Horrible service filled with an abundance of apologies and excuses Was here for a special occasion not many other customers literally 5-6 others dining in lots of in house staff walking around I guess they where busy on there phones was unable to get refill on drinks as we waited 2 hrs + for a food after ordering we ordered pizza and wings that 2 hrs was a little bit long for what we ordered good quality toppings. Unfortunately, we’re all wasted on an undercooked pizza witch led to an upset stomach of my guest and myself after being told this place was a must try turned out to be a total let down as I drove here from out of town in hopes to have a good meal after still paying and giving a nice tip nothing was discounted after the server acknowledged the food was not properly prepared unsafe, to serve uncooked food would not eat here agin
After reading mixed reviews on this restaurant, I went out with a group of friends this week for lunch with some reservations about it. I'm pleased to say the staff was friendly, a Manager came to our table to check in and the food was very good! I will definitely be back again!
Nice restaurant; food, service, and environment were really good. We enjoyed our meals. The nickle-and-diming is a little off putting though. Soft drinks are $4 without free refills so we paid $16 for our 2 Pepsis (with one refill each). Getting fries with your wrap is $8 more, if you want a little cup of gravy too, add another $3.50. It really adds up.
We waited ten minutes for someone to come to the table to take our order. We left. We are regulars and come from Fort Erie for Pizza. We usually get great service. Once when we were presented with the wrong pizza the owner did not charge us for the correct pizza. When ever the was a problem it was fixed. How do you solve being ignored. Did not even take a drink order as we sat down.
Overpriced drinks with no refills on the fountain pops. It feels like a once-proud business is trying to nickel-and-dime their loyal customers. Server insisted something was done properly on one of our pizzas when they clearly forgot a step in the kitchen. 2 of 3 pizzas had absolutely no sauce, or so little sauce as to be unnoticeable, last pizza had almost no cheese. Wait staff is friendly but they are the face of business that does not treat people right.
Everything starts with a perfect dough. Your pizza dough is way too sweet and story ends. Nothing else matters. (Service was noticeably slow - you will need two beers before you get your order - perhaps thats the goal - sad!) The only positive comment about this place is restaurant size - lots of space to enjoy your table company only.
Mossimos is for sure the best pizza we tried in Niagara Region followed by The Pie Guys. Unfortunately there's no more branches around and the only way to get it is going down to Fonthill
First time going here. Patio lovely. Lots of cool breeze. Pizza was fabulous! Wings cooked perfect, nice & crispy. Server was great & attentive. Will be going back soon!
WAS a regular, but after waiting 5 minutes the girl working lunch decided to serve the guy who came in after me without even acknowledging me. Pizza is good, but won't be going back.
The pizza is great. The service is dreadfully slow. †********************************************** Just wanted to give them a second chance last weekend. Waitress didn't come around for 20 minutes after they seated us. It's only 1/2 capacity so they could've at least taken a drink order. We left and went to Dominics on the 20. It's just up the road. Service was great. Pizza was great. Has anyone else had this experience here?
Pizza and cajun wings were phenomenal as always. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the sausage sub wouldn't recommend. Their pizza is one of the best I've had in Niagara Region.
Food was great, server was very accommodating with our orders. Dine out pizza slices were delicious as well, the service for take out was also very good. We shared many laughs, would definitely go again when in the area.
White pizza was DELICIOUS! The buffalo salad, however, fell a little short. Hardly any chicken and barely enough to feed one person. Maybe they gave me the half instead of the full size, but either way, it was SO disappointing. Definitely not worth the $15.
Atmosphere was great. Food was decent. The wait after ordering was on the long side (but they were busy). Service/attentiveness was good from the waitress but not so much from the manager or owner.
I took my wife and 2 children here for Mother's Day dinner after going to the Pelham Art Fair. We ordered extra so we would have some leftovers. I spent $93 before the tip and we had half a large pizza, 10 wings and a slice of each of the kids' pizzas left (one of our kids is a vegetarian and ordered the Margherita pizza, and the other ordered pepperoni). The waitress brought us 3 styrofoam clamshell to-go containers to put it all in. My wife took one up to the counter and asked for a pizza box instead. The manager (owner?) told her they would only let her have one if she would pay them $2.00, because "the pizza boxes cost $2.00 more than the styrofoam to-go containers. " Did I mention that I had already spent $93 there and it was Mother's Day? Also, they don't charge an extra $2.00 for their to-go pizzas which they put in the same boxes.
We put the wings in one clamshell, jammed/layered half a large pizza into another, and disappointed our daughter by having her pizza slice touching one with meat in the 3rd clamshell. And. Styrofoam? Really? Do they not watch the news? The waitress (who was very nice) apologized, and we could see she felt embarrassed; of course we left her a good tip as this wasn't in her ability to control.
An OK meal, but the manager/owner's demeanour really left a bad taste in our mouths at the end. Congratulations to him for saving the $2.00.of course it will cost them lots of future $93.00 sales from us as we will likely not make an effort to return. Not much of a savings for him after all. My Grandfather used to call this “stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny” (hint: it is not an admirable trait).
4 of us were there last night and the pizza was the worst I have ever had. At $20.00 for a 8 slice medium pizza you should be in jail. The service was also very poor.
We ordered a calzone and a gluten-free pizza. The waiter was super friendly and helpful. The pizza was done perfectly and the calzone had a nice crispy cover. Price was also reasonable.
Honestly, after all of the hype about how good this place was, I have to say I was really disappointed. The pizza was very blah. Definitely needed something.
I work near Mossimos and I usually work all day so I will frequently order lunch from them. Actually, our entire staff does and we frequently use them for catering as well. They're usually great but my last experience with them kinda turned me off. We ordered a bruschetta pizza, a roasted red pepper chicken sub and a caprice salad. All things we've had before and are usually great. The salad was so soggy it was falling apart. The entire bottom was filled with water (generally the cheese is patted down before being used, definitely wasnt). The pizza was pure onions with a few scatter tomato bits. Supposed to have basil and a bunch of other flavors.all you could taste was onions. The sub was soggy and crusty at the same time. The inside and bottom were soggy while the top of the sub was stale and crunchy. Normally I dont complain about food, especially take out. I honestly cant be bothered. But this all cost $54 and because I order from them all the time, I felt I should complain. Not because I want free stuff, but because it honestly was inedible and I'm now out 50$ and still hungry. The managers response when I called? "Huh, we havent had any other complaints tonight. We'll keep that in mind, thanks for calling. " The end. I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. I order from here at least twice a week, the clinic I'm the manager at orders from it frequently and I just dont think it's a great way to treat frequent customers. The apologies dont do me any good. Pretty annoyed.
Saturday night at 11pm, just tried to order take out. The young lady answering the phone couldnt stop laughing at someone else she was talking to. As she was on the phone with me. Seriously? 3 times she stopped our conversation to laugh at someone. I asked her if I was interrupting her other conversation by placing an order. She must be the owners daughter to be so flippant and unprofessional. I told her not to bother with my order and hung up. If the order taker on the phone was like that whats the kitchen staff like? Felt like I was on the phone with a high school cafeteria. No thanks. I'll take my $50 and spend it elsewhere.
Pizza was good. Close to authentic Italian pizza. Booths were tight. I was going to order dessert but service was slow. I'd do take out only next time.
This is a bright, clean, and modern spot to grab a quick bite or a nice dinner with your husband/wife, friends, or family. The windows are big, offering loads of light and a view of the passing cars on Highway 20. The food is awesome and relatively well priced. There is plenty of parking in the business plaza behind the restaurant. Just pull in on the right side of the building off the street. Enjoy!
Seeing these guys go from the little store front on Pelham Road to a huge, dedicated building means a lot for a business & I am glad to bear witness first hand of their success.
If only they expanded to other cities, spreading their joy with more people.that's why they got 4 stars from me.
Great pizza, great people & especially service, just out of the way & only worth grabbing if you're in the area.
Great Place. Servers were doing The Best They Could. Kitchen Staff Screwed Up Serving Times . In Relation To Who Placed Order First. So Many That Ordered First Were Serves Last. Very Poor Organization. No Wet Naps for the Finger Foods, Nearing the end, styrofoam take out containers just randomly placed on the table of food/ BUT. RIGHT ON TOP OF OUR REMAINING PIZZA LEFTOVERS. OUR PARTY CONSISTED OF 6TABLES I BELIEVE. GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A GENEROUS TIP! WHEN IT CAME TIME TO TAKE CARE OF OUR BILL. MANAGER MADE NO APPEARANCE. NO HELLO AT THE BEGINNING & NO GOODBYE MERRY CHRISTMAS EITHER NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE CANDY OR MINT WHEN THE BILL AMOUNT WAS BEING TAKEN CARE OF?
DISSATISFIED WITH HOW THE HANDLING OF THE WHOLE SERVING/TIMING SITUATION COMPLETELY!
TOTALLY MISMANAGED
NOT IN A HURRY TO RETURN. ~~~~~~~~~~OR~~~~~~~~ RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO FRIENDS & FAMILY, UNFORTUNATE FOR THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION?
One day or yesterday got some pizza and wings the wings were really good pizza is pretty good as well I got medium wings are really well done the staff at the take-out area are really friendly guys what 100% recommend and go again
Never in my life have I ever been so disrespected. The manager on duty "Brandon/Brendon"'s solution for the 3rd time in a row of an incorrect order is to drive a plate of ground beef to our house since it was forgotten to be added to our order of nachos. When we call to explain our frustration, not rude or condescending, he tells us "i cant help you tonight". Seriously? So we drive the nachos back to receive a refund where he tries to pull a fast one and continues to tell us he will no longer serve us-apparently you missed the memo on respect & ethical management. You know we have been loyal customers since Moss was at the corner or Hwy 20 & South Pelham. I feel bad for Moss, his business is being represented by individuals who do not understand customer service and not to mention they lack how mom and pop businesses rely on the community. Its fine Brandon or Brendan whatever your name may be, our family and extended family will bring our business to Volcanoes where at least they care about the service they provide. Mic drop.
