I was referred to Leah at the Mortgage Outlet Inc as someone who would take the time to work with me, explain all of the detailed terms and really help me understand the more complicated parts of renewing a mortgage. Her and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with and she personally was able to obtain and present multiple different options for my mortgage renewal. She was able to beat the rates hands down that the bank was offering me. She was clear, concise and able to tell me the pros and cons of each option. Do not waste your time and especially your money with this company. I dealt with Saif for a quick second mortgage to do some reno's. Now, a year later, I owe $7k more than I started with and if I renew it for another year I will owe another $1500 on top of that. These people set you up with legal loan sharks (in this case Prompt Financial Solutions and they are next on my review list). I borrowed $60k and at the end of the new renewal I will owe $69,520 and the rate for renewal is 10.99. Further, to get out of the mortgage I will have to pay "minimum" $6k. They think this is reasonable and do nothing to assist. Once they have your mortgage/loan in place they don't care. Find a company that cares about their clients, not just getting their clients money.

I spoke with Shawn and he was incredibly helpful in helping me understand the current market for rates and coaching me on how to approach my current lender. We ended up getting a great rate, and now Shawn will be my first call anytime I'm looking for a mortgage or renewal. Really love his way of doing business.
