Walk in order. Got home and order was wrong 15 minute drive. Called store and they took my number to call me back. Restaurant was empty when I walked in at 5pm. So order was easy how can you mess it up but they did We ask for fries with the souvlaki dinners we got rice which we don’t like. The owner called me and said next time we are in he will give us large complimentary fries. What a joke. Wrong answer should have said we will deliver fresh food asap. Not going back.

Experience is good.i worked here for two days.owner and staff is good.but don't know why they not hired me.very disappointing for me.i want to ask the owner but he does not respond.i need this work.plz help me In getting work in mr.greek.i loved it

I’ve been a customer of this location constantly for the past year and will NEVER go back there ever again.
I ordered my usual, keep in mind that I ALWAYS order.
Everything seemed fine until I picked up my order and opened it at home.
It was the completely wrong order for everything, which is fine people make mistakes.
I called back and told them nicely what it was supposed to be for both orders.
I always get the Mediterranean box and when I mentioned that’s what I ordered. The person replied that they don’t have a Mediterranean box. I literally order it all the time so I replied, uh the one with the vegetables. He replied we don’t have vegetables or a Mediterranean box, replying with attitude as if I’m an idiot and don’t know what I’m talking about….
I obviously replied “you’re telling me you guys never had some thing THAT I ALWAYS ORDER.
I asked to speak to some one who can further help me without giving me attitude. Then he says “I’m the OWNER”
Then while still on the phone I check the website and it’s no longer on there.
So, they obviously got rid of it and discontinued it. WHICH IS ALL HE HAD TO SAY. Literally all they had to say was we discontinued it. Instead of giving me attitude as if I’m an idiot.
Then processed to ask if there’s anything else I need from him, like I was wasting his precious time.didn’t even offer for me to come back to re do my order, which I would of been fine with.
I then kindly said, well Sir if you’re the owner let me just say you’ve completely lost my business for good and you should be ashamed of yourself to speak to your own customer like that.
I of course drove and brought my food back and kindly asked for a refund and left.

I advise not to support this owners location. He was extremely unpleasant to deal with and does not deserve business at all. I’ve only ever written one review in my life and this is officially my second. I must say the workers are great though. I’ve always had a great experience with them. It’s unfortunate the OWNER himself will be the reason I will never return to this place ever again.

Once again I didn't eat here I am Vegan. My son Did. He said to give it 5 Stars. He ordered Souvlaki Chicken seems to really like it.

The food was delicious but it took a while to receive my order, I suggest calling the order in first.

Went on a Friday night and the place was empty. The wait time was pathetic. I won’t be returning

Service was surprisingly slow. I think I was expecting fast food but it took 20 mins or so to make simple gyros wraps. It wasnt even busy. The food was great though.

Prices have gone way up and portions at this location are smaller. I go to few Mr Greeks because I like getting the Gyro with salad and one side (vegtables) and a bottle of water. This now costs $21. It used to be around $15. I understand having to pay more, but this location gives smaller portions compared to other Mr Greek locations.

The side salad was good but I was not a fan of the chicken souvlaki pita. I didn't like the salad mix they added, the tomatoes were gigantic there was not enough tzatziki. The chicken was kind of dry. It also felt kind of expensive I got the side salad a chicken souvlaki Pita and a bottle of water and it came $16.93 which is a lot for lunch.

Delicious food and great presentation.

Takes some time for food but worth the wait!

Would like to see more drink options (coffee)

Placed an order on skip the dishes. It was the 5 stick deal. I ordered 4 orders (20 sticks total, half chicken, half pork). They didn't give any bread and only one small tub of tzatziki. They also put all the sticks together in one tray and separated by aluminum foil that is meant for wrapping (only aluminum on one side) it was messy and sticks all the juices were mixed. Absolutely terrible and very disappointed. I paid a lot of money for it.

Staff was friendly. Wonderful service. Manager/owner took time to make sure we had enjoyed our meal. Best grilled vegetables! Would definitely go back.

Got lamb souvlaki and meat very gristly. I ordered rice and potatoes and got home to discover grilled vegetables and potatoes instead.
My daughter had eagerly awaited a classic dinner but no rice.
I drove 30 minutes to this location.
Last time I ordered 3 lamb medium rare and all 3 overcooked.
I will look for a new restaurant.

Do you want to place your order and wait at least 15-20 minutes for it to be ready? Then you won’t be disappointed here!

Do you like to place your order ahead of time so you can show up 30 minutes later to pick it up quickly? OUCH, then you might be disappointed here. Because here they specialize in waiting until you show up to pick it up, before they start prepping it, that way you can wait an extra 15-20 minutes.

How about gyro meat…do you like your gyro meat cut EXTRA EXTRA thick and then cooked on the grill to remove any remaining juices so it’s about as dry as jerky? EXCELLENT! Then bring yourself over to Mr Greek on Kingston road where flavour, efficiency or speed, is not in their vocabulary!

This review is based on at least 8-10 visits. Finally gave up after the last visit.

The service and food was terrible. I’ve eaten at other locations and have had a much better experience. Sorry but I will not be back.

My husband just purchased 2 chicken gyros in pitas for lunch. While they were taking the chicken off the skewer, he noticed that it was very tiny dry pieces that were being shaved off as there wasn’t a lot of meat left. He asked whether it was fresh and the individual stated that it’s fresh and provided two wraps filled with a few tiny pieces of extra dry chicken and brown lettuce. We were excited to see a Mr. Greek in this area, but would never purchase from here again, really disappointing.

Subpar Greek food, my gyro literally had like 4 fries. Coming from a Greek myself, I would not recommend especially for the price, not worth it.

Food is ok. Doesn't hit the same as it used years ago when I used to have it in downtown Toronto and Scarborough. The salad dressing provided didn't taste good. Ordered the chicken soulvaki dinner and it was around $20, super expensive. There are cheaper and more tastier Greek options available in the area. Also there is no A/C so don't bother dining unless you want to get melted. Looks like the staff was struggling to work in those conditions.

Food is only good when they're open and have it. Aug 16 they were closed in the middle of the day (3pm) and Aug 22 they were open at 9: 29pm, shut all the lights off when I got to the door and told me they only have salad. When I went back to my car, they turmed all the lights back on. They're open to 10pm. Won't spend my money here again.

The food is overpriced and unfortunately we got bad potatoes - how are we supposed to eat this and give it to our little one?

I ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner, paid almost $20 and for the portion of what I got especially the size of the chicken, I was very disappointed. I was still hungry after what they called a dinner. I will never go back.

I had a spanakopita and the filo pastry was raw and there was barely any filling in it. It was like receiving a chunk of raw filo pastry. Most of it I couldn't eat

I placed a delivery order 2.5 hours prior to the time I wanted the food, it arrived 1.25 hours after my set delivery time. I was called from the restaurant 30 minutes after my set delivery time to say it will be 30 minutes late and still arrived later. I was told I was gonna receive cookies I didn't receive that. Portions where small as well even though I orderd dinner meals. Over all this was my second time ordering first time was not a good experience neither was this time, I will not be ordering again. I'd suggest ordering from millos Greek restaurant instead.

Placed an order for a family meal two days in advance for Christmas Eve. Order was accepted and confirmed by the restaurant. Rather than cancelling the order or calling us to tell us they were having an issue, they sent us a single meal to feed four people and billed us for the family meal. When I called them about the problem, they hung up on me-twice. No apologies, no refund. Absolute nonsense. Will never order from Mr. Greek in Pickering again.

Portions are so small now. 20 bucks for classic dinner. Barley any rice, 3 potatos and less meat. Used to be alot bigger. Not impressed, won't be coming back anymore to this location.

Food is alright. Not great. I only really order here when I'm desperate for greek food and this place is the only one opened.

Could be a bit more food for the price in my opinion comparing to other Greek and/or Mediterranean restaurants. My usual go to restaurants taste much better but again this place isn't horrible just not the best in my opinion.

I've had 1 or 2 times where my food delivery was delayed (delivery time at the most was 50 or 60 min total wait) but I usually don't mind it because I know what to expect from here already.

Attached is a photo of my recent uberEats delivery. Without the uberEats fees. This came to around $31.00 more or less (tax included). (I did already eat the garlic bread before I took this photo so it's not seen but it was good.)

I walked in and I was the only person in there. I thought “great, it will be quick”. After about 20 minutes and 5 people served who came in after me I was very close to complaining. Not sure what is happening but many places lately are serving uber eats and online orders before the people standing right in front of them. Not a good look. This location has always been slow, which is why i was surprised that I beat the rush, but got SERVED AFTER the rush.

This store purposely refuses to answer the phone and then lies about it. The phone rings for hours while they are open, yet no one picks up.

We love Mr. Greek but this location has really an awful service. Been here twice and service is always extremely slow. The last time I ordered was just yesterday and it was not good at all. I asked some grilled chicken with my greek salad and by the look on the chicken its something not presentable at all.

Awful experience today. Ordered food they said 40 minutes. Went there.guess what sorry we ran out! Are you kidding me! You took my number why not call me to tell me so I could make other arrangements. And wasn't even apologetic! Great way to run a business! We ended up going to Retro Burger. They actually have Greek food too! So we thought might as well try it.it was great!

Ordered 50 chicken sticks for a birthday party on Feb 8-20 and the quality of the chicken was absolutely terrible - rubbery and chewy. Came with tzatziki and pita which were good, but it was disappointing nonetheless, as typically the food is good at Mr. Greek. Reached out to head office to let them know about our experience - but didn't hear back, so figured I'd leave a review accordingly.

Picking up food takes forever should not take more than 15 min. I’ve been waiting more than 30 min. Imma still come here tho. Food is great but service needs to be faster

Ordered from here on skip. Soooo nice and hot and yummy. Had the classic meal for two - chicken souvlaki and a gyro dinner. Everything was perfect. Please don’t deteriorate in quality so we can keep ordering!

I love Greek food and this is one of the better Greek places. Ordered the other day and everyone in the family loved it. I've ordered several times over the last year and it has always been delicious. I highly recommend!

Long wait time, stood at the counter for more than 5 minutes before someone even took my order. Large serving, however it was over price and bland. Lastly, I spent $25 for a single meal and they only gave my one very small container of tzatziki and wanted $1 for each additional container. I most certainly will not be eating here again.

I am not one to walk out of a place but I walked in for lunch, I was the only customer when I got there and there was only ONE table to sit at. All other tables still had plates and left over food on them.

The meal was great, we had intended to go out for fish n chips and then changed our minds and went for Greek instead. Had the souvlakis on a pita. Very tasty. Will be going back

Fries were uncooked and limp. Greek salad was nothing like the picture, had 3 olives and a little of other things. Basically paid 9.50 for a bowl of lettuce. Gyro average. Bread was the best part of the meal.

Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious, I had the chicken gyro and it was great. Portion is good too. The staff even came to ask us if everything was alright and to let them know if we had any problem. Will definitely come back

Ordered the lunch special of souvlaki and the gyros. Was disappointed especially by taste of the taziki and the gyro meat which was dry. The soulaki also did not meet up to the expectation. The fries were all soggy and were oily and were made from frozen. All and all a very disappointed meal.
