Mowat Landing Cottages

This is an awesome spot.rustic quiet and very scenic. Trevor was amazing to deal with very helpful and honest.highly recommend this place.

This was our second visit to Mowat Landing Cottages. Our first visit was a stay in the "Love Shack" for one night and we LOVED it. The jacuzzi was such a treat and sitting on the screened-in deck was a beautiful way to watch the sunset, and boats come in to the neighbouring public dock. While we were there, we discovered the camping area and fell in love so we came back to camp!

Our second visit was to use the tenting facilities which were huge, spacious sites with a fire pit and views of the river. We had two families of ducks visit our shoreline and we were witness to many other beautiful sites of wildlife and light boat traffic. We brought out boat, launched from the public site with no wait and were able to dock at Mowat Landing Cottages. The atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful.

This little piece of heaven on earth is such a beautiful find and we will be back to camp there often while we boat and fish the Montreal River. We may even arrange a shuttle to get to the beautiful Lady Evelyn but honestly, there were so few boats on the Montreal River that we would be happy to avoid the boat traffic on L. E. If you love to fish, and want a beautiful, quite location to do so - this is it. Check out the cottages or grab a campsite. The host is fabulous and accommodating. Such a great stay.

We had an excellent day, @MowatLandingCottages #mowatlandingcottages. We were accommodated the same day and were adventuring on some of the best water Northern Ontario has to experience. Call or message there has been some excellent availability this year for any season.

Got a camping site for a day for Lady Evelyn. Camp site was beautiful and well maintained. Very nice boy at the front who helped me with my questions. Trevor was very accommodating.

Went in for a week tried to do the Golden staircase. Weather didn't cooperate but still always an amazing time, highly recommend.

This place rocks. We stayed in a small cabin with a King bed and a Jacuzzi tub in the main room. View was looking west over a river which made for excellent evening porch time. Part of the porch was screened in too I case the bugs get to you. Staff is super friendly and will look after whatever you need. New Liskear is about 25 mins away with a Walmart, restaurants (check out 28 on the Lake) and grocery stores. Finally the location is on a water way system that goes for miles and miles so you can literally spend weeks boating or fishing. I'd recommend checking this place out if you like getting away from it all but still want a few comforts.

Rented a pontoon boat with my wife and had the best day in a long time located right on the montreal river they also rent real nice cottages if you want to escape the nonsense of the city or looking for a change of scenery I recommend mowat landing cottages the owners are super nice and polite their dogs are adorable and friendly just a slice of heaven in the north country we will definitely return for more fun and relaxation slept like a baby that night check it out

We had a lovely experience at the Love Shake Cabin. The jacuzzi tub was amazing! Trevor was very accommodating. We had lots of fun renting a canoe and boat.

Mowat Landing Cottages, beautiful place, well kept, owners Trevor and Lisa Graydon are pleasent, friendly and very helpful. We first went to Mowat's landing cottages 7 years ago for 2 days to start our honeymoon. We have been returning and will keep going back in the future. Great place to relax, fish and just enjoy. Recommending this place to anyone who wants to get away from the busy every day life.

We have stayed here twice this summer, the hosts Trevor and Lisa were so amazing checking in frequently when needed making sure we had everything we needed. The "Love Shack cabin is absolutely breathtaking and includes a very comfortable king size bed as well as a large jacuzzi tub. We were extremely impressed and loved the fishing. Boat rentals are also a huge
plus. Will be coming back multiple times next year.

Beautifully updated cottages, good fishing & scenery that is so relaxing. With friendly hosts who were very caring. We are looking forward to returning next year! A big Thank you to Trevor & Lisa.

Mowat Landing Cottages is a great place to get away from the busy everyday life. We have rented a cottage there several times over the years. Trevor and Lisa are great owners, always trying to please. Beautiful Cottages. Generator produced hydro, but this year 2020 they added solar power to the cottages. Free WIFI, Great fishing from shore and by boat. Small convenience store for your odds and ends. Boat rental and more.
