The guy on the other end of the phone needs some anger management and customer service skills class.even if a customer asks for something in your opinion to be ridiculous there is no need to get so defensive and angry and yell at customers.

This response just proves the point.

Beware, don't use your real email to give true feedback, hibid is not that fair place for your customer right or safe place for your personal info. That is always your fault on hibid, protect yourself.

Always ask more details as much as possible. Ask for pictures of real item inside the box. Never trust screenshot or box picture.

Great place, very friendly and accommodating. I had items I didn’t know about from way back, and they had them with my current items ready to go, and waived the storage/late fees. Highly recommend this auction place, will be back for sure! Thanks mr big deals for amazing customer service…it’s rare these days!

By far my favourite online auction. The descriptions are accurate and they stand behind what they say. I have been a repeat client for a couple of years now and I tell everyone to check them out (just don’t outbid me) ;)

Response: I contacted you 31 days after picking up the product not over 40 as you stated and if your inspection missed the significant damage the business should take ownership it’s about good customer service not the bare minimum your policy dictates. I have never experienced another business admitting they sold a faulty product but not offering any remedy. Also I have NOT consented for you to share my personal transaction details as you so carelessly did, consumers have a right to privacy.

I purchased a product from them which stated the packaging was damaged but the product was not effected / new condition. The box was previously opened, packaging was marked up and the product had a large dent so I contacted customer service. They were quite rude and stated it’s my fault for not reaching out within 10 days. Be aware their product condition is completely inaccurate, after they get your money they are completely unwilling to help.

I have dealt with this auction site many times and have never been disappointed. Employees are friendly and very quick and efficient. It is certainly a weekly site I search every week. A big thumbs up!

I do a lot of auctions on HiBid, and of all the ones I have won, Mr. Big Deals is one of the easiest to deal with. Lots of flexibility in pick up times, and well organized. I am there picking things up every week now.

I have been buying from Mr. Big Deals for a few years and have always had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them and the products they sell.

Love their booking system. Staffs are very efficient and well mannered. Online booking system plus text queue system on the day if you did not book in advance.

No surprises in terms of products and what they auction.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Recently tried to bid on a product at their facility. I got an email back the next morning stating that I was NOT approved for bidding and thank you for my interest. They couldn’t even give me a reason why? I think it’s really rude how they responded back, Even though the item I was bidding on says that you can ship it.

I've been shopping with Mr Big Deals since 2018 and 3 locations later I'm still a huge fan. Customer service has always been excellent for me. I've had no issue communicating pickups or holdovers during covid by email. Lately I've been using the daily waitlist because I can't guarantee what date I'll be in the city to pick up and its been pretty seamless. I've even missed the cut off and called and let them know I'm coming and I'm prepared to wait if need be. Items are always as listed, I've only gotten 2 duds which were as-is items so they were a gamble from the start. Full disclosure I've also bought as is items that were fine. I'm an avid auction shopper and truly they rank in my Top 3.

I loved this auction site. Customer service is excellent. Waiting time for pick up is really impressive even not having an appointment.

Apr 22. Response to Mr Big Deals response. Considering you can go to the post office and buy a "if it fits, it ships" box for less than the CanPar 25% discounted rate, I don't think you are doing your best for customers. I do appreciate you responding but I wanted to ensure future customers of your preferred shipping rates. My first and last experience with Mr Big Deals has left a sour taste in my mouth. I asked about adding an additional $10.00 to my item invoice so they could throw the lot in a padded envelope. They said no and invoiced me for an additional $23.08. They had me over a barrel so I agreed and low and behold, 1 week later my cards in a plastic caddy show up in a padded envelope. If you are not able to pick up in person, be warned that shipping charges will be extremely expensive.

I have purchased nearly a dozen products from this auction and they never disappoint. Products always as listed, invoicing timely, and multiple payment options to best suit you. Pickup is swift and straight forward especially if you make an appointment prior. Would definitely order again.

Today's pick up was flawless. I called ahead, was put on the same day text pick up notice. I received a text saying my items were ready and picked up moments later. Pleasant, fast and courteous

Got a speel today about not calling when I'm 30 seconds away to save us both time from the company who sends out a 1700+ word 6 minute email with every invoice. I can only imagine the logistical nightmare of running a liquidation auction warehouse, and I get that when most people say 30 seconds or one minute, it's safe to assume they're going to be five to ten minutes on the generous side, waste your time and creating a cascading schedule backlog that now wastes everyone else's time, so point taken.

However, if you want people to follow your instructions don't nestle them in the middle of War & Peace Still giving you guys five stars though because you actually know how to run this and don't waste my time, ever. And yes, I see the irony in criticizing the very communication that makes your seamless scheduling possible in the first place. I really just wrote all of this for the War & Peace punchline.

Great service and easy pick up (used both the appointment and text appointment). Had some issues with some items. But a simple email and they were very helpful and dealt with the issue with ease.

Awesome auction site in the city. So far everything I've gotten from them has been exactly as described, and I've so far saved a good $200 by spending $250 on Mr Big Deals. Pickup is easy and convenient, I usually do the text waitlist method as I can not guarantee a time, just the day I can swing by to pickup.

My only issue is trying to get in and out of their lot as it's close to a heavily traveled intersection.

I deal with several resellers in Toronto and have to say that these guys are among the best. I find myself checking in weekly to see what great new stuff they've added. They take their time to inspect and accurately advertise the products that they're selling, so that you know that you're getting a quality product. Most items they sell are in new/like new condition, which I love, as opposed to some other sellers that use "AS-IS" and a lot of hidden legal T&Cs to pawn off their junk on you. And if there ever is an issue - which is rare - MBD will make it right!
