Lovely park with some great views. I can talk here in about 20-25 minutes with my dog, Ollie (I used to always take my old girl Matilda here as well, one of the first places I took her when I adopted her from the SPCA, along with her 'sister' Suki the Shiba Inu and before Matilda, Hamish the Scottie). For some interesting wildlife sightings, watch out for the vultures! They raise their young on the escarpment.

Great place for a walk along the mountain brow with unobstructed views over Hamilton and on a clear day, all the way to Toronto. Concession Street is just a block away if you want a coffee, snack or great ice cream to enjoy while you stroll. Especially pretty right now with the leaves changing colour.

This is a very nice and big park. Good playground equipment for kids. Lots of open space to play games. Great multipurpose pathway with a beautiful view along the top of the escarpment for walkers, runners, cyclists, etc. And it has good parking (free, 2 hr limit)

Haven't been here in years and was happy to see thengreat condition the park is in! Well maintained and surprisingly busy. Was cool to see how many people showed up to watch the sunset as we did.

The scenery here is so beautiful! It's a great walking area and pretty public as many people use this park.

APPARENTLY, NO ONE WHO THAT HAS WALKED THIS TRAIL HAS NOTICED THE VERY "LOW GUARD RAIL" THAT RUNS PART OF THE LENGTH, TOWARDS THE SHERMAN CUT. IT IS A VERY, VERY STEEP DROP. A KID, ANIMAL OR PERSON NOT PAYING ATTENTION AND TALKING WILDLY ON THEIR CELL PHONE COULD EASILY FALL AND TRIP. MAYBE THE CITY IS LOOKING FOR MORE LAWSUITS! UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WAS A HIGHER GUARDRAIL THAT WAS IN PLACE BEFORE THAT WAS TAKEN DOWN DUE TO AGE. INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE SAME HEIGHT, THE CITY DECIDED THAT COST CUTTING WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SAFETY, JUST LIKE THEY THOUGHT WHEN THEY DID THE RED HILL VALLEY PARKWAY AND CUT COSTS SO PEOPLE DIED AND WERE INJURED NEEDLESSLY AND SENSELESSLY. LETS HOPE WHEN ANDREA HORWATH GETS IN AS MAYOR OF HAMILTON SHE WILL FIX THESE COST CUTTING MEASURES THAT IMPACT THE SAFETY OF THE CITIZENS OF HAMILTON.

The park and walk way have amazing views of the lower city. Some of the walk way is cracked do to tree root movement or erosion from the moutain side. It is still a great place for a scenic walk with an incredible view of the city of hamilton.

Also went to the play area with grandson. Walkway was plowed. Still snow covered in spots due to drifting.

Looking for a nice place to walk and an amazing view of the Hamilton city? Then this is the perfect spot for walk + view.

It does lack garbage bins, so dispose your waste properly

Beautiful park with a lovely view of the city. Fantastic for biking, skateboarding or even picnicking. Not especially large, but it's a beautiful use of the space.

Mountain drive is place up on mountain from where you can have a look on entire Hamilton, some part of Burlington, Ontario lake, Toronto, CNtower and a beautiful view. Mountain drive park is also a perfect place for workout, you see a lot of people doing exercises in the evening, eventually at the dead end in west, there are kentworth stairs which are 498 in countings and a perfect exercise for legs if we go up and then down. Ultimately, i love the place, i go there everyday.
Thanks.

Mountain drive park is a beautiful park located at the edge of the hills. It has a long walking trails, number of seats for relaxing and kids playing playing areas. You can come with your kids and pets to this place, they all will enjoy the evening walks. This part is located in the quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place.

Little park along the mountain brow. Nice view of Downtown Hamilton. Some weird people hang around and there is a lot of old shoes, boots, and other clothing scattered in the park and on picnic tables. Children's park with slides and swings.

One of the best places to park and take in the view of downtown Hamilton, Hamilton East, Skyway Bridge, Lake Ontarion and the downtown Toronto skyline

I run past this park a few times a week.

It's well maintained and has a nice playground.

It's rare to find dog poop here too, which is nice.

A nice park.you can walk at least a kilometer at the edge of the escarpment. Part of it is heavily treed but walk further toward the hospital and there is an excellent view of the city and lake below.
