Moxies Hunt Club Restaurant

It was on high-end side. The food was good. This is the place you go occasionally maybe for a date or anniversary.

Quite possibly the worst salsa I have ever had. Tasted like grocery store bottled stuff. I mean salsa can make or break nachos. Also was that shredded chicken or shredded tuna? It didn't taste like chicken at all.

Seeking supper on the road lead us to Moxies. Service was polite and efficient. We sat on thier exterior dinning area which has a nice ambiance. We had steak and beer and meat was well prepared and close to what we ordered, 1 rare and 1 blue. Staff forgot to bring ordered side of sauce, but not an issue as I wasn't charged for it. Likely got lost in the POS.

Awesome food and the staff was really friendly. Service was fast and there was available tables on a Saturday night. Portions size could potentially be a little larger for the price. Dessert, on the other side, was huge, almost impossible to finish between two. Kids pasta was also large.

Very rare can our family, looking for meat, vegan and kids options, agree on a restaurant. However, Moxies is one of those gems. Always great food and great staff. Thank you.

Just having arrived back home from a long work trip, I took the family to Moxie's for a fun night out. Kids loved the atmosphere and the server and managers made our stay welcoming and warm.
Outstanding food also. Had the blackened shrimp tacos and my wife had the crispy chicken sandwich (her fave). Kids are well also and they were able to accommodate my son's gluten intolerance and the manager even came out to ensure we were satisfied with their solutions.
Definitely going back for date night!

We liked the chicken lettuce wrap. Calamari and Mango chicken was ok. Portions compared to the price they charged did't satisfy. We tried few shots but they were almost $11 each and i find it little expensive.

Uninspired meal that was not worth the price. Two beers plus this plate was $100 with tax and tip. Decent atmosphere and courteous service but not worth it.

We came in for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Girl at the front was very nice. We were seated in the dining area. Our server came very quickly.
Nethania was our server. She had a huge smile and was very pleasant.
She is an excellent server. She always checked on us. Took time to chat with us. Brought us an anniversary cake with a sparkler. We found out she works and is in universities studying.
I was very impatient with her. My husband and I enjoyed her service. It’s not often that people actually seem to be happy and enjoy their job. She is amazing! Thanks

Was visiting Ottawa this weekend and stopped in for a late lunch. Great place, great food and great service. Totally not rushed at all and everyone from entry to exit was kind and friendly.

Had a great meal and experience. The atmosphere was great. Our server Emily (hope I remember the name correctly) was lovely.

I didn't eat.but be sure to bring a wallet stuffed with cash. 3 draught beers totalled $38.that's too much for on tap

A middle of the road option. Elements of chain dining mixed with upscale pub style atmosphere. A good option for reliable, tasty food but not upscale or fancy. A date night or family event style of eatery.

Had an amazing dinner here last week. We had the pleasure of being served by Jade on the lounge side and had a wonderful experience. The tuna tacos were amazing we can’t wait to come back

We went to have dinner for our birthday/graduation celebration. It was wonderful, especially after meeting our host, Andrew. He was so helpful and made the experience really special with his friendliness and being so attentive. The food was deeelicious, and we will be coming back soon for another birthday dinner

Food was not good at all. Ordered a steak salad. Over seasoned the salad. Steak was tough and over cooked when I asked for medium rare. Presentation was one of the sloppiest I have ever seen at any restaurant. The entire experience was not pleasant.

We were a group of 3 and it was not the best experience we usually have at Moxies at different locations.
1. The indoor salon had flies circling and kept attacking us & our food, we understand it's summer and very hard to keep bugs away, but it had set the mood
2. The smashed avocado deep was delicious and I usually enjoy this appetizer with awesome choice of gluten free chips, however my friend caught a sticker from Avocados in her mouth, she almost swalled it. We jocked that it means that this was actually made from real Avocados and the manager was apologetic and removed it from our bill. He offered to bring another dish but we kindly refused.
3. The special Passion fruit cocktail was rather blant and tasteless, it tasted like it was too diluted with water/ice and lacked in taste.
4. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, and tried to fix little issues and came to check in on my friend who has severe shell fish allergy toensure her that kitchen table and utensils have been fully cleaned to prep her food, and to just check in since there were couple of complaints
5. I had steak and mash with Ceasar salad, which tasted good, but not the best I had:)

Overall I think I'd come back only because of the pleasant staff and our waitress.

I dislike giving full stars, but it is what it is.

The location is clean, waitress was very polite and prompt, and food was both well presented and tasted great.

Plenty of external parking, and delivery of food was very prompt

My family and I went for Dinner at the Hunt Club Moxies last week and we had Cameron as our Server. Cameron took care of us - good sense of humour - service was quick - and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He made our time at Moxies very enjoyable. Tks Cameron!

Best place for girls night when I visit! Watermelon cocktail and rose sangria are the best!

Pretty solid overall, it was a little louder and darker than I expected, but the food was pretty decent.

I had the chicken Thai salad which was fresh and tangy! Lots of seeds for crunch and a dressing with some zing! Chicken was tender and flavorful. A bit pricey at $25 but it was a large portion which I would order it again. My dining partner had the tuna sushi appetizer and said the ratio of tuna to rice / avocado was too low. It needed more tuna! Always great service and pleasant atmosphere at this chain of restaurant
