I got my daughter’s ears pierced with Kyle and he did an amazing job with her. He was very kind and explained everything he was going to do. The whole experience went better than what I expected! My daughter was only 5 months old and it healed perfect! I then ended up getting some piercings done myself with Kyle around Christmas and again was very happy! Thank you!

I wasn’t too sure about the location before hand but when I walked in it’s such of a clean, an amazing space.the staff is welcoming and friendly. Sam did amazing job.

I have always wanted to get cartilage ear piercings but was too scared before to get any. I decided to go here after looking through different tattoo/piercing locations online. My very first service was an industrial which I was super nervous about getting but the piercer, Kait, was very friendly and very professional. She did a great job and I went back for more piercing services which were also done very well! All my fears of piercings are gone now. Thanks again Kait!

I had to come and show my girl Liv some love. I have 5 tattoos from her and i have decided she is my tattoo artist for life! She is honestly one of the most talented people ive ever met & is the most sweetest human ever. The conversations i have with her are always amazing, she is so patient & kind. She really puts her heart into her work. I’m planning to come see her soon & she is working on a memorial piece for my kitty, when i tell you if you’re like me where you enjoy the artist to have their own take on artwork and have free range in your design OLIVIA WILL DELIVER EVERY TIMEEE! I would let Liv design a tattoo and put it on my body without seeing it, shes just THAT good! A few people in my family have gotten tattoos from other artists here and honestly EVERYONE is so great! Motorcity is just overall a great place from the front desk to the artists ️

MITCH IS SO TALENTED! I asked for a rib tattoo and an arm tattoo. Both were done so quick and such fine line work. Great artist, says it as it is. Very honest (in a good way lol). Super great atmosphere.

I had my industrial, conch, lobe and daith piercings here by Kyle and I loved it, the pain was not bad at all. The staff and everyone else was also really friendly. Thinking of getting a tragus piercing from them again. Definitely recommend 10/10

Booked an appointment to get my nieces 4 month old ears pierced. We were very nervous, but Kyle was a dream! He was so kind, gentle and explained the process step-by-step (which was super helpful). It went seamless! He gave us the room afterwards to get ourselves sorted (feed) and told us not to rush and take our time. Would recommend his services. Truly an expert! Thanks again Kyle.

I had a great experience at this shop. Everything was organized, everyone was friendly, the shop was clean, and most importantly my tattoo turned out fantastic. Meg is really good with floral and fine line. The prices are also very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again.

I got a tattoo done there years ago (maybe like 5 years ago) and have been obsessed with it ever since, it turned out amazing! I had a girl do it at that time and since then I wanted to get another one and definitely knew which place to go to.
This time I wanted a simple lightbulb tattoo with a bit of color, semi-realistic/semi cartoony, I searched each artist individually through the website and all their social media sites to get a better understanding of their work and to see which one would work best for the style I was looking for and I found Alex.
She was extremely understanding and patient with me and definitely understood how I wanted it to appear, we worked together with sizing and fonts for the writing underneath and I am extremely happy with how everything turned out and the pricing was extremely reasonable.

I got 2 tattoos done today by Ocean. She is absolutely incredible. As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed and comfortable. She did a fantastic job and I’ll definitely be going back for more.

I simply wanted to change my piercings in my right ear (2)
The apprentice almost lost my one piercing as the earring fell out within three weeks and the other was too big.
Also tried asking about other piercings that I could be possible get done a couple times and he didn't seem interested in answering or getting more business.

Customer service is top tier. I went in for two piercings today and ended up fainting after the first. Kait, my piercer, was very understanding and very helpful in keeping a safe eye on me while her coworkers grabbed me an ice pack, juice, and water. She made me feel very safe and comfortable, and did not rush me. Despite my feelings of nausea, this was the best piercing experience ive ever had and will definitely be returning:)

I’ve gone here twice now to get a tattoo, and I highly recommend! Alex was very nice and made the atmosphere and process very comforting. She did an amazing job, im in love with my new tattoos!

First time at this shop I got a flash from their apprentice, Ocean! She absolutely amazed me with her professionalism and AMAZING line work. The tattoo was done better than some experienced artist I've been to and that says a LOT. She is great at what she does.

I'll 100% be going back to get some flowers added to my back tattoo from her. 10/10 I absolutely recommend.

Great shop. I've been tattooed on multiple occasions by both Nolan and Alex and both are absolutely fantastic. They both are talented artists, make me feel safe and comfortable, and I love my work done by both! Everyone is always super friendly and welcoming and the shop is constantly being cleaned while your there! I definitely recommend Nolan and Alex but also all the artists as they are all incredible!

Have had 14 piercings here done by both piercers, I cannot speak more highly of the service, staff and establishment, they even have titanium upgrades (most local shops do not), I will continue to support this business in the future and always refer others here.

Had a tattoo done from Justin who was very professional and kind. He has great skill and was very considerate and patient when I had alot of questions about fonts for script. As a whole motor city is also very accommodating and answered all my questions about both tattoos and piercings! I'm looking forward to going back!

I have trusted Lorena for years with a number of different services. I had a dark sunspot on the left side of my face that was really bothering me, so I reached out to Lorena to see if she would be able to help. I went in for my consultation and decided to do the treatment the same day, she explained everything to me thoroughly and even treated a sunspot on my hand. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with her service as usual and the amazing results and removal of the sunspot, she also removed one on my hand the same day. Lorena provided me all the aftercare instructions, checked on me a few hours later to see how I was doing and also had followed up with me the next day. If you also have concerns about sunspots, I would definitely reach out to Lorena for her professional opinion and advice on how she could help you. Lorena helped me with a laser scar revision. Not only was she great at explaining the procedure to me, but she took the time to freeze the area and even walked me through some guided meditation while I was getting ‘zapped! ’
She did a great job, I’m very happy with the results and would highly recommend her if you’re looking to have an old scar lasered! It’s not just a procedure for old unwanted tattoos!

Ive had one session of microneedling done by Lorena and the results are amazing! I had Microneedling done on my old self-harm scars from highschool and after just one session they almost appear gone! They have flattened out and reduced in appearance! I am so happy with the results so far and am excited to see what they will look like after the second session. Lorena was great at walking me through step by step and providing after care instructions. She was a pleasure to spend time with and was caring, non-judgemental and kind! I would recommend her service to anyone with scars they wish to get rid of for whatever reason!

Trevor at Motor City Tattoos is amazing! His work is unbelievable. I have been to him twice and plan to book more. He is professional and does not rush the tattoo, and ensures you are comfortable and happy throughout the session. I have had a few tattoos before elsewhere and no where tops his work or service - I would recommend him 100% over and over. The shop is also extremely neat and everyone is so welcoming!

I got my first tattoo and piercing from motor city (almost 10 years ago) and recently started getting art done by Alex at their newer location! The staff is SO friendly and welcoming, the shop is clean and well respected by lots of people in the community! I couldn’t recommend any artist at this shop (but especially Alex!) enough and or piercing services and although I’ve not tried their other services I’m confident they’re also great!
