. Never had an issue with anything. Met all of our needs and showed us multiple options for suits. Was attentive to both bride and grooms wants. Very knowledgable. If you need to go to a Moores, this is the one to go to!

Great salesman helped my husband with his purchase of 2 sports jackets, 2 pairs of pants and even was able to Heber the sleeves shortened for the next day, as he needed for a wedding! Excellent service! Highly recommended!

Totally recommend. Grace really went out of her way to help me find good choices for formal wear.

Love going to get clothes and Mike's advice. He has a terrific insight on how to dress appropriately and in season. Best part is there is almost always fantastic deals or great clearance items.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If you want rude, condescending and patronizing sales staff, look no further. My husband and I went in to buy executive attire. We encountered several sales staff who were clearly judging and didn't allow us the time and space to browse. What did it for us was when one staff member (older man, grey hair, wearing clothes that were 2 sizes too big for him) started lecturing us on how dress shirts should come off the shoulder and NOT allign with the shoulder! He was brash, disrespectful and clearly didn't know what he was talking about. We were out of there in no time.

If you want quality service and to be treated with respect, skip this place.

Very overpriced for their house brand suits and blazers ($500 plus). You can purchase brand name suits for lesser or equal value elsewhere.
