Mountain Orchards

Love going here every fall with my girlfriend to take pictures with the apple trees, corn maze and in the forest trail.the thing we look most forward to though are the apple cider donuts and the pecan butter tarts. In my opinion the butter tarts deserve an award! Every time i eat them they are like crack, i just want to keep eating them and not stop. I bought 2 packs of the tarts yesterday and they are all gone today. And I’m hoping to go back next weekend to buy as many as possible before they close for the year. Anyone who reads this you need to try the pecan butter tarts! You will not regret it other than you’ll be wishing you bought more!

Very well run. Busy day when we were there but we're able to navigate the crowds well-very organized. If you want an old school apple picking afternoon this is THE place. Plus, their donuts are to die for! Heads up there's a spot by the exit with predicted apples sometime at reduced price! We got half price bags.what a steal for canned pie filling! But I didn't see this until we had already picked ours. Just so you know. ;)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great quality apples and goodies. Jusy get there early as they sell out quickly.

Ambrosia apples finally! So happy there are soooooooo many trees filled with these tasty, juicy (& versatile) apples this year.

We go there almost every year for apple picking. The kids enjoy picking the apples and playing in the playgrounds after that. I love how the playgrounds are so simple, yet entertaining.

Great for the kids. Apples a bit more expensive than I’d like but this is totally compensated by the fact that the whose attractions are free.
It is a must for the fall. Make sure to check in advance if you have a favorite apple variety and they pick different apples at different times.

This Orchard is like the king of all orchards. There’s a wagon ride, hay jump, playground, store, canteen.you could spend the entire day here & not get bored. The apples are typical apple-orchard expensive, but I see it as you’re paying for the experience, not just the apples. And it’s so worth it!

Cute spot for apple picking with my niece and nephews. We had tons of fun and left with lots of delicious apples.

Plan to make this an annual family tradition! So much to do for the whole family and the fresh apple donuts were chef kiss!

Excellent spot to go apple picking. There is an afternoon worth of activities for your family. Corn maze, play grounds, hay stacks to play in. Lots of fun for kids.

I was curious to visit an apple farm in Ontario, hence, visited this place on Thanksgiving weekend this year. Though the weather was not cooperative anyway, we drove there around noon. Near reception, we hopped on the ride towards the farthest point available for us. There was quite a good number of folks picking and filling their bags with apples. I liked the empire variety the most follwed by the yellow courtyard ones. Near the receptio, they have a cafe, some activites for kids, and prepicked apples. Washrooms are available all around the place. It was fun.
Not to mention, there was a mini maze and a forest trail as well.

Loved the nostalgia of picking apples with the family at Mountain Orchards. Highly organized, well run facility with lots to do on site for families, forest trail walks, and lessons on the various types of apples and how to pick them and which ones to use for baking, sauce, etc. Loved it!

Great apples. Great place, people and ambience. The problem is at 2.5$/lb to pick your own apples this is becoming prohibitively expensive.

Free to go. Pay for your apples. And everything except the food, beverages and apples are to be paid for:)

Great for kids. They don't care if you eat the apples off the trees. Lots of games for kids like the hay jump, tether ball, tractor ride (although line is 15 minutes) playground (sand pit with toys). Food (hot dogs, sausage fried etc) available. Fresh donuts (although very long wait) worth the drive, make a day of it.

Best area for apple picking in the city! There’s enough play areas for a toddler/kid to keep them busy and there’s also a picnic area so you can definitely bring your lunch to share! Don’t forget to try their mini donuts or head on to their wagon ride!

Mountain Orchards is an activity that we look forward to every year. It is such a beautiful place and there is so much to do. The forest trails are beautiful for walking and the kids always enjoy the large corn maze and the rocking horses. The BBQ is great and the cider and apple donuts are always a hit. See you again next year!

Nice place to pick apples. They have great apples and a cute play area for families with kids.

Amazing experience. Weekend was SUPER busy with very long lines leading into the store and to the tractor flat bed rides. The apples are delicious and the experience was nice. Old tractors for the kids to sit on and play around by; tire playground (big tires in the ground that the kids can run and play around) ; a corn maze, etc! The apple cider is delicious. Check their website to see what apple type they have available to pick and when.

I absolutely love coming here.
My family would take me when I was younger and I've carried on the tradition to go with mine now. It's just one of those places that never gets old. It's clean, the staff are always some informative and friendly. Gives you the feeling of being home. Of course, the apples, cider and donuts are obviously fantastic as well.

Love that we can also bring our dog here as well:)
