Went out on a lovely date with my wife before a raptors game at Scotiabank Arena. It was a very cozy setting and the food was wonderful! The service was great and the washrooms were also very neat and clean.

Additionally … the white chocolate brownie bite was incredible!

I had high expectations for this place, having visited different branches with excellent service. I hope the management takes note of this review and strives for service improvement.

The restaurant's ambiance is indeed inviting, accentuated by the green artificial plants on the walls, which provide a pleasing interior touch.

Our orders and ratings were as follows:

Calamari: 5/10
Regrettably, it was neither warm nor hot, and the calamari was disappointingly chewy.
Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wrap: 10/10
The lettuce was refreshingly crisp, and the combination of cashew chicken with lettuce was spot-on.
Chipotle Mango Chicken: 10/10
A must-try; this dish stood out with its delightful blend of vegetables, rice, and chicken. However, there was a hiccup with our request for no butter.
Chicken Alfredo: 4/10
Sadly, this dish was dry and fell short of our expectations, considering the difficulty of going wrong with Alfredo sauce.
Lemon Basil Salmon: 10/10
A highlight of the meal; the salmon was beautifully juicy and delicious.

I had anticipated a superior experience from Moxies. Unfortunately, this branch did not live up to the drive it took to get there.

It's evident that server training is needed, particularly in terms of demeanor. The lack of a smile and an unusual question regarding extra forks left us questioning the service.

Overall, our experience was less than satisfactory.

Was here recently and this place is good for after work drinks but that's about it. Nachos were definitely nuked and plastic cheese. The woman serving us with the nose ring and tattoos was outstanding and definitely made the difference. She was genuinely happy.

Place is tight and very very dim. Loud.

I have tried moxies at various location, I wouldn’t rate this specific location as best of moxies. I had LIIT, which alright and Mango chicken: chicken was little salty!
It was my friend’s birthday, the complimentary dessert was good!

I loved this place.
My Man and I went here after CN tower gave us a no show for being 30mins late sad.
It was my birthday so we Gave Moxies a try and we loveddd it.
Expect for the Minosa drink that drink killed us in 1 taste 0/10 sorry. We had ro request for something else cause gosh.

Aside that the food was so good we loved it.

The food at Moxies is one of the best I have had the entire week. The portion sizes are great and the food is extremely well seasoned. Besides everything they have the best / well dressed Ceaser salad I have ever had. The waitress was really kind to suggest the alternatives to rice portions. Dishes recommended are: chicken and ribs, lemon basil salmon steak, Caesar salad.

The bartender last night went above and beyond. Thanks for the Bahama Mama and your awesome customer service. Amanda (manager) did an awesome job last night with assisting her staff, and customers. Last night was a busy night. The service, food and atmosphere 5 stars. Good job, keep it up!

Your staff on Canada day were horrible and made us feel very uncomfortable. They were constantly talking and gossiping about people in the restaurant and on their phone the whole time! The server had such bad attitude even when we asked her how she was doing she responded "Well nobody wants to work on Canada day.it sucks" Then proceeded to roll her eyes and sigh. Umm excuse me? This is your job and I just tipped you 20 percent which I wish I wouldn't of for the horrible service. The food was cold and bland. The drinks were full of ice and after two sips the drink was gone. Im gonna attach the pictures of that night. I will never be coming back to this moxies. Teach your staff to treat customers with respect and if they don't want to work on Canada day don't work.instead of having a nasty attitude. I'm disgusted and so disappointed!

Everything on the menu is awful, except the lemon burger, it’s on the secret menu only available with the Moxie’s Battle Pass.

I had the cashew chicken lettuce wraps. Perfect if you are not looking for a heavy dinner. Iceberg lettuce is perfectly crispy. The only thing I would say is add more cashews as I am a nut lover.
But good taste and the crispy wontons elevated it. Yummy

Good vibe and friendly service. Just got their sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was good. Not very sweet and the large one can suffice for 3. The cake is soft and moist and the toffee sauce is warm and comforting.

Food was great, drinks were fun. The only thing that stopped them from being 5 stars was the loud music. Made it hard to hear my tablemates. Otherwise, it's great!

The place is good and the main plates shine, but the entrances could be better. The sushi is not actually sushi since there is not seaweed, It is tasty but It is not sushi at all.

If i have to say the BEST thing, It was the ribs.

Came here for a birthday meal, food was ok, server was very helpful though. The music as you came in was way too loud for a restaurant as it was very difficult to speak to the host at the front desk - I would suggest the volume be maybe slightly lower (unless you are going for the nightclub vibe)

Because of the time, it was very loud and some itemson the menu had run out. Food was good, service good

Great food, fair prices, great server, food came quickly. Was a quite loud bin there. I'm all about good music. But I could barely talk or hear over it at times. 5 stars otherwise

Was served by Keerthana and was a decent experience, only recommendation is bringing the nachos out sooner, it wasn't that busy either

Was on Vacation trip to Toronto patio was great and heated too. Good food and waiter was awesome.

Friendly and quick service. Love the rotational drafts they have. Washrooms were clean and neat as well.
We only had drinks a lot of drinks.

The food was sooo good. We had Tuna sushi stack, chipotle mango chicken (wow!) and Chicken Madeira Rigatoni. Great service. Reserved on Open Table.

The ambience is a little too loud for my personal liking tbh. Food-wise, the food is decent but priced exactly at standard mid-tier fine-dining rates and unfortunately, didn't gave me that "wow" impression (With that price rate, I would have chose the amazing Blu Restorante instead). Service-wise is quite okay - the waitress attending to us seemed pretty overworked and exhausted (We were there at 10+pm - so it's understandable), and she's trying her best to provide us with the best services, so i highly commend her on her effort.

Delicious food. Excellent service. Beautiful atmosphere. Very noisy in terms of music and television shows. Might be good for some people. I personally prefer light music and decent music in a restaurant.

Good food and helpful staff, but the staff seemed somewhat confused and disorganized (eg.forgetting which table got which food, bringing cutlery twice).
Music was quite loud inside so my group moved outside without issue.

Very loud. Drinks and food take a long time to come out. Calamari was bitter (don't know why). Don't buy it. Jelly donuts were nice. However we won't go to that location again.

Everything else was booked so came here for a quick bite after a busy day doing the tourist stuff. The place is very clean and the staff is attentive. The price is reasonable too considering where they are located. Highly recommended. Our server Johny took very good care of us.

The food here is amazing. I replaced the chicken in my Alfredo pasta with shrimp and also got medium-well salmon steak on the side. Best meal I’ve had in a long time since this lockdown.

My cousin and I went here today and I must say what we ordered was seasoned nicely, tasted great but the food wasn't as hot as we thought it should be coming from the kitchen. Manager apologized and was very nice to accommodate the issue. The drinks were amazing. You can literally taste the alcohol and not watered down. We decided to go in and tip the bartender.

Ordered takeout and was there in time to pick up but had to wait twenty minutes amd then we get back to the hotel we find out they didnt give me what I ordered and paid for. Very disappointing. People were freindly though so that's what the two stars are for.

We were seated at a partial out door spot.

JR was our server/bartender and he throughly assisted my wife in making her red wine choice. A+

Ordered Amber Ale and a 9 oz red wine (once the choice was made).

We ordered the mango chicken and a half rack of ribs.

Both dishes arrived and were well portioned and delicious.

A large shout out to JR for an outstanding dining experience. Thanks again.

AMAZING STUFF!
I celebrated my birthday with my family at the begging of April. Server named Jamie (I hope I typed his name correct) was so kind. I ordered some meal which didn’t suppose to be spicy but unfortunately it was to me. Jamie kindly offered to replace my meal to a new one and took the cost of meal on the restaurant. He was very attentive and did everything to make our evening amazing.

Just finished the blackened chicken burger with sweet fries. It was juicy, balanced, and very unexpected. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a delicious and filling meal, grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the game with a feast.

Good food, cool vibe, great staff! I had the steak salad because I read some reviews saying it was good and I wasn't disappointed. It's a busy place. But the staff have it under control. The service was great and all the food we ordered was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Lovely atmosphere. They have as a complimentary cake slice for my cousin.their waitresses were nice and professional. Food came in excellent time.

White choclate brownie is too good to go for in deserts. They discontinued Dark choclate brownie, but everything else is worth visit

Came here for a work lunch. The bruschetta was fantastic, as were my blackened chicken tacos. Our server was also very attentive and helpful. Definitely a great spot to check out in the financial district of Toronto if you are looking for a sit down meal with some coworkers.

The food, staff and environment here are great at this location. It's just a little bit on the loud side for a lunch meeting.

Was there at Xmas lunch with colleagues. Food was delicious, half rack of BBQ lamb with baked seasoned potato wedges and salad. A bit pricey but worth it.

Went here this afternoon to have casual lunch with colleagues. Good service, great food and our server was very attentive. I deducted two stars because the woman at front desk greeted our party with a rude attitude (tall woman, long black hair and tanned skin - we couldn't grab her name). Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the off-putting first impression.

Staff very friendly. But the food was cold. Sent it back and received new order. Found the seating very uncomfortable. High chairs hard to get on and off.

Held a surprise birthday party here for my sister over the weekend on Dec 16. Leading up to the party, both Sam & Jordan were very responsive and helped us set a prix fixe menu. They were also very sweet and accommodating to any specific requests that we asked for - which is a feat since we were a party of 25!

The day of the party, appetizers and drinks were served promptly and the surprise reveal went seamlessly, thanks to the front desk and serving staff. The prix fixe menu was to everyone's liking and the birthday girl appreciated the birthday dessert at the very end. I want to extend my thanks specifically to Sam, Jordan, Matteo, Sean, Jessica & Jonah for helping and making the party a success!

Great decor and service to match. Plenty of seating and a spacious design. Food was good and arrived on time.

Probably the best hamburger I ever ate. Very polite and beautiful servers. Euro house draught also great.

A Downton bar that's similar to most of the other big names. If you like Jack's, Cactus Club, King Taps and Earls then you'll like Moxie's.

Drinks and atmosphere was good. Ordered a burger, some part of patty was nice but some other parts are salty.

Apparently this downtown Toronto Moxie's is a test kitchen, with very different and varied menu from the other branches; the menu is thus not very comparable to other locations. The service was average, considering that it was a slow night and mostly empty, you would expect better and faster service, but we still had to wait for every single thing including paying the bill. The bill was brought to us, without a machine or anyone asking how we were paying, we were then left alone for about 6 to 7 minutes before the server brought the POS machine. We had the beef vandaloo and chicken Madeira rigatoni which were just okay and nothing fancy, it wasn't enough to give more than 3 stars. I personally wont be returning to this location.

I was recently at Moxies on University for a party and our service was beyond exceptional! Our waiter, Jessica, was wonderful and friendly and was able to accommodate our large party! The food was delicious and and space was beautiful. This has been my favourite Moxies experience!

I had the Chicken Rigatoni and it was SO good! The perfect amount was served and the sauce tastes really good. I went on a Tuesday afternoon around 2, it wasn't too busy which was good

Came in for a business lunch and the food was decent. Our sever Matteo, was incredible though. He was on top of everything and very attentive to our party. Kudos to him.

Il s'agit d'un bar tranquille ni trop grand ni trop petit très lumineuse accueillant chaleureux et il est facile de s'entendre parler.

Overall was unimpressed with this location. The service was brutally slow, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. In general, we were completely ignored even when it was time to pay. The only good part was the tacos which were delicious.

So so service. Asked twice to watch out for my friend's arrival but they could be bothered and seated her at a different table.
