Motel 6 Kingston

This is a great spot for a quick stay. It's super basic, but the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean.

Excellent séjour de 3 nuits. Très propre. Ma chambre était à l’opposé de l’autoroute, aucun bruit.

Clean, basic motel. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice. Location is a little odd (behind a truck facility in an industrial park), but it was well marked from the 401 highway. No issues and would stay there again.

Great location and very clean. Front desk was amazing.
My room was on the first level and close to the stairwell - that was a bit loud.

Not a bad place to stop. Close to the highway. Clean. Comfortable beds. Priced right. Nothing extra to be sure but that's not what we expected or paid for.

What can I say about Hotel 6 the room is always clean I haven't seen a floor that is so clean in my lifetime when it comes to a hotel

Hotel clean and comfortable. Great room size, shower and beds.
Good experience. The only problem for me was that the pillow was to high, but you can bring your own if you like thinner pillow.

Clean, renovated, cheap and staff is polite. But I don't give five stars just because is far from downtown. But if you don't mind it, I recommend this hotel.

Was given the wrong room I booked and when offered to refund my stay they when back and charged me in full the next day

We were a little wary to stay here due to a very negative experience at a motel 6 in Brampton Ontario. However, they were the only facilities in the area that was pet friendly so we decided to try it out.
We had a very positive experience. The building was very clean and the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, the wifi worked and was fast. The staff had some great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. They allow dogs to stay at no extra charge, which we really appreciate. We are happy we gave this franchise another chance.

I called them to clean my room and when I went to sleep I noticed they had re-used the dirty sheets to make my bed. Absolutely disgusting.

My booking last weekend, was bungled up, thanks to a mix up between the hotel and patrons booking through booking.com. I had booked a room with a kitchenette a month in advance, over telephone, but upon arrival was offered a room without the facility, albeit at a discounted price, but without any explanation, till pressed upon. A sad highlight of my trip.

Our stay overall was good. I was disappointed in the service when we arrived however as I wanted to pay interac and instead of the clerk telling me that the machine wasn’t working he said “good luck“. It was irritating and not a great start.the room was clean and average good for one night stay.

Staff is very good. Location is directly off the 401. Rooms are small, smells musty for looking kind of renovated. Good if you just want a room for a night. Would not recommend anything else

The room was fine - comfortable enough bed, clean bathroom, terrible TV reception but perfect for a one night stay. I have a problem with places that are in the customer service business but offer bad customer service. When i discovered a billing issue after my stay, no one at this hotel could be bothered to respond to my messages in an effort to help me resolve. Not impressed!

Fantastic stay. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with a modern feel. I will definitely stay again.

Very nice and very clean. The washrooms are new. The rooms are a bit small and the doors a bit noisy. It worth it.

The girl at the front desk denied my rental of a room when im 8 hours away from my home. Had the motel6 head off tell them that they have to let me rent a room and they still denied me. Please dont stay here

Was a nice clean place, but the mattress was not comfortable had a bad night sleep, springs kept poking me in the ribs. Staff was friendly and nice

Having to travel twice during the pandemic, we were relieved to find a pet friendly hotel whose protocols and cleanliness meet our standards. The rooms are clean and well kept, the lobby and hallways well ordered. In particular, we found Carolann to be very polite and helpful throughout this difficult period. Many thanks to her and the staff.

Excellent value for bare-bones accommodation. Staff is friendly, rooms are very clean, free internet is fast and stable. Rooms are quite spartan; table/desk is a little small, but beds are comfortable.

In response to the GM, a credit card and ID were shown on arrival so your response is lacking correct information! Poor customer service shown by your staff and manager! But COMFORT INN were more then happy to have us stay with them and was much nicer then your motel! They also need a credit card and ID and were more then happy to allow my father to use his credit card and ID and not make him stay with us in the room! I travel a lot and know a lot of people that travel and would warn everyone I know not to spend a dime at your motel! Everyone if your thinking of staying at Motel 6 don’t waste your time get off at the Division St exit and stay at COMFORT INN much nicer place and stay

Very clean and spacious room with the usual amenities. I wasnt a fan of the style if the decor but that's just me.

The bathroom was modern, roomy, and the shower had plenty of water pressure - if you stay in motels, you'll know this is a thing.

Clean room, good service, value for money. However, rooms facing highway are quite loud (noise of trucks in night)

The rooms were clean and adequate. The real disappointment was the planned power outage on Sunday morning from 7-11am. We could not take a shower as no hot water, there was no coffee in the lobby. If I had known ahead of time I would have booked another hotel.

I booked a room for me and my son who is a newborn, for one night on a Thursday. I drove from Toronto to Kingston and ended up getting to the motel 2 hours earlier. I went to check in and they wouldn’t let me check in early since they have a “strict” policy of check in at 3pm no earlier or later, that I wasn’t aware of. So I asked if there were another room I could get since I’ve been driving all day with my baby who is now hungry. The lady at the front desk plainly said no rules are rules, with no compassion or kindness in her tone or on her face. She also told me there were no more rooms available without even checking. The parking lot had a max of 5 cars, 3 probably employees. I began to cry slightly out of frustration, as she stood by the desk waiting for me to leave. Lucky for me quality inn was across the way from motel 6, I asked if she knew what time there check in was. She replied with well they’re double our price. It became very clear that she was judging me based on the fact I am a young Africans Canadian girl with a baby and she wanted nothing to do with me. I will never stay at a motel 6 again. Quality Inn took me in with no hassle and a professional atmosphere for me and my baby.

Excellent stay at the motel 6 in Kingston. Room was very clean and having a min fridge was a nice bonus!

Very convenient location close to the 401 highway. My only complaint about my stay was the room seemed to have a lot of sand and small bits of gravel on the floor. I always tip the maid, these folks work hard for their money, but I could not tip this time. I will returning to the Motel 6 in the very near future.

We often stay at Motel6 in Kingston for an overnight stay on road trips. A completely adequate hotel for a nights stay. Staff has always been friendly, rooms have always been clean (nice to not have carpets, feels cleaner). Our only issue is the pillows, not that comfortable (but that's a personal thing).

The room was very basic but everything I needed. The only "problem" would be the floor was not quite a clean as I would prefer. Not really bad but there were a few spots that could have used mopping.

Our stay for 2 nights was way over-priced for what we received. The rooms were very clean and the staff was adequate.

Not a good choice. There was no iron in the room. The washroom had no heating vent. There were noises from the other rooms until late in the night. Was more pricey than the other similar hotels for the value.

Very clean and affordable although they say queen beds they are 2 small for 2 tall people to sleep comfortably in.

Clean, modern and simple hotel. Only downfall is that it’s very cold in the room, and theres only a thin sheet and a thin blanket. Other than that, it is spacious and clean and a nice spot to stay for the night.

Excellent location just off the highway, perfect for a quick sleep on our drive between Toronto and Montreal. Would stay again in the future.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The pillows could be better quality but we had our own so that didn't bother us either. I really like that the floor is not carpeted. Carpet is so dirty. Would rank this hotel higher if there was a pool.hot tub and a better breakfast.

Clean basic rooms. Some of the trim work starting to come apart, and the TV is not great. However for the price point it's great.

I enjoyed staying at Motel6. My only complaint is that the indoor noise (fan & fridge) is really annoying. But no noise from Highway 401, or otherwise. Come to think of it I also found the blanket rather thin.

I like that the hotel was newly modernized. However, there are a few things I encountered during my stay that je less than ideal. The corporate discount code worked for me on the main motel6 website when I booked but when I check-in the code did not work, employee had to call the manager on the phone. It was a cold day in January and there were only 2 thin blankets on the bed so i raised the temp but its only blowing air so my sleep was not as restful due to the chills. I was toi à Leroy to Gall thé front desk. I used the gym, there was only really light weights and really heavy, no 10,15,20,25,30 pounds weights. Also there were no more wipes left in the container. Coffee, drinks and muffin was a nice touch.

Excellent no-frills accommodation. We got what we needed at a very fair price. Nice hotel, and everything was super-clean. Staff was great.

I called to ask a simple question and the lady paused before answering for like 1min wasn't sure if we were still connected.then she answered were rudely Yes. I was also going to book a room but I will not be staying here If you booking service is this rude how rude is the rest

Very nice for a 1 night stay. Room on the small side with no comfortable chair to sit in. TV service non HD. But good for the price. Average rating based on comparing to other alternatives. The free tea/coffee a nice touch.

Pet friendly, clean and friendly staff. My only issue was waking up to the news that Trump had won the election but that's not the hotel's fault ;)

Interesting room designs. Bed mattresse wasn't secured to the platform. As a restless sleeper I woke up with the mattress half off the platform. Other then that the room was quite nice.
