The tall black hair bartender with the tatoos, said we can't have and order any more drinks because we have 2glasses and the pitcher counts as a third drink? !?
We were ordering for a 70 year old guy beside us and not even us! We told her that, she said I'm not arguing with you guys talk to the owner! Stay away if your looking for a quick drink. Me and everyone I know will never go there!

Moxies has come a long way, the summer menu was fresh and diverse, the drinks heavy on the good stuff, and the service was attentive.

I called at 12: 25am to order for takeout, and was told no to do the regulations that the government put in place. When i asked he told me we stop serving liquor so i can’t do takeout. Which makes no sense because the regulations only apply to dine in and not take out. But i called the bramalea location that closes at 2am and they had no problem taking my order for takeout. So instead of driving 5 mins i now have to drive 25 mins because the gentleman didn’t care to take my order.it’s the little things that matter. It is extremely annoying. I get a lot os going on for restaurants, but be clear in the regulations set so you aren’t inconveniencing others, especially with all this snow

Great spot for a lunch meeting. The dining area is comfortable and inviting. Food at moxies has been a favourite always and the services matches that. Check them out

Food, waitressing, decor, wine was excellent. Very nice place to eat and take a break. The lower star rating was only due to the fact that you couldn't hear a thing because of the sound system overhead. 1-1/2 hr.lunch wasted by trying to use sign language instead of talking!

Great atmosphere for a date! We had a booth and the vibe of the environment was perfect. The tomato and feta appetizer was amazing!

Extremely poor management that doesn’t make up for the food. Go to any other Moxie’s. A mistreated staff is inexcusable

Our table had the nachos to start which were really good. Chicken alfredo and salmon were delicious. Our server Jordan was fantastic the entire evening. Highly recommend this location!

Great appetizers and good service. However the mains were poorly done. I had the New York steak medium and it was seated properly. However, the expensive cut if meat lacked any seasoning. I stopped eating it after a few bites realizing the entire steak was not seasoned. Also very watery as if it was unfrozen. The manager came to the table and immediately asked why I didn't have it refried. I felt they turned the blame back on me, the customer, for the quality of their food and not doing something about it. They did provide the dessert as recompense. I left a generous tip for the service since they deserve that BUT was not at all satisfied with the quality of the main nor being shamed for not having done something about the quality of their product. Will not be returning. There are too many other great restaurants that do much better.

Excellent customer service! We picked up take out and there was a certain item missing in the order. General Manager (Jon Rodgers) took the time to make sure the order was corrected and delivered. Amazing customer service!

White chocolate brownie is amazing and the rest of food is too! Love their vegan tacos and fettuccine pasta

Moxies is just a comfortable, friendly place with good food and drinks. Attentive staff and ambience. My go to on Wednesday for half price wine.

Food was wonderful however service was inattentive and sporadic - which has been the trend the last few times we’ve been here. Meals came out staggered, the drinks were wrong and I was 1/2 done my meal before I could flag a manager to bring me some condiments as my waitress was missing in action. Next time I’m spending $200 on a meal it won’t be here.

The host was rude. The waiter was great and the food was delicious. Service was quick and if it wasn't for the host it would have been great experience

Very tasty food and professional service. Although the waitresses could do better in taking notes for special orders with instructions! The management is so professional though and takes good care of the customers.

Amazing food and staff, great atmosphere. Very well timed service all throughout the meal. John is the man, fantastic manager he was very professional and polite and checked to see how we were enjoying our meal. I would recommend this specific location to anyone looking for a great night out for food and drinks

Good place, good ambience.
We went for lunch on Saturday and reserved our table in advance. The food was good. I order the vegan Taco, it was filling and tasted good. The service was okay too. I had to ask them for a refill of my glass of water 4 times and it came finally, was sort of disappointed with having to request that multiple times, otherwise would have given 5 stars

Great food and service always.wide selection of food and beverages. There's something for everyone. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Love this place! The food is always good but staff can improve on their customers service skill. They are not always friendly.

Been here a few times for the year, had a nice meal in a relaxing atmosphere with great service and friendly staff.

Me and my bestie went here for dinner and had an absolutely amazing time! We had Vanessa as our server and she was beyond fantastic. She made recommendations on what to drink and what to eat and we loved everything she recommended! She was amazing to have conversations with and we loved her! She was the best! Thank you Vanessa for making out girls date night the best one yet! <3

Totally cool place to take a loved one to brunch. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because we got seated in a windy spot. The glass surrounding is like a wind tunnel on the west side. Not to blame anyone, covid restrictions was the cause. Food was presented wonderfully, tasted great and the staff were fast and attentive. We had calamari and guacamole. Thanks!

I have been there a few times. Love the food and ambiance, salmon and avocado cobb salad is my fav!

I had an issue that I brought to their attention. The Manager and GM went beyond expectations to ensure my family would want to go back to this location. Fantastic service and I can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely delicious whether be it done-in or take-out. The flavor doesn't change at all, we always dine or take out at the Argentia location. For starters, try the Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs, so tender and mouth watering. If you like seafood, the Crispy Calamari slathered in lemon is awesome. My daughters order the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni and Chicken Cashew Lettuce Wrap. For main seafood, try the Lemon Basil (Herb) Salmon and if you enjoy meat.try the Steak Frites with their mouth watering beef dip.you can never go wrong.

I like this spot! They prepare first-rate food, they have a rich menu, The cook in that spot is well trained, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the guests is very good too. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.

I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I love how the service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat regularly. Rates are reasonable and they serve large portions.

This is the second time in three years that I visited Moxie's at this location the food is always great the services super and the prices are reasonable

The restaurant decor is nice, a bit dark, but fine. There is a lot of background noise making a conversation with friends difficult and the menu was overpriced for what we received. I ordered a salad and chicken and it was tasty, but for the price they could have at least tossed in a few more lettuce leaves. My friend had an Asian inspired soup as he is vegetarian and he was underwhelmed. I doubt we will return.

Pretty good food, but the chip to dip ratio for the mosaic dip appetizer was lacking. Not enough dip! We asked if we could have more but the answer was a whole new dish would need to be ordered to do so. What's it take to get a lil extra dip up in here? Otherwise, service and food was great. Nice patio and lovely atmosphere. Just watch out for the sticky pudding. It's as huge as a brick but seems more like carrot cake your Grandma would serve you. Yikes!

This is normally one of our favorite places to go when we want great food and service. This may be why I was so surprised, when my $34.00 steak, vegetables and roasted potatoes were cold. We came for lunch, at 2pm, not very busy, and because we were celebrating our anniversary, we came starving. The steak was overdone and luke warm, the vegetables had beans and yellow zucchini both were cold and the zucchini was mushy, and finally the roasted potatoes extra brown on one side and cold in the middle as well. We did not have time or the energy to send mine back, and my wifes meal which was exactly the same was perfect (she had stuffed potatoe instead). Service was ok definitely not the way they checked on you before, and seemed pleasant but detached. The three rating was for getting my wifes food right, but I think we are gonna skip Moxies the next time.

Rude server named marieanna served my daughter and I the other day. Would it kill her to smile once in a while or at least try to hide her eye rolls?

Waited too long for the bill one of the hostesses had to find our server, we could have dined and dashed in the 30min wait! Food was great though!

Food was good! The serving sizes were plenty! We came out the restaurant very full. The service was friendly and quick. They made sure we were happy by checking up on us frequently. The environment made you want to kick back and just relax. We had a great time.

Really good service and food quality but $22 for penne pasta in an Alfredo sauce is ridiculously expensive for $1 worth of pasta

This location matchs up to Moxie's standard with service, ambience, and taste. One less star for minimum to none options for tables sauses and spices.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. One of my favorite places to eat by far. The portobello New York steak is a must try.

So I was traveling thru town and stopped by based on reviews. The reviews do not do this place justice! The food was AMAZING! This was nothing compared to the service. My husband tried a new beer (barking squirrel), and was loving it. We asked our server, Andrea, where we could find some because we are from the States. She then brought out the beverage manager, Peter, and he looked up beer store locations for us. Thanks for not only doing your job, but going that extra step. This was my first time trying a Moxie's and it won't be my last. I hope all of your locations have such great employees!

I had a gift card for there. I liked it but not enough to return. The menu at the time was Asian and tuna influenced. I'm not a huge fan of tuna tacos for $18.
Their sandwiches are surprisingly good, but again it's more expensive than should be. The service wasn't good or prompt unfortunately.

Good food and friendly staff, but the service was a bit slow. Also, very dim lighting made it hard to see. Busy; would not recommend to people searching for a quiet restaurant.

I am giving 3 stars because I am saddened that they have decided to take off the Korean Cauliflower off their menu. Please bring it back!

Jenny the server suggested the best meal n she was very friendly. Ended off my Mother’s Day very nicely!
