Farm store has a variety of products/meats, but unfortunately we had a terrible experience customer service-wise. The family and I visited the farm today (Saturday) at 4pm and the front sign noted the Farm Store was "Closed" (as it indicated that they're open Mon-Fri from 9: 30am-5: 30pm), but the sign on the Petting Animals Barn said "Open Tues-Sat 10am-5pm". So I saw what I thought to be a gentleman (my mistake) who said he was responsible for the farm and politely asked if the Animal Petting Section was open; the guy was an average built white man, middle-aged, short grey hair, pointed nose, and slim face and lips. His response: "Well read the front sign. ". I mentioned I apologize but I was confused seeing as the front sign said something different than the sign on the Petting Animals Barn (which was also on the property), and the guy replied, "we're closed, just read the other 10 signs around you. ". FYI there was only ONE sign at the front, and ONE sign on the barn.hence my confusion based on the discrepancy. Nonetheless, I said "Okay.thank you" and took my leave. - A simple "I'm sorry but we're closed; we have to update the petting barn sign" would have sufficed.
This place has lost my business out of sheer disrespect. - Incredibly rude person.
Morton's is the place to be if you're looking for wild game meat. Every cut I got from them was fantastic! It's a little out of the way, but definitely worth the trip if you're into game meats!
Very nice place. Nice people, nice produce, and nice place to visit on your way to or from Hamilton area. One of the rather unique places, where you can get exotic meats, such as wild bore, bison, elk, etc.
Awesome service, got some Australian crocodile meat and kangaroo burgers (for real, no joke). Also very clean and organized. I will definitely go back.
A very good business, if you want to have a wide variety of different meats, that are organic. They sell a lot of exotic meats that you won't find in your local supermarket.
