Move With Grace Dance Studio

I put my son in junior hip hop with Mr Derek and Zackary really enjoyed the experience! Mr Derek is a great teacher and interacts with the kids perfectly. My son also attended their summer camp for a few weeks and he loved going! The staff here are all incredibly kind and helpful, thank you everyone:)

This is a wonderful studio. Welcoming, inclusive, and they really know their stuff. My 8-yr old daughter and 5-yr old son feel like part of a family here, and are busting out milestones in terms of confidence, artistry, and technique. Highly recommended for anyone who wants an extracurricular for their kids that is highly engaging, healthy, and promotes self-discipline and teamwork in a positive framework.

My 4 yo who refuses to talk to strangers, and to be honest barely acknowledges her classmates at school, LOVES coming here. She has been there 2 years, but because of COVID, this year was her first recital and I was convinced she would refuse to get on stage. Instead she was front and centre and so proud of herself, and tonight at the end of year party she walked right into the middle of the room and started dancing and ignored me completely for the next hour and a half. This is the same kid I have to hold her hand and stand in line at school every day until she goes inside.

She even named her new barbies Miss Melissa and Miss Elena, and says she loves everyone at the studio including Jim (who she refuses to talk to). As someone who was a lifelong dancer, and had to change studios when we moved when I was a teenager and ended up quitting dance because of it, I can say I really appreciate a studio which is so accomplished, and yet so friendly and welcoming to everybody, no matter their age or skill level.

I have 2 children that danced competitively at Move with Grace for 8 years. The techniques they learned were exceptional and the environment at this studio was beyond my expectations. Not only did my kids learn to work hard on their dance skills they became part of a dance family. This studio also nurtures the importance of self growth, self worth, positive body images as we are shapes and sizes and life long friendships were built. My children are now grown and no longer at Move With Grace but our family still have very strong connections and friendships with Robyn Jim and their family and our dance community.

My brother and I danced at Move With Grace for eight years. Quality training with an emphasis on personal development in addition to technical skills make this studio stand out from others. The staff team truly cares about every dancer’s well-being and works incredibly hard to create a safe and encouraging space for everyone to grow, both as dancers and as people. Award winning technique and choreography, as well as a healthy, positive environment, is a rare combination in the dance world and Move With Grace has it all.

Move with Grace is the most amazing dance glass our there. My daughter has had the best memories dancing with them for over 13 years now. This family business is wonderful, they are so talented and the kindest, understanding, helpful, people I know. They actually love our kids and put in 100% effort to make children shine and feel at home ️

Move With Grace deserves more than 5 stars. They have an amazing studio space with multiple class rooms, superb staff with years of experience and qualifications under their belt. But the best part about a dance studio like this is the second family you get to be a part of. A truly wonderful place for your child to be.

Dancing and creative movement were always a priority in our children’s education, that’s why we were so thrilled when we found this school. Technique, quality and artistry are all learned at Move with Grace. If you would like real dance instructors who know what they are doing, who are enthusiastic and have a great attitude, then I would highly recommend enrolling in this school.

MWG is an exceptional dance studio. They have fun, caring and knowledgeable staff. I had two of my boys in MWG. Both my boys learned not only how to dance but how to be respectful, confident, and care about others. One went on to receive 2 invites to be on team Canada and danced in music videos. Once my boys stopped dance I put my niece in from a total different city but the drive was worth it. Then I put my great niece in. MWG is family not just a dance studio

Move With Grace is more than a dance studio. It’s a family. The lifelong lessons (confidence, teamwork, trust and skill) my girls have learned will only benefit them, whatever they choose to do as a future career. The friendships they (and I) have gained are forever friends. We couldn’t be happier!
From timid, shy little girls who overcame their doubts and self esteem challenges, my girls are competing with solos and loving every moment! When the dance year ends in June, all they can talk about is how much they want to get back to the studio.

Looking back over our dance photos, I am amazed at how far my daughter has come in such a short period of time. Started in recreational dance then 1 year of precompetitive, and last year in her 4th competitive, she got the opportunity to compete at the world level, competing with a few team mates in Poland - bringing home GOLD for Canada. All of these amazing accomplishments thanks to the love, dedication, open arms, and hearts of the Move With Grace family - the studio owners, the teachers, and Comp team parents. My daughter has been dancing at Move With Grace for the last 5 years and my other 3 kids have all been at the studio over the years as well. We love everything about our experience here! The staff is amazing, the technique my kids have learned has been top notch, but my favorite thing about Move With Grace is the family. The studio is our second family, from the amazing owners, teachers, every single child and parent; we are a village not only in our childrens love of dance but in life. It’s the most genuinely loving and caring studio I’ve ever been to! Everyone is super great and tons of fun. During my time at Move with Grace I have been given so many opportunities to grow and have improved more than I ever thought I could. When I first came to the studio I was super shy and nervous but since then Move with Grace has helped me improve my confidence inside and outside of the studio. I can’t say enough good things about Move with Grace. Both of our daughters have danced there for the last 7 years, since they were 6 and 4 years old. There is no where that they would rather dance! Move with Grace is an incredibly friendly studio and is like a second home to me and my sister. Being a part of the studio has given me a chance to grow and become more confident in myself in more ways than one. I have always been more shy than not and dancing at Move with Grace has helped me become more outgoing and confident inside and outside the dance community. Move with Grace is a family based excellent dance studio that develops great dancers and great people. Our daughter has won three World Championship Ballet and Jazz medals in Poland over the last two years, has developed so well, and has been fully trained by Robyn, Ellyna and their staff. The family’s are all friends with each other and the atmosphere has absolutely no politics or negative energy. It’s awesome. They are professionals and they care about all people deeply. Proud parent and can say it’s been an outstanding investment in money and time for us.
